Where are the takedowns from the 2 on 1?
In his Amty head hhh he not holding the arm correctly. Not 1 normal wrestler let's you hold arm like this.
If you walk your hips in there’s not much an opponent can do about it. A high 2 on 1 is a thing. 2 on 1 is a major position, with an enormous number of variations, not the ‘just hang on his arm and try and muscle him to the mat’ you learned in high school.

Why do other countries use this tie but USA use this tie very little?
American style was always heavy on being aggressive which meant more snaps and more focus on collar ties moving the head etc.
Because the 2 on 1 in the US is taught as one thing ‘get the arm and hammer him down’ rather than a major position. TLDR: too many high school coaches saying ‘Aw, just shoot the double!’
