- Pokemon Legends Arceus Is officially released, and in this video we go over the top 10 tips you need to know before you start your journey in this amazing pokemon game!
Discover the Hisui region, Jubilife Village, and the characters of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Your adventure is set in the expansive natural majesty of the Hisui region, in an age long ago when it was rare for people and Pokémon to live in close harmony. In time, this land of Hisui will come to be called Sinnoh-a region you may know well.
Mount Coronet rises from the center of the Hisui region, surrounded on all sides by areas with distinct environments. Each area is rich in its own natural features and plays host to different Pokémon ecosystems. One such area is the Obsidian Fieldlands, which is resplendent with gorgeous flowers and verdant vegetation-what’s more, it appears to teem with Pokémon that favor meadows and forests.

Released the video a day early on accident.. but the embargo is currently lifted so ill keep it live..game still releases on the 28th in the US
I was going to say i was in town today and its not out till tomorrow LOL!, i wont be watching just wanted to like and comment for the algorithm, hope i get it tomorrow
xD seen you changed the title as well
There called Effort Levels.
@@Mus1kkr1t1k yeah i think i called it grit? I blsme the fever u had whej recording lol
It’s a Great video by the way, very informative.
Basically the Leaden Balls has a potential of giving blunt force trauma to unsuspecting pokemon to increase the catch rate
🥲
What do gigaton balls do to an unsuspecting Pokémon?
Another pro type I just learned was every time you release a Pokémon you get random grit dust or gravel or pebbles
Appreciate all the tips!
I was relieved to realize that getting a complete research level doesn’t actually mean checking every single one of those boxes haha.
Also the farm thing was appreciated, no one else has talked about the farm
Me too I literally didn’t even realize that I was finished with some Pokédex entries for side quests for a minute and I was thinking how tedious it was and I felt dumb when I figured it out
Same
If you care about shiny then It is still worth to go past “complete” (lvl 10) as the next level is “perfect” which SIGNIFICANTLY improves your chance at shiny Pokémon at least do this for your favorite species! :)
@@okkipooky8612 hell yea you are right, I learned that from another video. So far I perfected scyther and scizor only haha. In terms of shiny I really want, electrode is top of my list
About the grit: there's also Grit Rock that takes the EV from 9 to 10 (the max). The things can be obtained, as you said from capturing and defeating Pokémon, but also by releasing captured Pokémons; yo can also exchange 10 of one type to the next level (dust to gravel, for example) at the lady in the Training camps.
Also, about the wood, Scythers drop wood, maybe other mons too (IDK).
Honestly Tag your video is the only one that actually got me excited for this game! It looks fun and I love all the little things that you can do in it. I hope this becomes a series so I can see you play this game
A little tip I found in gathering, you don't need the ride Pokemon to get to some places to get stuff.
Just throw your Pokemon up there and they will pickup the item for you.
It's almost like Link's boomerang.
I know it's not much but I thought it was cool to know and share.
These are great tips! I can’t wait to put them into practice when I start playing Friday!
Thanks for the tips! Can’t wait for this it seems pretty much like the game I dreamed of as a kid
Hi Tag, thanks for your first Video on this. The Tipp with the starters really helped me
So glad you did a video early!! Was waiting for your take on this game whilst my kid and I eagerly wait for it to release 🥰
Great tips as always, thanks Tag! Looking forward to seeing more!
Can't wait to get my hands on this!
Love the content Tag!
Thank you Tag!! Helpful tips as always.
Yay! I can't wait for this game. Submiting essay on the 27, and gettiing the game on the 28. Weekend plans here we go!
Thanks for all the helpful tips. Gonna come in handy. I can’t wait to play all weekend!
Yooo you are way to cute 0❤
Very helpful! And your voice is easy to listen to! Thanks for your tips!
Me - actively watching tons of arceus videos and previously watching all of Tags videos
UA-cam: nahhh, I won't show you this one or notify you about it.
Thanks for the great video Tag! Helpful tips.
im excited to see some actually useful tips to inform gameplay rather than just recaps of the announced features
I’ve watched so many reviews and tips videos and not one mentioned a farm! Your video sounds like you really take your time rather than focus on beating it first.
ooh. I like the aiming tip! I'm excited to get mine tomorrow! (hopefully) lol
For the grit powder, the best way I found is to release duplicate pokemon. You'll catch a lot you don't need, so release them. The more and higher level =more and better grit items
I just got this game and have been super hyped and watching starting tips at work for when I get off. Clicked this one thinking “I should probably watch a different type of Legends Arceus video ‘cuz all of these starting tips have been the same.” And then you mentioned farming and I’m like “…Why has no other video mentioned this?!?!”
I got my pre-order and it’s downloaded on my switch but I got to wait till Friday to play it. It won’t let me but these tips will help me out
You only have to wait until midnight tonight
So far it’s looking good. I am still trying to figure out how to do global trade when it comes to that. I am still grinding my Pokémon to get higher level. I already got 4 alphas, kriketune, bibarrel, graveler and golbat
I pre-order it a few week's ago and so cant wait it looks a beautiful game 😀😀
Loved the vid!
This will be my first Pokémon game (besides Pokémon snap lol) so I am very excited!
Fun tip you can throw your Pokemon quickly switch and throw another out up to 3 if your fast enough so you can just run past resources and your Pokemon will get them
Your don't fall out of the sky tip had me in stitches 🤣 its like you felt the pain of that fall 🤣🤣
FYI I do believe there is no time limit to the mass outbreaks it’s just a certain amount of pokemon, when it gets down to less than four are spawning then the outbreak will be over after those are gone
Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you for the tips and tricks on playing Pokémon, 1:09
Loved the tips and loved being called “lovely humans”
Can't wait to start shiny hunting in this game, it's gonna be really fun. The outbreaks of pokemon seems fun, but also kinda tedious, so I'm not sure how well it'll translate over to my actual gameplay.
Well I haven’t shiny hunted yet but already got 2 just around
@@Soul_404. every shiny i find it runs away ;-;
F in chat
My advice if u see a shiny
Turn off auto save
Save
In gage in battle
Don’t attack it
Use a poke ball (whichever is best for that Pokémon)
Use poke a ball again if it fails
Then u have a shiny
(Thank me later 😉) (I’m joking don’t thank me)
Cool thanks for the tips advice but I still have trouble catching aggressive Pokemon cuz they are always attacking me lol
I’m so excited for the release 😁
Worried a bit about the Ninjas as I think only some of the embargo was lifted :| Stay safe!
Great video and am excited to jump in Friday!
I THINK Typhlosion shouldn't've been shown, but I'm not sure.
How did you get such high level Pokémon so fast , when the game only just came out , and love the tips ?
I hope my preorder comes in Friday
One thing I wish I'd known at the start is to turn in your dex often early game. I stayed out in the field for a super long time my first time out, and I ended up finding a shiny Dustox in the Floral Guardens that I couldn't catch because I didn't have any stars on my dex yet.
im super excited to play this game and it looks good. thats being said, GRAPHICS. I'm still waiting for a pokemon game in the newer 3D style that really takes my breath away visually. I think it's definitely a step in the right direction though.
in regards to grit items, you can get easy grit by catching a bunch of pokemon and releasing them. the higher the level, the better and more grit items you get on release.
Can't wait to play pokemon arceus(it looks like the best Pokemon game)
Great video, loving this game. I just wanted to add to your information on the "mass outbreaks". They are not time sensitive. You do not have to be fast about it. The pokemon will spawn in groups of 4 or 5. You can take your time and when you don't see any more spawn after the forth you'll know the event is almost over. The amount that will spawn changes but you can take your time and catch/kill them how ever you please. Also make sure you save prior to doing the event just in case a shiny spawns and you mess it up. You can reload and it will still be there. 👍
You can get evolution stones from regular farming rocks. They don't need to be sparkling. All of the stones I gathered were not from sparkling ones. I'm sure the rare drop % is lower on non sparkling ones but the chance of the stone sparkling is low anyway so might as well gather all stones to increase chances of the drop
do you recommend it for a newcomer ? im a ps5 gamer just got my nintendo so idk i gonna like it or not
Now I know how to shiny hunt that Zorua, thanks.
That farm reminds me of the one from Pokemon Journeys with the diglett???
Supposedly if you complete all of the research tasks in their entirety for a species of pokemon that also ups the chance of finding shinies of that species.
His commentary is why I’m subbing lolz
The farm feature, I don't understand how it works. Is it base on IRL time or in-game time? It's a little bit a work to visit time to time if its already time to harvest or not.
RuffledRowlet just posted a video about how you can go back and forth under 60secs to Jubiife before getting close enough to engage the outbreak in order to reset the shiny roll without causing the outbreak to disappear. Seems like a legit, albeit rather involved method for shiny hunting
I'm about 8 hours in, and have been COMPLETELY doing all the research quests for each pokemon in the beginning of Obsidian flatlands, not realizing you only had to go to level 10
Thanks!
Great tips! Thanks Tag!!
Wow this game sounds so cool I’m going to get it
Nocturnal I hope they keep the same formula and bottle style but add gems that’s all it’s perfect the way it is
I've avoided your twitch streams cause I didn't want to get spoiled by the game, but this tips video was hype.
Glad you enjoyed it!
So if I wanna get a shiny charm I gotta complete the whole Pokédex or just their missions?
Is it only pokemon you can find in the wilds? How about some other habitats? I find it empty plain to be honest. I wish its not only pokemon you can see, but other things as well.
Great information by the way. Thank you for this! :)
If you go to the forest in real life, do you see all animals in one spot?
@@TheAlphaLucifer I wasn't talking about Pokemon to be put in one spot. I am talking about other things that we can see to make the world more vibrant and alive. Because all I see is only empty plains, nature looks so dull. There is so much potential in enriching the enviroment and not leave it in such a state, because that's the point of open world map. 🤔
If you give the farm an alpha they have special voice lines :) plus it's cool to see an alpha helping out the village
I saw that I gave my farm a dupe Alpha gen 4 full evolved starters
this is the best pokemon game sofar
thenit´s Black/White, platinum, XY, ORAS
hope they keep this type of the gameplay (farming, hunting pokemon on the field and not random battle, no EV:s and no Abilities)
Aww you named your Typhlosion after me!
Can't help myself but is it normal that leveling is that easy? I just beat the first guardian after 3 hours and my starter is lvl 40 while trainer battles are lvl 10?
"Wam. Bam. Thank you, ma'am." I wish you could assign catch phrases to your avatar, cause this would definitely be mine.
What do you do with all the tons of the same Pokemon you catched? Can you release them?
You can yes, and in bulk
I was wondering the same..... I dont need 20 Starly 😆😆
Thank you
Can someone help me on how to find a way to clear out your Pokémon inventory to get rid of lots of doubles etc then having to release them one by one
I wanna ask, how to activate the focusing thingy?
Now...Don't take my word on it to heart, but this is how I think the balls stack up.
Pokeball and Featherball have the same catch rate.
Great Ball, Heavy Ball, and Wing Ball have the same catch rate.
Ultra Ball, Leaden Ball have the same catch rate. Of course, the heavy/leaden balls must hit unsuspected to get the boosted odds, you get them earlier then the normal ball counterparts, but I think thats how it all works.
"That's a solid tip, don't fall out of the sky" 😂😂
Does that mean that you're actually recommending against the patented TagbackTV shortcuts? 😂
Don't fall in the water either..... 😆😆😆😆
This game looks amazing! I’ll have to buy it after I get paid
You have to catch at least one of a pokemon for it to start showing research levels, so catching is required.
How’d you do the thing with sneazel??
What do you think of the game in general? Cuz this is different to traditional Pokémon games
Its the future of pokemon
@@TagBackTv do you really thing this is a BIG STEP for POKEMON GAMES going forward?... I mean I dreamt once for a pokemon like this... but this is a SPIN OFF... I wonder what GEN 9 will be like if its like this....
@@erickreyes7902 PLA isn't a spin-off. It's, canonically, a mainline series game. So yes, regarding where this game stands and the decades-long same old Pokémon formula, Legends Arceus is a BIG STEP for Pokémon games. There is no going back.
@@bnewtz7492 well its still apart of SINNOH... so maybe a PREQUEL suits it right... but definitely a SPIN OFF...
@@erickreyes7902 its a prequel not a spin off
Are there specific pokemon that could gather more resources then others?
This might sounds dumb but can you soft reset to shiny hunt the starters but also what’s the sage point cause I assume you talk to the professor to pick but don’t you have to catch them
As mentioned in the viddo, starters are shiny locked. You can hunt for shiny starters post game
Hi, I'm struggling to level up Pokemon. I have my main 6 which are level 18-19 but all my other Pokemon are still at level 4-5. Should I move the lower levels to my main set and keep fighting wild pokemons? What is everyone strategy to this game? Do you level up all of your pokemon at the same time or just a couple at a time?
Theres almost no trainer battles what’s the point of leveling up so much
You never need to level up your whole collection. That’d be a lot of time to spend if you don’t find it fun! Concentrating on only a small group that you like using is fine; you only need to level up others when you want/need to change your strategy, or if you simply feel like it. Low-levels can catch up to the rest of your team through non-battle XP until they can help in a battle capacity.
@@SmileyTrilobite thanks for the reply. Ive now focused on filling the pokedex and collecting as many species as possible to gain stars. Ive been levelling and evolving the pokémon's that I really like as I think they'll be necessary to fight against raging wild pokemon. I think its good to have diversity of fire, water, grass, etc.
Is it only my soul that's suffered every time I saw Typhlosion without the flames ignited...
Me: wanting to watch the video
Also me: haven’t seen any of the new Pokémon yet
It seems we have reached an impasse
Game is a ton of fun I love playing it
Ima just go back and get the first areas Pokédex complete
Im still not sure if it will be worth it last Pokemon game i played was Sun
the graphics actually look so good??
Do you play a little bit of every game?
With the game officially released. Tell that to my Switch.
Would help if i could find the stupid arena to get flute to ride wyrrdeer. Dont know why Nintendo decided to make it so hard to find mission areas. 6 8 hours and still i cant find the arena.
No videos on you tube helpful in showing how to get to where the arena is either.
Typhlosion looking real sleepy or a little derpy.
I like how he got bit thinner (so less weight) but his speed stat went down 🤣
Wham-bam thank you ma’am
wtf u mean? i just started playing and got an eevee as my 5th or 6th pokemon, unless u mean ev or iv which idk what that is lol
Thanks for the massive spoiler at the very end guy. Very cool.
I’m getting annoyed with the inconsistency in the way this games graphics are being shown off before launch… do they look good like this or bad like the other half of the videos on the internet? If I buy the game and it looks like complete crap only to find out channels like this are somehow enhancing the visuals I’m going to raise hell.
If you finish all the tasks for research of a pokemon in pokedex you have increased odds of getting shiny pokemon for that pokemon.
Getting pure monster hunter vibes!
Is there no smaller map you can see while running around so you don’t get lost?! Oh no
To be fair you really don't NEED to craft anything. I beat the game on just buying everything I need by selling all the materials I found. Also stardust is everywhere.
My rocks, and trees have a purple colouring over them when I get near, did I buy a faulty game today?
Man this game looks like early-development, programmer art lmao like even if the systems are sound, I would rather replay the old 16 bit games cause they just have so much more charm and character.
Where did you get a Gyarados
Of course my dock had to take a shit the day this comes out lol
