I've always been against the mistreatment of animals but thought Vegan food would be to time consuming, expensive, not enjoyable. But these look so good I'm going to give a vegan diet a try.
Congrats on exploring a truly great way of eating. When I made the choice to go vegan I looked closely at what element might be the most challenging for me. For me, and many folks, it was cheese! So before I went in 100% I did a bunch of research online for subs. Like I checked out the highest rated vegan cheeses, slices, shreds, sauces etc. I learned how to make some good subs too. And after about a year, I found I was wanting it less and less. And fyi, most vegan cheeses are pretty high in oils (and consequently calories) thickeners etc. I now make a good saucy type that's generally on hand, make a med firm fermented type and purchase occasional slices when I want. I'm at year 4 now and love this way of eating.
So I'd suggest you prepare and educate yourself on what your challenge things may be and get pro-active about finding happy subs for yourself.
Happy eating friend!
@@sarahdee374 Thanks for the advice Sarah. I'm almost a week in now and it was fine for the first 3 days but has been a little tough today. I'm mostly eating salads and the pumpkin pasta dish that was on this vid. I also miss cheese 🤣. My biggest issue is with time as I'd eat alot of take away. I have prepared lunch but didn't today and struggled to find anything vegan.
@@halfbakedmunky5566 Thats not the case with me, I'm a chef and play sports so I'm used to red meat as the majority of my meal as it's quick and doesn't take much pre thought or time. It's going well so far but it's a big change.
@@daviddoran7705 there are a lot of great vegan cooks and chefs posting online and a lot have easy recipes, here are few of my favorites, in addition to Rose's: The Happy Pear, Buddhist Chef, Avant Garde Vegan, Edgy Veg, Monson Made This. It's almost endless. I find salads get old quickly. I need more satiating meals. I'll print a recipe (I'm an older person and do like hard copies-lol) and then weekly try to buy ingredients for one or two new recipes. If you can't find some ingredients locally between Amazon, IHerb and Vitacost I can almost always find what I need. Also Asian grocery stores often have some things. Enjoy your new adventure!
@@sarahdee374 Thanks again Sarah I'll check those online recipes out. I'm in Australia so we don't have those supplies but I think I just need to get more organised with my weekly shop.
While im vegetarian, not vegan, it always tends to be asian vegan recipes that end up my favorites. Im super excited to try these.
It's easy to be vegan right? Not complicated at all 😊
I used to be vegetarian, around the time this comment was posted. 2 years vegan now 😁
I'm from Worcestershire and it's actually pronounced "Wusstershur"
I love that you keep your minor bloopers in lol it makes it so entertaining and makes me feel like I’m sitting in your kitchen and hanging with u ☺️
God, she's hilarious isn't she? I'm sitting here listen to her correct/question her own grammar (like she always does) and cracking up! She is just the most adorable thing. I had to come here to the comments and see if anyone else mentioned it. I just love her! 😍
In this context you can say carrot (as a non-count noun) or carrots. Either is correct.
English is strange. Carrots are good 🥕😊
I’m not a vegan yet... but your content is truly inspiring. I love the simplicity & educating that a vegan lifestyle is NOT complicated as most think.
I make a chilled couscous salad. It has Kalamata olives, bits of yellow bell paper, grilled zucchini and tomato. I dress it with a Greek style (vegan) dressing with lots of oregano and lemon. When I take it to potlucks I never bring any home.
that sounds really good!
Yummm 🤤
Peanuts instead of beans might also work for protein in the veggie udon noodles (for those who can't eat beans). What do you think? It could add some crunch! 🍲
I was thinking the same, some peanuts 🥜.... yummy
The beans threw me off tbh. Crushed peanuts on top would be bomb.
7:10
Just setting a time stamp fo myself😋
You're the MVP, thank u
You are one of the very few authentic youtubers i know
For the Edamame garlic butter pasta, I'd use miso paste and lots of toasted sesame seeds too.
yummmm! I ran out of toasted sesame seeds! so sad! LOL
I make yakisoba and my kids love it!
The 3 ingredient burgers are amazing!! I did add finely diced onion and too much oil but it was a big hit with kids too! Love your channel!
Those recipes look great and are not boring. I will definitely have to try them and be a Cheap Lazy Vegan😆. It was weird that the store ran out of green/spring onions, it should be illegal.
thank you! and yes, how can they even function as a grocery store without green onions?! LOLLL
Rose, you should do a mukbang with your Mama with foods from your cafe :)
That yaki udon tho omg 🤤
Listening to you while you whip up something in your kitchen makes me smile and chuckle. Your humor is a gift. Thank you.
These look great. I'm going to give these a try. I have been thinking about switching to a Vegan diet for a while but didn't know where to start.
okay i just made the burgers and whaaaaaat???? I've been missing out for so long!!! I'm a diehard Jack Monroe fan and have been making the 9p burger for years but this...might replace it. The few extra cents is WORTH IT these burger patties are SO GOOD. Please everyone make them. So easy and cheap you really have no excuse. Thank u.
I used black beans, spices, oats, and BBQ sauce like your patties, and OMG!! Da bomb.com😀 Delishious, ty for the burger 🍔 recipe.
These all look outstanding and super comforting just in time for winter. Thank you!!!
I really love your quick dinners and snacks. I’m a lazy/busy vegan too and these are so appreciated! Thank you!
I love your videos and lately am binge watching them. Thank you for alllllll of these awesome food options.
I ❤️ your recipes and fun way of presenting them. Thanks & keep it up! 😊
Rose, you are a spark of light in today’s world. ❤️
Your recipes always look so delicious Rose thank you sharing
Love you and your videos Rose
I always love your recipes! I’m Japanese so it’s easy to try them for me!! Thank you💕
Everything looks so delicious 🤤
All look great, I must try them
Thank you kindly.
These look so delicious and simple!
Anything with noodles, we are game! But seriously all these recipes look amazing!
Cheap and lazy options. Thank you very much, Rose.
Your one of my favorite vegan food vloggers, your food is realistic and tasty!
Im not even vegan but those look awesome
Lovely recipes and love the change in make up and amazing mane❤️❤️❤️
This looks amazing I’m so excited to watch and try some of these!!:)
Yay hope you enjoy!!!
I love the dishes you're making. Because first, they're delicious. Second, these are ingredients you can buy anywhere and prolly already have at home! Soooo many channels use ingredients you can only buy in America or have to buy online bc they don't have it in stores in the first place. Also all the ingredients are used so frequently, I'm noooot about using one tsp of something super special and then never use it again.
"You might get a stomach ache" that's the voice of experience 😂🙈 (same 😅🤣) *wuss-ter-shear sauce. 😅
I dont think many people in the UK say wuster-shear, just wuster sauce.
I've never pronounced it as anything more than wuster sauce
This looks delicious and I want to give some of these recipes a try !!!
And i love cooking
'Cheap Lazy Vegan'. That name alone deserves a sub ✊
That green curry YEEEESSS!
I can't wait to try these!!
Vegan here. The chef's knife look awesome! My fave recipe is the burgers, it's amazing how you fit so much flavor into so few ingredients. Keep doing you.
These all look so good! I love you and your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm trying to find budget friendly simple vegan meals for the week or month. Wow super simple pattie!
That burger looks so good! Awesome recipe ideas.
I've wanted to be a vegan for quite a while now, but I thought being a vegan is just eating fruit and nothing else but coming your channel today I'm really inspired... I'm starting my vegan journey😊😊 thanks very much for all these informative videos
The Yaki-Udon is actually pretty spot on! I like to use frozen (and then thawed again) tofu for any type of sir-fry dishes, which is something I learned from you, I think 😊
It's a great trick for making it firmer!
That looks delicious! The burger omg! So simple and tastyyy 😄
You should try adding in kafir lime leaves into the green curry! It’s adds a ton of flavour
Those patties look so good!! 💗💗💗
This soy butter pasta is my new comfort food! It’s sooo good and it tastes like pasta with butter and Parmesan, which I used to eat all the time before I was vegan. Love!!! 💕
Why doesn't this channel have 1M subs already?! I love these videos so much thank you for entertaining and teaching us! :D
Great food ideas!!
Any thing with a noodles 🍜 =😋
I finally managed to finish the video.
Love Udon noodles! And now I'm craving curry!
I really want to try those bean burger patties, maybe as meatball replacements instead since I'm not so into burgers. Recently tried borlotti beans for the first time and they might have been the best beans I ever had!
I love your channel, I’m starting my vegan diet and sometimes I don’t know what to eat or make. Thank you 😁
I’ve had couscous in the fridge for forever and I didn’t know what to make it with. Now I have a recipe so thank you for this! These recipes are perfect for my weekend dinners since I never know what to make😅
😅👍
I would use a starch slurry to thicken that green curry sauce.
Could easily sub salsa for the pasta sauce. I'm thinking that would be yummy.
Omg great recipes!!
I have a couple of their knives and they are awesome!!!
These recipes look so good!
Also you and you green hair are so cute 😍
Pronounced Wusster sauce 😊 looks really good looking forward to making these! Thank you for sharing
I loved your cooking
The green curry looks delicious
Eveyrthing looks amazing! That kimchi burger and soy garlic butter pasta look amazing!
These look so good!
Yum burger looks great
Happy World Vegan day, thank you 🙏🏼 💜
measure garlic with your heart
Thank you
I should’ve eaten before watching this. Now I’m hungry
hahaha XD
😆🍝🍝
Omg now I find myself craving green curry 🤤
it's so good : )
That knife is at a great price!! I'm looking forward to getting it!!!
Thx Rose, for a tasty dish, the Yaki udon. I went for the Italia-Japanese fusion of Angel hair pasta & canneloni beans but I had to settle for garbanzo. I luv lo Mein & this dish reminds me of that Chinese meal.
You're so funny 😂. These looks great. Thank you.
I'm definitely going to make the Yakiudon recipe. Looks so good AND I have all the ingredients, yea!
BTW, I've been watching you for a while and just realized I never subbed. What was I thinking? Haha. So, long story short, I just subscribed!
You love garlic!! I love it...makes everything tastes amazing...
You're so funny omg loving your channel!!
As a UK resident it's pronounced Woostershire
Omg I remember making these burger patties when that video came out 😌
I live ur recipes 🥰
Rose I'm making your Yaki Udon right now!!😋
And your Kimchi burgers,Wow! I've got to make them another day
Thank you!
What are thé Kimchi burgers made of?
How do you grow green onions indoor?
When you cut your green onions from the store, leave about a half inch of white on the roots and either plant then in dirt or keep them in water that you change every day. The more sunlight they get the faster and greener they grow!!
Looks delish! What’s the first nonstick pan that you used?
Tried the burgers today. Idk why it was too watery but I added quinoa and note oat flour. It was so delicious!!
Loveeee Kimchi!!
You are always my favourite 🤤😁🌱🌾
What brand are your pans with the star pattern? I love them! Sorry if you've gone over this already, I'm late to the party! Love your content.....and your hair! 💚
Yay
I like using my instant pot for almost everything now, I wonder about making the Soy Garlic Butter Pasta in it? Using the saute step and once the is done add the pasta and finish cooking.... thinking of trying it.
Yum!
Yummmmmmyyyyyyyy!
Where did you get the pan with the unique pattern that you use to cook the soy garlic butter pasta? I've been wanting to get a new pan and that pan has always caught my eye :D
Thank you for ideas. Do you really have to use pasta sauce for patties? Can it work with other sauce?
Also if you’re too lazy, you can buy bagged coleslaw mix instead of chopping cabbage 😁
Wind producing so stand by for blast off
It's carrot because carrots refer to the plural in terms of sticks. If they are already cut up it would be referred to as the collective carrot so it's only 1.
