The Most Powerful Exotic Weapon Ever Made in Destiny 2 is about the exotic weapon Anarchy, an exotic weapon so strong that it deserves its own tale. Releasing in the Black Armory, Anarchy was nothing short of special. This exotic was featured alongside others in the armory like izanagis burden and Jotunn. This was apart of forsakens 2nd raid after Last Wish named Scourge of the past. This would go on to conquer multiple years and cement itself in history as Destinys most powerful exotic as well as Destiny 2's most iconic.

As much as I love Gally. Anarchy was on a league of it's own. Ad clear, mad DPS, gigantic total damage. It was insane
have u ever used witherhoard ? pretty insane dps and an total reserve dps which is highest ingame , espc. for a special ammo wepaon

@@MetroidPurples by its own anarchy wins ofc, however lets take an example with a specific setup (lets say starfire warlock), if you pair witherhoard and an autoloading rl you will get more dps with that than anarchy paired with anything else

I really miss season of the splicer. Breech and clear was the most fun meta I had with loadouts. Rocking grenade launchers for unstoppable mods was fun

Havent watched yet, can definetly tell you it will always have a place in my loadout even as a courtesy. Took me through so much in destiny and absolutely loved every time i shot it... also shoutout to bungie making such a good ornament for it that its now considered the canon look of anarchy in the community lol

I beg to differ when it comes to saying that gally was the best ever exotic in the game. Its reign in D1 was not very long where as the Anarchy was around for a very very long time. Anarchy Honestly deserves that title IMO.

Them year 1 exptics had some nice synergys when using its secondary or as a team. Ratking,mida and mini tool, sturm and drang
That season was the beginning hoard mode not hoard mode… but man the loot chase was fun… I miss the forge guns… I remember my second run of Scorge of the Past run getting anarchy and my clan mate was on his tenth run
It is honestly weird looking back cause I just remembered that when you’d start a new character you’d have to play through the red war and be started from ground zero and climb your way up to the 600s to do the forges which was torture

I remember getting anarchy on my second clear, and man it hasn’t left my inventory since, that thing will always be my favorite exotic, even now it just the most fun I’ve had w the game. Season of the splicer was the most fun 😭
It makes me immensely happy that you use music from Sonic Unleashed in your videos. Such a hidden gem for good music.
Anarchy has always been a favorite of mine, but when I needed it in literally every encounter and activity, I grew a little bored of it. Now it is in the perfect position imo (though a 5% dmg buff would be cool)
Man I love this gun. When I returned to D2 during Season of The Arrivals after I quit during black armory, my first priority was to get this gun. When I got it after like 15 runs, I was so happy. I finally felt like a pro

I remember the day before scourge was vaulted, me and a bunch of friends decided to try to get anarchy, i got it along with the sparrow
I got anarchy from my first ever raid clear with an LFG group, I didn’t know what it was when it first dropped, but as I slowly used it, it became the only heavy weapon I used.
I remember my first clear/Anarchy get. We had this "friend" of ours quit after he bitched/moan about us being incompetent, all the while he wasn't lining himself up right for DPS.
I lfg'ed a little bit after with a clan, and they helped me through the final boss, and one of them was currently up to 50+ clears and no Anarchy. Guy was super pissed to hear about mine drop that he left immediately. Good times.
I got it on my second run I got the sparrow on my first good times
Just got the rat king yesterday and I can't wait to get 5 dudes using them at the same time and see how powerful they can get

Anarchy + Breach and Clear was peak joy when I just started getting really into Destiny 2.
I remember getting my anarchy after my 42nd sotp, man I was so happy
7:42 that xol clip never fails to make me chuckle 😂
It took me 22 clears to get this damn thing. Then I got one for each of the next 3 clears. But yeah, it's my favorite exotic weapon in the game. It's so flexible and powerful. I love it!
I loved making triangle and rectangles all over the ground during strikes 😂 I remember I got anarchy on my 7th clear and had a friend who was 40 dry good ol destiny rng
I remember back when I got Anarchy, and was finally doing meta DPS, and was so happy.
Then Season of the Lost came out the next week.
I was just telling some guys in an LFG earlier to pick it back up. It’s totally useable right now, and it’s fun. I use it in totems and daughters and it WRECKS. ANARCHY BAYBEEEEE
The #1 thing that made anarchy so crazy strong was the fact of how ammo efficient it was for a massive total damage output. 2 shots did comparable damage to 1k and you had I believe 31 shots with double reserves. Sure its standard use is just adding 20k dps to what ever you're doing, but I always found its value in solo content against champions, which it is still incredibly good at. Stick the champ, stun it, and watch it fry with the ability to do it to like 15 other champs after without ever picking up a heavy brick.

I loved this weapon but now I don’t really use it as often and they are just better power weapons to use imo and not much use scenario
I still remember the day. Got tired of being a solo person. Joined a clan, got a few new friends to play with. And they ran me through "Scourge of the Past" for the first time ever. And my RNG was at 110%. Got both the exotic sparrow and the raid exotic on the very first run. I was afraid to get the clan boot right there knowing some of the members of the clan had spent 200+ runs without getting Anarchy. I was so happy :D

I much prefer we when anarchy was the top power exotic over galjahorn.
It was so cool how other weapons you had still mattered for boss fights. When compared to gahjahorn, where I just shoot shoot reload repeat.

It kinda makes me upset that almost every Raid exotic that I have can just be purchased now.. Anarchy, Legend of Acrius, Tarrabuh. Now the only unique raid exotics that I have is 1k Voices and Div.. they should've given players that had these weapons from the raid a special ornament or something.

Anarchy+Mountain top: GG
Ghorn and Anarchy are powerful in their own right, while ghorn was once just reliant on its damage, it got that and that and the ability to boost other rocket launchers. While Anarchy is almost a heavy version of witherhoard where you can instead of firing a ball of gloop you stick em with zappy mines which is really fun… but I don’t think anarchy is as viable as it once was, but could definitely make its return again some day.

Witherhoard is nothing compared to the might of Anarchy in its prime.
I want it back. Im fine with it doing less damage but give it slightly more reserves (21 shots would be perfect imo) and better ammo economy. Getting 2 shots per brick is rough.
Both gjallarhorn and anarchy stood at the top of their primes in the meta and I hope anarchy can be made viable again if they do buff it up just enough.
It was the coolest exotic ever and rightfully the best. It’s good the meta changed since lost. I think it does and should get a big buff or a rework, like the more grenades you stick the more the dps ramps up after three grenades the damge could ramp up exponentially to compete with the best dos heavies. That way it won’t be crazy ammo efficient for bosses but also won’t hamper the add clear potential. Besides ghorn, whisper and soon the 1k rework and rockets and lfrs have brought a lot of competition so A buff to anarchy I think is fair, preferably damage

I was using anarchy on Caitl in the Duality dungeon the moment it was disabled by bungie. No matter what heavy I replaced it with it still looked like I was holding anarchy. Try hitting crits with a linear fusion when it has anarchy ADS reticle lol not easy. I had to restart destiny to fix the problem.

Ghally may have been amazing, I think most of us can agree that Anarchy took that spot, but imo, it’s not that good anymore since they nerfed the ammo and damage. And I absolutely loved season five, so I’ve kept a etched eververse engram from season five on my warlock and I still have it.
Anarchy is D2's most iconic exotic, and it was/still is the best, its the perfect package. Ultimate ad clear/crowd control, dps being out of control. I remember using Anarchy with Double Slugs on Taniks, and while many were getting at least a mil, I was putting up like 2.5 mil with it and I loved it.
I would say telesto is D2’s most iconic exotic, and for all the wrong reasons 😂

I'd say anarchy, ikelos smg, and literally any special kinetic weapon with warmind cells was the strongest build in the game since it worked in every activity. But definitely anarchy double slug was insane for bosses. I wish we could go back. To that meta. But season 14 was a great send off.
That’s why I will live and die by saying that season of the splicer was so fun. Anarchy, Ikelos smg with warmind build, and blinding nades ignition code. So fucking fun to use and could be used even in gms

Anarchy was an iconic time in destiny there wasn't a weapon I wanted more in d2 than anarchy. It was basically the gally of destiny 2 when it came out
All this talk about Anarchy reminds me of black armory weapons. Still can't bring myself to dismantle them in my vault
I don`t think is the most powerful exotic, but the meta it generated around it was very strong. It felt strong .

I hope they bring back anarchy to the meta. I loved anarchy, it was just such a fun gun to use, and yes, witherhoard is just as fun and arguably better than anarchy is now overall, but i miss anarchy, i loved that gun SO much
Gally will always be the best in my opinion. You literally needed it to do Skolas pre nerf back in D1. It's also more iconic IMO.

Galley and anarchy are the two best exotics in their prime ever created. Galley literally was devastating and anarchy just wasn't fair. You just literally shoot two shots and run away
