For anyone who would like to know, binary is either a 1 or 0. 1 means include this value, 0 means ignore this value. 1 digit is called a bit. The rightmost bit in a string, or group seperated by a space, has a value of 1. The value doubles everytime you move left. If a bit has a 1, you add its value to the value of all other bits displaying 1. So 0101, bit value 8 4 2 1, is 5, as you add 4 to 1.

I'd say running through the Ascendant Plane version of the Leviathan for the Bad Juju in Destiny 2 was pretty fun. Especially that last encounter with the music and the weapon's bird skull looming overhead. Feel like if we lose the Bad Juju again that it'll become a full blown raid boss or something.
Well, after Beyond Light the whole mission got new meaning. Final boss was "Siriks, loyal to... Eramis" - Eramis was collecting all of the Rasputin tech and darkness thingies (Cruxes, Clovis Bray tech, even making a Fallen Exo, and long before it all happened... she found one of the last (or the last) working SIVA generator casted in Outbreak Prime and Siriks was the one to steal it, when we killed him, we got our hands on Outbreak Perfected... What would Eramis do with the SIVA? probably we'll never know.
Watching this brings back the memories of grinding this mission for days. Makes me sad that people can just unlock it now from the tower. Wish they would have just left the quest in.
I still remember when I got it with fireteam. Took a month of perfecting the path and weapon loud out. Once we completed it, it was party time. Thank you for the history behind it.
Personally my favorite quest and exotic was the No time to Explain, I remember playing through the paradox mission and thinking something was off about it, like there was gonna be secret, when i caught whispers of there being a secret I got that quest as fast as possible and began it and it took me a LONG time but one I got it, it was never coming off.
I remember having my phone with a picture for 1-6 out reading the binary for the columns calling out where players needed to jump. Wrath is my favorite D1 raid
Thanks for making this video! Zero Hour is one of my most favourite activities in the game, both on a gameplay level, but also the wider ramifications of working with Mithrax. I'm almost at my 300th run through normal & heroic, having helped so many get the gun and catalyst, and this was a really nice way to appreciate the mission on a deeper level!
I remember getting Outbreak Prime in D1 and swore I would never help another soul acquire it after the headache and stress that the quest caused. Then onto D2 when I was going for Perfected I fell in love with the mission, the tower, the enemies, the strategy aspect of it. I eventually started running my clan mates and friends through it since i had run it through so many times and had memorized it front to back. I never bothered getting the ship and dealing with the bit at the end though. Some frustrating memories at the start of it all turned into fun ones, especially after I had run everyone in my raid group through that didn't have it. Fun times for sure after that. Going into raids with Wells and obliterating bosses haha. Then the nerf hit and it was still a super great weapon to use. If my PS4 hadn't died I probably would still be looking for people to run it with. I actually miss being timed on it. Hands down, BEST mission out of either game to this day in my humble opinion.
These videos of yours are clearly born out of love and passion. I can't even imagine how fucking long these take to make, but the end result is well worth it. I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one I've watched. So much nostalgia and feels. Great job, you definitely earned a subscription from me.
For me, Destiny was the game that really punched me into the gaming world, and it makes me sad that... i can never experience D1 again, from day one. I Would pay anything to do it. Meet those friends, those raid mates and ToS sweats. I Would love to see myself get the Gjallahorn from VoG chest again, shit i would pay anything just to play VoG again. D1 was special... and not only for me, but for the whole community.
I just started playing Destiny and the Whisper quest was insane at least the jump puzzle. I had a blast doing it!! This looks insane though! Can’t wait for Destiny 3
I played D2 when it first came out for awhile then life got in the way, just started back again and getting pretty much all these new quests and story lines can make make me feel overwhelmed, especially being a Destiny day 1 player, but you explain everything perfectly, thanks man! Your videos are awesome and have kept me plugged in even from afar ♥️
I remember I was lucky enough to get it early on. Whenever I'd do WoTM with my raid team they'd hate me for having the ship as none of them had it. Good times 😂
yeah too bad it sucks, the last word and thorn should have gotten more attention imo just based on the lore, their quests were freaking boring…. d1 had soo many good quests, too much time spent on micro transactions probably... maybe why the game shipped unfinished and is now free to play... wtf bungo
Dang, didn't you help me with Zero Hour? If it's you, THANK you, I always wanted to do the binary in D1 but I didn't have a lot of friends to even beat the raid with, so thank you.
I remember reading for my team in the diamond room and coordinating where they needed to go and it was solidified as one of my favorite moments in gaming ever
You know... Perfected is by far one of my favorite weapons. And I have only my friend to thank for telling and walking me through the quest, they are truly POG. I didn't get Whisper from it's quest though
I dont think they planned this during D2 launch as they told that the only way that mission was possible was due the fund they got from the sale of all the WOTW ornaments
@@TheUA-camTick well, I don't think the mission itself was intended for that basement. But this open basement with an invisible wall infornt of it surely had something planned for it
Drang and Sturm are special to me, me and some friends pulled an all nighter, they saw the whole adventure through, having to get an exotic engram and all the other steps. They're also some of my favorite weapons in Destiny, mainly aesthetics wise, but switching from one to the other and landing some nice headshots is ultra satisfying. Plus the overcharged Sturm shots hit like a truck.
The music at 6:05 just reminds me how much every part of d1 just went so well. That song at the boss was amazing. D2 raids still don’t compete. If last wish had better music maybe.
I am so sad to see that I missed so much of the details becaus I barely got to play D1 (Had no Ps) and didnt pay enough attention in the earlier days of D2. Never knew that this was a story setting up Beyond Light

theses vids hit hard after the mass sunset/content vault. hope were able to experience stuff from pre-pyramid d2
I still remember when I got it with fireteam. Took a month of perfecting the path and weapon loud out. Once we completed it, it was party time.
Thank you for the history behind it.
00:13 Well this aged like fine wine
Personally my favorite quest and exotic was the No time to Explain, I remember playing through the paradox mission and thinking something was off about it, like there was gonna be secret, when i caught whispers of there being a secret I got that quest as fast as possible and began it and it took me a LONG time but one I got it, it was never coming off.
Exotic quest then:
Exotic quest now: find 10 things on small area, and get the gun.
Not every quest has to be like those quests. It takes time and effort to develop these kind of quests. That's why there is less of these.
@@noman1122 but did you get to hear shaxx sing in the others?
Bungie:
How do you feel about hexagons?
bastion : take it or leave it -
Now everything is kill enemys but crucible provides more process, then next step is kill guardians in crucible
Goodbye Zero Hour. You were a great mission for a great weapon!!
Datto: lets get this gun. The quest: I’m about to end this mans whole career
These videos of yours are clearly born out of love and passion. I can't even imagine how fucking long these take to make, but the end result is well worth it. I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one I've watched. So much nostalgia and feels. Great job, you definitely earned a subscription from me.
Me when that OG D1 music played:
🥺
For me, Destiny was the game that really punched me into the gaming world, and it makes me sad that... i can never experience D1 again, from day one. I Would pay anything to do it. Meet those friends, those raid mates and ToS sweats. I Would love to see myself get the Gjallahorn from VoG chest again, shit i would pay anything just to play VoG again. D1 was special... and not only for me, but for the whole community.
Well I have some news
I hope bungie makes more of these types of missions. I fine with knowing exactly what I'm getting in each season but a secret wouldnt hurt as well
We are due for one of these quests in couple of months. Lets hope there is one this year as well.
Imagine if the ship was the Nanopheonix. Then the ship would have been worth it.
Lol it was such random change to get it. Someone on my raid team got it after her 2nd run. I after my 20th or something
Neo Sharkey that would’ve made so much more sense, or even some other SIVA looking ship
I remember I was lucky enough to get it early on. Whenever I'd do WoTM with my raid team they'd hate me for having the ship as none of them had it. Good times 😂
"titans you guys wouldnt be getting this one done fast though" lmaoo
I've seen a lot of Gjallarhorn reactions...............but that was truly something out of this world. 10/10 would react again.
i also love how they added mithrax back in season of the splicer as an ally just like he was before, really nice addition to the season
His excitement at getting Gjalahorn took me back. I remember my moment well. Mine came from the Devils Lair strike.
Wasn't even that long ago, but god damn I felt some heavy nostalgia. This was such a great moment being a part of this community.
yeah too bad it sucks, the last word and thorn should have gotten more attention imo just based on the lore, their quests were freaking boring…. d1 had soo many good quests, too much time spent on micro transactions probably... maybe why the game shipped unfinished and is now free to play... wtf bungo
"Edge transit is a weapon..."
Me: Aight im out😂
Love these vids👌👌👌
I love the legacy of this weapon. It has come so far.
Dang, didn't you help me with Zero Hour? If it's you, THANK you, I always wanted to do the binary in D1 but I didn't have a lot of friends to even beat the raid with, so thank you.
@@LuigiXGamer ❤️
I remember reading for my team in the diamond room and coordinating where they needed to go and it was solidified as one of my favorite moments in gaming ever
You know... Perfected is by far one of my favorite weapons. And I have only my friend to thank for telling and walking me through the quest, they are truly POG. I didn't get Whisper from it's quest though
2 min in and I’m already teary eyed. #nostalgia
Just want to say this now..
I KNEW that basement in the Farm was gonna be used for something since the Beta!
I dont think they planned this during D2 launch as they told that the only way that mission was possible was due the fund they got from the sale of all the WOTW ornaments
@@TheUA-camTick well, I don't think the mission itself was intended for that basement. But this open basement with an invisible wall infornt of it surely had something planned for it
S. D. Well the door was closed before this, but some people found a way to glitch in
Back then it was only the entrance area, not an entire basement
@@jjwang7597 that's what I meant when I mentioned the invisible wall
@@TheUA-camTick wotw?
6:12 best reaction to Rahndel I've heard. "Kill his ass" he says. XD
The OBP D1 quest is still the dopest quest in Destiny history. So much fun cranking it out for a couple days with my friends
Favorite exotic quest has to be Ace of Spades on D2. That last mission is the best mission in the whole damn game
U obviously didn't do this quest, or touch or malice
@@matmobu6957 lol why you say that? I'm talking about the one in D2, i didn't play the first game
Never knew that this was a story setting up Beyond Light
im a brand new player to this game and still have no clue how all works and what the hell im doing, but somehow this video made me follow you and i like how you tell every little detial and the way you tell the storys... man this is just great and yes its a year old now this video, but still, i just wanted to say it ^^ thanks for you stuff dude.... ^^
I remember watching Datto live. Good times.
Really enjoyed the No Time To Explain exotic quest.
Mark Capestro facts that was pretty good too
Yo, that paradox mission. The dialogues... The feeling with Praedyth... Destiny is just beautiful man.
@Isaak Well you can still play it so...
Evenf: “I challenge you to go face Trevor!”
Yah about that
Still can't believe they revealed Mithrax and Eramis this early.. Just goes to show that bungie has some *very* talented writers.
I love how everything comes back to Gjallarhorn. Gjallarhorn is the start of everything
My favorite was whisper for sure due to the ominous feeling of darkness and despair it brought
Is nobody gonna realize the fact that he called titan a moon of Jupiter and not a moon of saturn
Is nobody gonna realize the fact that this is the superior profile pic?
It is superior
Yes
I swear every time destiny is kinda slow Bungie just flips the table and yells screw it
"What does red mean?"
"IT MEANS WE'RE DEAD!"
...I had no idea that puzzle for the ship in Zero Hour existed. I got my Outbreak, got the catalyst in Heroic, but...never even heard of the puzzle.
Datto’s annoyed groan when he saw the Fallen Transponder numbers is priceless.
