I never paid attention to this song and thought it mediocre in its original and other incarnations (including Celine’s). Until I heard the late great Laura Branigan sing it.

I watched this when it aired, and loved it then, as I do now. I also enjoy watching the couple up front as they see and hear Laura’s vocal range of such a fantastic song. At one time, the young man glances over to his young lady friend beside him, and smiles, to what I’ve so much always assumed, amazement! Every part of this video makes me wish I’d been there myself. In my opinion there will never be anyone that has a voice that’s so instantly recognized and enjoyable! I’m so thankful to have grown up in that timeframe and to have such beautiful memories captured to enjoy forever. ❤️

Seeing/listening to Laura Branigan at a 1985 County Fair Concert 🎶 is 1 of my most cherished memories of this lifetime. ~ She was absolutely adorable 🥰 and a very gifted female 🎶 singing Artist! 🎭 This guy truly misses her; Karen Carpenter; and now Olivia Newton-John. ~ All 3 are akin to being a Goddess! 🗣 🎶 💗 💘

I must add, thank you for restoring this! Beautiful job! I watched the others of this very often, and this one everyday since I found it. I have it on VHS. I’ve always loved it, everything about it. I know this will probably never happen but wish someone would do a video with the three music artists who sung the song (comparison music styles) even though the time differences (years) are small in the 80s and then a big leap into the 90s with Celine Dion's cover version for a new generation to fall in love with the song
