    Could you also do a hip toss in that same set up?

    • @KOLATCOM
      @KOLATCOM  10 місяців тому +1

      No, you can't hit a hip toss from the 2 on 1 because you can't back step when you're hips are outside the arm. This spin goes in the opposite direction.
      Here is a sag headlock that works from from there when you transition across. ua-cam.com/users/shorts_lJ0sorts8Y

    When would you use this instead of the standard lateral drop?

    • @KOLATCOM
      @KOLATCOM  8 місяців тому +1

      This is a different skill than the lateral drop. The lateral drop involves an over under chest to chest position trying to get your opponent to lean in for a hip pop throw. If someone does not want to tie up with an over under you can still attack the 2 on 1 to setup a lateral spin. The lateral spin skill is similar to the foot work and motion of the under arm spin which is the opposite direction of a back step. Instead of turning and hitting your opponent with your hips for a lift you are turning under the arm and rolling your opponent up as you spin down the body.

    Just found out about your channel last night when i searched lat throws and now im gonna buy a Grappling dummy and become a beast. The lat throw alone will win 10/10 fights since literally all street fights well to untrained ppl consist of one maybe two punches max until they start to hold each other looking for a headlock. ,(heavy emphasis on hold eachother and not grapple because that would mean they would know what they are doing which they don't ) .
    Also when did it become a thing to automatically look for the headlock and not throw hands judt straight punches in bunches is the ufc to blame for this?

  • @NWLMAMMAL
    @NWLMAMMAL Місяць тому +1

    Unrelated; what is chest to chest called. Some say a cloth and some say chest to chest but what is the official name? (The pin where you hook the head and the arm from the side and use your hips to fight any bridging force)
