I like that you dont have to trade for evolutions. I loved Abra but never used it back in the day because of that.

I nabbed an early alpha haunter in my first space distortion and you bet I traded all my merit points for one of those cables. She is MASSIVE as Gengar! Named her Aubergine and she has been on my team ever since 🤣 She is coming close to level 90 and is my go-to in a pinch. I love this game. Been milling around the first 3 regions, taking my time and filling the dex and generally enjoying the slower pace. My team levels range from 30 to near 90, as I swap in newer catches and work through their dex requirements. I'm in no hurry and feel no pressure to rush through the story. That's a feeling I haven't really had since BoTW. I hope they do more historical versions of other games, or port over some game mechanics to main titles going forward 🤞🏻
When I started playing I managed to find three Eevees. I'm loving this game!

@@FredlundJR in the same spot where you find normal Eevee. I just got lucky and found one. Evolved it into Jolteon.
The best way to win is just do go to any land so stay there and move to the next land
So many good Pokemon available if you're willing to explore which I appreciated
Exploration is one of the best things about this game its so great
Drifloon is especially useful against the trainer with the Munchlax on the bridge that gives you access to the next part of the fields. It knocked my starter out in two hits, but my Drifloon had no issue thanks to hypnosis and actually did more damage.
Shout-out to the shiny Abra I found that immediately teleported away.

I think you forgot to include the classic sinnoh pokemon Shinx. Shinx was extremely good for me back then, I used a shiny Luxray which proceeded to carry me in a lot of battles. For example, it was a level 60 against a level 70 Goodra. I thought I was doomed until RNGesus blessed me with the full paralysis turns for Goodra because my Luxray used Thunder Wave. Not only that, but Luxray proceeded to lower Goodra's defense twice with crunch and finish it off with a crit ice fang. Genuinely a memorable time to me.
I caught a monferno in the second area where you set up a base camp for first time (not the starting area). Then I sorta accidentally found a chimchar, didn't even need the bibarel trick to get to some island for chimchar so that made me very happy.
After a few days, finally found a shiny shinx, it feels like finding shinies is a tad easier in this game.
Chimchar/Monferno should be easy. Follow the suggested path from the Heights camp to the berry tree out on that ridge IN THE NIGHT TIME. If you don't see either one anywhere along the way, fast travel back and return to the village, then rinse and repeat. Don't anyone out there be going without your Chimchar a minute longer than you have to.
I just used the one you get from the quest then benched it for the alpha infernape
infernape, goodra and overqwil will hard carry you through pretty much the entire game. the only other mon i would say is a must have on your primary roster is electivire because of how versatile it is. it can learn a pretty absurd amount of powerful moves from most types in the game. P.S. overqwil is king of one shots.

Best early one for me was Kadabra. Got a Lv 17 when my pokemon were barely Lv 12. Currently using Dewott, Kadabra, Staravia and Scyther.
Where do you find Scyther? I’ve been looking for one
I found a shiny Shinx during my second trip to the field 😅
Also I found the surprise you mentioned at the island… Alpha Infernape!!

When I was growing up, I loved Chimchar, and after a few years in middle school, I pulled a Holo Infernape so this definitely helps!

Another really good tank you can get early on is Shelos to evolve into Gastrodon. I've got a shiny Gastrodon on my team, and it's such a good tank. Especially since it's typing makes it only weak to grass while resisting so much. It's my go to Pokemon for catching in distortions

Finally, a video talking about how to get chimchar. I thought i was high when i found and caught monferno on the northern tip of that stantler mountain at 3:30AM
I'll be playing again later and i'm excited to get a magicarp as that's the only pokemon on this list i haven't caught yet.

I use all alpha team of Gengar, Alakazam, Garchomp, Torterra, Empoleon and Infernape. Found them all early while looking for eevees. Team took me through whole game and you can buy skills for them in town they'd never normally have
I love eevees Ima be so happy if I can get one as one of my first 3 mons
I found an eevee in the first 30 minutes! Couldn’t believe I got my main Pokémon Umbreon at the start
My end game team was:
Alphas: Garchomp, Blissey & Snorlax
Regulars: Infernape, umbreon & Sylveon.
This team man handled the game specially REAL the final trainer minor spoiler. Snorlax and Blissey were the MVPs against him.
I think that all this information is very interesting.

Just found an alpha shiny gyarados today in the fieldlands right after backsniping a togekiss out of the sky. This game has been a wonderful surprise
I was shocked my eevee had the mark to evolve and without items of any kind he evolved into umbreon.
Did you evolve it at Night?
@@Reptar01 come to think of it yeah. Night in the village. I was used to the old way I guess. Never used any eeveelutions except in Gale of darkness on the GameCube.
Yeah if you get to I think level 15 (at least it was for me) and you evolve an eevee in the night it will become umbreon and if you do it in the day you’ll Espeon ! If the Eevee has baby doll eyes as a move you’ll get a Sylveon. The rest need items I believe

You also can find Shellos very early. Just go to Sandgem flats very end section
If you follow the Will-o-the-wisp request you get a guaranteed chimchar.
I'm actually doing a soul link with my friend and he found 2 full odds shinies in the first 20 minutes (a wurmple and an alpha luxio)

I am still in what this video considers early game as I have yet to do the boss or even get the ride pokemon and I only have 4 star rank and I only started the game about a day ago.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is different from the past Pokemon games which is still good but right now I still have the biggest question 🤔is when will Pokemon Brillant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl have the fourth update patch so we can finally used the Wonder Trade and Global Trade Station (GTS). I know there's Link Trade but Wonder Trade is the most important part of the games and makes it a lot easier, I don't know why they're not added to the games before released back in November but I'm guess that with Pokemon Legend Arceus release that they wanted wait a bit longer before it's finally updated but I'm hoping it'll happen at the start of February because I'm getting fed up of waiting and because be worth it🤞. As for Pokemon Legends: Arceus I will planning to buy the game in the future after watching some UA-cam videos to get some ideas to what to expect in the game.

How do you get trade evos by yourself? Lol plus my first magikarp was lvl 55 alpha lol couldn’t use it for ages
There is a special item that lets it evolve on the left of the galaxy building but you need special credits and have to find lost satchels for the point

You're in luck because cyndaquil's evolutionary line in this game evolves into a fire/ghost type and you can catch a drifloom pretty much right off the bat.

im just saying the first line about how you find pokemon is a bit silly because pokemon are found basically the same you can just see them in the overworld i dont know what you mean the og games were on certain routes and or even grass patches and not 1 single route always while this game is exactly the same just you can see them in the overworld
I still don't understand why people consider fairy types so good as I can only think of 3 dragon type pokemon that I would use a fairy type move over an ice or dragon type move as they are 4 times weak against it. Think about how many dragon type pokemon are 4 times weak to ice type moves.
Why catch a Magikarp when right there on the mountains in the [Worn Bridge] there is a whole Gyarados flying around in circles? Just saying

I am 13 hours into the game and never saw a single eevee I went to the spot and never saw it I restarted the clock like 7 times I went at morning and midday and nothing

Take a nap in the tent till morning or midday and it should reset the in game clock

@@SunriseRss I recommend choosing "day" and "nighttime"
Kill the bidoofs (perfect for grinding low level pokemon while you are doing this)
Ignore the drifloons, they disappear during the day
Day, check, doof kill, night, check, doof kill,
And throw Oran berries to move Eevee into position and bidoof away...if you are lucky you might get two, just (B) in the grass, get them to go close to the grass with an Oran Berry and use an Oran thrown further away to get it to turn it's back on you
If you only got good rolls and did things correctly it would be 9 resets to get every eevee needed to get everyone... but you won't be that lucky
You might also get an alpha while waiting

An easier way of catching Eevee is going to that spot in video if it's not there return to village then head back as it resets the spawn I caught all 8 Eevee needed for evolution in 20 mins including an alpha that spawned in! 🙎♂️

Really sick of the stupid gimmicky evolution methods lately. Like damn can’t we go back to evolution items?? Nothing new requires stones now. And then you end up with issues like wyrdeer that now can’t evolve outside of PLA as far as I can tell. Which means they’ll have to change the method like I’m guessing they did with Galarian yamask.
