A little tip I just recently figured out is if you fall into the water before you have Basculegion & can't get out you can just fast travel as long as you aren't being targeted by a Pokemon & won't die or loss any items. Also if you are trying to fill out the Pokedex & it requires you to see a move, especially one like Baby-doll eyes, you can go back to the 1st area where things are weaker & spam those moves to get them done instead of trying to do them in a harder place. Plus you can add the agile or strong abilities to Baby-doll eyes to get two in one done.

I just want to point out that if your entire team falls your still free to run around. You only black out if your trainer takes to many attacks or 2 much fall damage.
Also keep in mind to not loose your mindbecause this will happen a lot more then in the other pokemon games due to Alpha pokemons.
Yes, and you can actually recover Some of your items and if someone else finds your satchel

The Pokédex in this game is so much more fun and interactive than just catching one of them. It forces you to use Pokémon you otherwise wouldn’t use to switch it up to see moves.
Catch a lot of them. Fight a lot of them. It’s just way more fun
This genuinely looks exciting! I'm still in the middle of trying to secure a job, but as soon as I start getting paid again I think it's safe to say that I will be all over this game!

I'm trading in some old 3ds games and a few switch games I enjoyed but won't be playing again. I can't afford it either but getting rid of shit I won't play again is a better alternative than paying anyways.

Stay with the online mode and people that are playing will find your satchel and return it to you if you black out in the wild. I did notice you might lose some items but you keep most of them
You don’t get MP if you aren’t online! I spent a couple of hours collecting satchels to only find out I didn’t get any MP for them!
Outbreaks are similar to swarms in Pokémon Conquest where certain Pokémon appear in one Kingdom. The difference is that the Pokémon that appear in swarms are Pokémon that aren't found anywhere else. My favorite
swarm happens after the player character evolves Eevee, their starter, more Eevee appear in a kingdom that has a playground (which is, ironically, a type of battleground).
I always had a theory that Pokémon could learn/know more than many moves but “officially” (like Pokémon league) could only use 4 moves to make it fair.
Cried inside using tackle against geodude when there's water moves. 💧

For another lil tip:
When an outbreak happens, especially for a Pokémon you like, go out of your way to defeat or catch as many as you can. You might see something cool! 😉

If you play with an internet connection: your lost satchel will spawn on a friend's map and they can find it/return it via the lost & found and you will get your items back.

I'm enjoying it, though I'm only playing a couple hours at a time....... I hate having a life sometimes
It’s been a breath of fresh air to me. The catching mechanics are so much better than just, random encounter, fight, throw ball. Being stealthy and catching Pokémon by surprise is a great mechanic, and I love the new way moves are handled. I never liked having only four moves and never having access to the old ones. Now you can completely customize you crew whenever you want. The whole game feels more realistic (if you can say that about Pokémon lol) to how things would actually work. In my opinion this should be the baseline they build off of for all games in the near future. This game isn’t perfect but it is definitely a proof of concept for open world Pokémon. If you like Pokémon you will probably love this game.

@@mamaluigi429 a lot of people received theirs early. Some people preordered it and it arrived before the release. Even just getting it 2 days early and playing a ten hour session each day would give you 20 hours. I'm sure there's countless people that have played 20+ hours by now.

Tip 9: Get that farm going immediately. You will get items you won’t find right away, and you will be burning through those crafting ingredients later.

Another excellent tip is to set up some empty boxes in the front of your main Pokémon pastures so that it’s easier to sort through

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is very different from the other past Pokemon games because sometime a trainer need to dodge a wild Pokemon's attack instead the usual Pokemon battle to weaken a wild Pokemon before catching it. Watch some of the video on UA-cam of how to dodge even the legendary Pokemon like Palkia, Dialga, Giratina and Arceus is really hard😒 as it reminds me one of Nintendo sitch games like Zelda and Mario. I know Gamefreak wanted to do something interesting and a challenge in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Game but I prefer goinging back to the traditional of catching Pokemon instead.

Outbreaks also have INSANE shiny spawn odds!!! 1/158 without any other shiny boosting conditions, such as completing the dex for that pokemon etc...

The move system has a huge ass change in the way stuff works especially status effects like sleep and frozen.
Wow you can buy recipes? That's awesome! I bought the Remedy one to start with. They're the bitter herbal medicine, but its fun to collect the recipes and make something with everything I collect. If only expanding space in my bag didn't cost more than it does to teach a pokemon moves...
Hey, what happens if you have out a few of your pokemon and you start a battle against 1 pokemon. Does the pokemon that you already have out begins to battle as well?
No. Everyone but your last selected Pokémon will return. You can’t cheat and bumrush every enemy with all of your pokemon at once like Gary tried to do
your forgot the farm! You can pay the farmer to farm certain berries for you and medicinal things!

Upgrading your storage is good but you dont have to go all the way. Once youre full, place it in your inventory chest all the knick knacks that isnt really essential. You can always craft items in safe areas afterwards

Releasing all the random pokemon you dont need is great too, cause essentially you get vitamins for it(dust) which is now used instead of ivs and evs its effort levels so, yea… CATCH EM ALL

Your items can be recovered ! If another trainer finds your satchel in the world I’m pretty sure this only works if your connected to the internet I usually spend some time finding peoples satchels so they can get their stuff back (the only thing is you can’t find your own someone else has to do it )

there IS a way to recover lost items- the same way you find other people's satchels randomly in the world, if you're connected to the internet someone else will do the same for yours eventually and you get the stuff back.

Will Pokemon Legends Arceus be compatible with the Switch Version of Pokemon Home in the future i heard that its compatible with the mobile version but i dont wanna start the game until i know????
It’s kind of funny that you mention the different shops and stuff in the village.
To be completely honest, they aren’t needed to beat the story line.
I finished yesterday, and never utilized anything in the village like that and only did a handful of side missions because I thought they were needed.
I truly wish they added more importance to these features in the story.
I’m hoping for some really good DLC to implement a lot of new fun things they could have done with the game.
I’d have loved to see another village in which you can actually view and play with friends online, or some sort of gym/raid feature.
I’m also quite displeased with the Pokédex and Legends selection for the game. There were too many repeat spawns throughout the regions and they could have added more Pokémon. The legends are truly underwhelming for the majority

I bought this game but still not sure if I should open it or return it. Last one I played was the let’s go pikachu game. I don’t like the fact there’s no gyms or trainers to fight.
Can someone explain the podex levels more for me? @5:28 for exmaple they are at research level 9 but only have 6 checkmarks. are some worth more than 1 research point? How does this work because I can't seem to figure it out.
One more thing about throwing your pokemon out to get resources: they gain friendship easily that way. Great for those eevee forms you need to get.
I love the game the mon look so amazing. My years of Skyrim Sneak training have paid off. I just sneak everywhere and the mon barely see me coming.

Thanks Zac. This is my very first Pokémon game(shocking I’m sure) I’ve put about 8 hours into it since Friday. Enjoying it a ton! I’m rank 2, caught 30 types of Pokémon so far and yeah just been having a ton of fun. For the vets since I’m new to Pokémon a couple of questions without spoilers if possible.
1. How do I get Pokémon that can carry me or that I can ride?
2. Can I sell my Pokémon? I get that they’re on my pastures but can’t I just sell my duplicates, or do I have to release every single one that I don’t want anymore.
I get the hype behind the gotta catch em all now. Fun! Haven’t felt bored and only stopped playing because I had work or had to go to sleep. Hope some veterans can answer my questions. 😃

@@superdave3093 You will get Pokémon to ride as you complete the story. Keep in mind you will need stars to be permitted to go to some of the areas where you get those Pokémon that help.
No, you can't sell the Pokémon but you can release them and each Pokémon gives you a gift. According to their level it will various stones at different grades. These stones help you raise the effort level of any stat as long as the Pokémon is compatible.
Release the pokemon you catch often. Get grit items and other stuff as a reward

Saw an article about the storage issue. All 37 slots costs a total of 4 million.
So you can get your stuff neck if someone finds your satchel and returns it from online, nut they get to keep some of the stuff as a reward
how did you get 40xp from resources? I usually only get 15xp

To anyone who has played the game early, is this like BOTW where you don't get much direction just go as you please or is it like an open world game where it's like this is where you need to go but get there whenever you feel like it?
i mean your only in diamon and pearl world you cannot travel to other gens area.
It is NOT open world like BOTW, but it mimics an open world field within each region.
Say you want to go from Region A to B, you need to go to home before you can get to B, which is annoying.

Double battle? I can’t bring out 2 pokemon if I get attacked by 2 wilds?
You get your items back through the satchels u find n return to it's owner. Someone returned my items I lost after ko. U can lick up someone's satchel n return it to them u get rewarded metric points.
You can get your items back but they appear on other people's games and they have to choose to send them back to you and may not send them back but keep them instead.
You don't black out if your Pokémon all faint.
And I haven't gotten to that point yet, but since the actual battles are turn-based, can't you just engage with one of your Pokémon...then have your character physically run away from the battle until you're out of range? Your Pokémon will just pop back to you after you're out of range.

quick tip treat your trainer more then your pokemons as you should feeel like what's it like to be in the pokemon world.
I wish the game was just a tad more colorful, but I get that being dull kinda gives it its old timey feel. Other than that, I don’t mind the graphics.I guess we are so used to having very colorful Pokémon games that this is a drastic change. I do like having goals to meet with catching multiples. It gives me more reasons to catch more of the same one instead of sitting for hours just trying to get a shiny by catching one over and over again.

all your pokemon can faint in the wild and you can keep going you can let your pokemon out of there balls speak to them all of them the wurmple you catch for that guy will evolve and he has mistaken its identity you use the hold items on the pokemon that need them for trade evolution instead of giving them the item you can change the battle moves of your pokemon you have to tell your pokemon to evolve
