I have a Blackstar HT Stage 100 and it's the best sounding amp I've owned since I started playing in 1975.
This track is SMOKIN"!! I think I need a cigarette and a nap, I don't even smoke cigarettes. This is intriguing, I love watching this industry evolve. Pete have you ever thought about dipping your toe in the soundtrack pool, video game, T.V. movies? You have obvious compositional chops, it could prove to be quite lucrative.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I've managed to sell a few tunes to TV/cable shows, but Pete's guitar stylings have me wishing I'd picked up the tuba.

Great demo Pete and what an interesting and very versatile pedal! Love the last part where you did the ad-hoc playing with the pedal and software, gave great insight into the multitude of capabilities!
These pedals are genius. Finally a tube pre amp that has a configurable digital cab sim feature built in. These will be amazing for recording.

Pete, I tune in NOT for the product demos but to get inspired by your mad skills on the fretboard. You never cease to amaze me. Tasty licks, creative use of contrasting phrasing, and highly-imaginative tones and sounds you coax out of your pick-ups, pedal-tweaking, and choice of different guitars. You are a SUPERB musician!

suuuhweeeet! I've been trying these "preamp" pedals and rackmounts for decades...it's about time we see some that actually do what they say they do and then some...and run on high plate voltage (well, enough to be in the zone). Of coarse, Pete, in your hands, you make anything sounds it's very best! Thanks. I bet it's still fun to have all the original beasts to compare these things to, though :)

I use the old ht-dual with an hxstomp for fxs. Great little universal tube powered combo. The response of these pedals is so awesome. Great demo Pete 🤙

pete i just received a New One a couple of days ago im very Happy sounds great sadly ive been without Electric Energy over 24 Hours here in Puerto Rico full blackout yesterday so im crazy to cranck it again.
Wow Pete that pedal can totally get the pt100 gain tones and I'll bet u can fine tune to near perfect match...there's so much versatility to this unit and it's really in the vein of what I'm after right now...the Boss ir200 has my attention as well...

Just got one. Tube screamer is gone. Tried it with a Vox 30 watt vtx hybrid and holy crap. Big tube amp loves it too lol.
Its control knobs are quite responsive and a little goes a long way.
@9:26 was expecting you to drop a "Voxy Lady!" line or something!

The pedal seems to do a good job, just the cab sims sounded a bit... well, lets say they are certainly usable but they kinda dont appeal to me. But im sure you can turn them off and then use an IR-Loader in the DAW

Hey Pete! I love the harmonic progression in the breakdown section really haunting dissonances, cool stuff! Can you make a recommendation on the task chair you like? It's so difficult to record guitar on your lap while engineering the session etc. Cheers!

I thought the crunch sound was spectacular. Sort of wish they made a version that didn't contain the DI, cab sims, etc. and a slightly lower cost. Obviously I've no idea what part of the cost that represents so perhaps a silly thought. Was really pleasantly surprised. Thinking about an Origin Effect RD Compact. Hmmm.... Thanks, Pete.

I have a long contract coming up overseas where it’s likely they’ll expect me to run into a clean amp or even direct to the PA.
Thinking one of these as my main naughty sounds with a couple of bits in the loop and whatever else I need rather than going digital. Do you think they’re good enough as a main sound for regular work or would you recommend something else?
If it only had at least one "favorite" preset to set. I generally do not use the same EQ on clean sound as on the crunch or overdrive. I want more mids when distorted, and more scooped Twin Reverb sound whenever clean. Apart from the USB thing, I think most dual overdrive pedals out there with tubes in it has the same EQ for crunch and clean channels. But hands to your hearts not that many irl tube amps. If this pedal had at least one "favorite" setting just like you can do on Strymons, I would be all game. But nice playing as always, and the only one worth watching still when it comes to demoes.

How does this compare, strictly as a stomp box going into an amp, to the Tube Driver? If it’s comparable… we’ll, 2 Tube Drivers for just under $300 is a deal, and the other interface stuff is just icing on the cake!

I have a problem with this product, where should I put the output to the return amplifier, to the OUTPUT SECTION or to the CAB RIG? I want to use it instead of the preamp in my tube amplifier
if I enter it in the OUTPUT section, the 3 channel CAB RIG switch feature doesn't work on my amplifier
What are you using on the desktop that clamps and holds the unit in place? Where can I get one?

Pete- unrelated question if you have time. I ran mine straight out of USB to Mac. Had a lot of latency. How did you eliminate that in this demo?
does the interface is in and out or just out. can you hear the tracks throgh the phones out?

At around 2:20 Pete points to the "cab sim" 1/4' out & calls it "an analog cabinet simulated out". I though Blackstar's Cab Sim was DSP aka digital signap processing. What's the scoop, guitar nerds?

You could use for bass, sure, although I’m sure the EQ is tailored for guitar but may still work just fine. For bass guitar I really like the dark glass bass pedal stuff but I know that’s not a USB interface
