I love that your recipe videos often show the same ingredients used in several recipes (like the lettuce and carrot) and have a lot of variations depending on what people like/have at home. It reduces food wastage, especially for those of us living alone. The noodles looked so good - can’t wait to make those. Also using the grater for tofu, can’t believe I’ve never thought to do that - brilliant! I also appreciate how cheap/accessible your recipes are. So many youtubers (particularly I find vegan ones) love to use hard to find or expensive ingredients and it’s hard for students and people living in small towns to access those recipes so I love your channel and recipes. Also your sunny personality always makes your videos so fun to watch. Sorry for rambling on haha :)
Rose, I watch every video you make. Since finding your channel I've at least doubled the amount of tofu and bok choy I eat. Without counting calories I've lost weight by just making sure most of my calories come from healthy sources. By learning more about spices and herbs, I rely less fats and salt.
I use to have a dieting and binging problem before, probably because Lean cuisine was only 200-300 calories. Thanks for making this a realistic amount of calories 😊, I wish I had this to learn from when I was young.
I'm on a diet rn because my metabolism hates me and it don't metabolises cholesterol as it should and I gained weight so this is super useful to me! ❤️
I was so hyped the day I found peanut flour at Trader Joe's. It's pretty much the same as powdered peanut butter but way cheaper! I use it in GFV mug cakes 🌱
You could make a very nice broth out of those foods scraps from the stir fry! I always save up my carrot, onion, celery etc scraps in the freezer to make a broth when I’ve enough Less waste, and free bouillon!
Hey Rose!!! Thanks for another video!! My son is excited about trying these recipes. His 16th birthday is tomorrow and he's finally on board to eat more plant based foods!!! 💚💗💚💗
These look so good !healthy and colourful!Love how you narrate. I also liked that the advice re. reducing the amount of oil or not using at all when cooking. Personally it took me time to realize that one can cook without and now I stopped using (water instead). And I still eat fat but I prefer it to come from whole foods (nuts, seeds etc..) as opposed to oils. Thanks for all the recipes.
You put the tiniest amount of hummus on that wrap. I almost cried. You need at least 5x that amount. Not even joking or exaggerating. Hummus is a main ingredient! Get those beans!
I’ve been cutting back on oil when cooking and have been replacing it with vegetable broth. 10/10 recommend and it adds lots of flavor compared to water ! 🤌
Great video and recipes especially the stir fry and i need the onion in the stir fry usually a red onion and garlic(i have my own home grown garlic this year). I have onions and garlic in everything I can't live without those 2 ingredients.
Such a veg-full stirfry! A lot of tasty veggies, lots of colors and flavours. . Anyways, than you for ceaselessly inspiring us! Sending you lots of love! Have a great weekend!
Soba noodles are SO SO good! I absolutely love them in any form and the flavours you've used sound fantastic! Also, what a fun packaging for the tofu ;D I have never seen anything like that!
That wrap looks great Rose! I finally tried Tofu after watching your "How To Cook Tofu Like a BOSS" video - eat it often now! Do you ever eat tempeh or make any recipes with it?
I'm not sure that I remember any videos from Rose with tempeh, but Caitlyn Shoemaker aka "From My Bowl" has some pretty tasty tempeh recipes. She does UA-cam and a blog!
Love this!! Would you ever consider adding a shopping list to your blog posts? I wanna make all of these and my cupboard & fridge are basically empty haha :)
Just found your channel and i love it! I hope i found it earlier. Anw for this menu can we put on fridge for meal prep too? And for how long it could stay in the fridge? 3 days top or? Thankyou rose. Keep inspiring!
I have never thought of grating tofu but wow, what a great concept :D I will have to give it a go! Also, wouldn't it be easier to just grate the carrot right after the tofu? Less utensils to be cleaned :D
Am curious about vegan diet, I want to try for a week just to see if my body change bec I'm suffering from overeating.😩😩😩😩What I need to avoid? Thanks a lot😘😘😘
@@jigga1017 You can make "tofu" from other beans! I haven't done it that much, but here's a recipe www.kqed.org/bayareabites/118116/diy-soy-free-tofu-yes-you-can-make-tofu-from-any-bean-youd-like It was a little more crumbly than I wanted, but perhaps that means I need to add more cornstarch. It should work similarly to tofu!
If u can't find smoked tofu, she has a fairly recent video for an easy smoked tofu recipe if u want to try to make some homemade! ..Or u can try marinating some extra firm tofu for something similar, hope that helps :)
Now we're talking- 500 calories is a reasonable low calorie dish :D I want no one to be eating less than that for a meal (unless he/she has to) Also, I've got the previous vegan bundle so I am not buying the next one, but I highly recommend it! A fantastic assortment of recipes, guides and most stories!
It's getting harder to find certain things because of this pandemic...never thought smoked tofu would be one of them! It's always sold out where I live, too. 😞
@@CheapLazyVegan Thanks so much! I really enjoy your videos and I actually make almost every recipe you post :) They are delicious! You've introduced me to Korean food and now I love it! I live in the Toronto area, but I've never been to Alberta. I can't wait to go to your cafe once we can travel more freely.
Ah I'm really disappointed to see this here - for me basing meals around numbers of calories consumed encourages such a damaging relationship with food. This is also something which the UA-cam Algorithm seizes upon - if I watch one calorie-focused video then I will start being recommended weight-loss apps and 'transformation' videos and other content which I have tried so hard to delete from my feed. I have really enjoyed your channel for the sheer pleasure that you take in vegan food, but for my own mental health i will have to unsubscribe
No disrespect, but as an Asian-Canadian who did you hang out with? Because you use a lot of Black, African-American affect when trying to come across as relatable and funny and that is disrespectful. We see it in commercials all the time and too many people use our characteristics for their personal gains while not giving props to us. Culture vultures... just saying it is disrespectful to American Blacks whom are constantly replicated but never duplicated.
"If you want to eat more, then you can eat more." That's good advice.

Hello Rose! Love your channel. These meals look scrumptious. And I will definitely try the grated tofu method for sure.
Hope you do! Thanks for watching :)

U should try making the filipino dessert called taho! Its basically silk tofu with like melted sugar and mini tapioca pearls. It’s really gooddd
So colorful and inspiring dishes❣️

The joy of a wfpb vegan diet! I can eat so much yummy food and not even have that many calories! Love love love!!!!!

Today, I tried the soba noodle bowl.
It was so good and easy. My daughter said it's a keeper!

They all look so tasty! With the tofu used in the wrap, was it cooked?
Such a pretty knife! Can’t wait to try these!

thank you for watching !
You can fake a panini by putting a pre heated pan on top of your sandwich 7 weighting it down with a heavy can.
Yummy! 😱😍
Love ur channel
Ooh the graded tofu reminds me of tuna
I cant find smoked tofu ANYWHERE anymore 😭 I guess they still have it in AB? I cant find it in BC at all for about 2 months.

they have it in asian supermarket! It's hard to find though. you can make your own - i have a recipe! : )
Sunrise Tofu in BC temporarily stopped production of smoked tofu during the pandemic 😭 I miss it so much
Love your voice!
I love how you eat so much soy. My main source of protein is soy in some form.
Sorry, your link to the recipes does not work! :(
What in that wrap made it 500 calories?!!
Nice recipes but I would never use soft tofu cause its consistency reminds me of salmon (EWWW) But firm tofu is bomb :)

Julienne peeler?....
these look SO amazing!! need those soba noodles rn lol also i need that pan, looks super nonstick!!
