Hey everyone! just a heads up there are some strange contrast artifacts in a few places in this video - I'm not sure why exactly yet. I upgraded geforce experience to the nvidia app (new name for it i guess) and the color space on the recorded video seems to go a bit strange in Blender. I thought i'd corrected it by switching to agx log color space and it mostly has - but in some of the very dark areas and some of the very bright areas in certain shots there is a bit of banding - on the bright side this one is in 1440
I hope you had a very restful holiday and I'm looking forward to seeing new content again! Any games besides Star Citizen you are looking forward to playing in 2025?
Have you tried using DaVinci Resolve for editing? Not saying it'd necessarily fix this bug, just that it's a much more powerful editing suite that is also free. Also, it might fix it, as it has more support for different color space options etc.
Loving the natural feel of the recent videos! You're doing amazing work. Cannot wait to see/hear some of the "other" projects you have on the back burner.
Welcome back to the verse! Pyro has pushed me to join an Org, and it has taken the game to a whole new level. Feels like the PU has evolved into a whole different beast and I can't wait to see what CIG can do in 2025.
Love the narration team. I really appreciate your videos that show the love of exploration, the journey and of course, sharing the adventure with fellow travelers. In life and in the universe it’s always best to keep looking up.
I really love how you guys always show what star citizen is capable of, with a good group of friends. I have been in the Phoenix numerous times but it never looked as fun as you guys riding together in it as an escape vehicle. Good times.
Love this content! I showed a mate this video to show what Star Citizen's all about. This really showed how incredible this game is, jumping to a different star system in a ship with a physical interior, to do an FPS mission in an abandoned asteroid base. Speechless
Well I must say that seeing the missteps, little glitches and the little surprises like the guard giving you a nod was impressive and fun. I really enjoyed this! Only tried Pyro once and spawned there. Went to one planet and no one was home. Didn't even think to try looting but did climb a ladder, tripped a mine and got smoked... When I go back I will be more cautious but also comfortable. Thanks!
Somewhat new to your videos and been really enjoying them. They pulled me back into playing ontop of the release of pyro and have been loving going through it and seeing the new planets and environments.
Although I think, you can call someone who kills you just for fun, without any gameplay reasons a "griefer", I agree with you - one should not complain being attacked, since we know that it can happen. And yes, Pyro as the first new system in SC, but being an unsafe location does increase the problems with this topic. Thanks for all your videos
Welcome back! I hope you had a good holiday break! I've been to Pyro once, and keep meaning to go back for some exploration, but haven't done so. I definitely feel right now that it is better if you run with a group, safety in numbers and all that jazz.
Yay 2025 begins! I look forward to a new set of living off your ship videos, especially with the new ships that are out and those coming out later this year! 4.0 is a great step forward Tech-wise, but I've been struggling with my Aurora, renting cargo ships helps, but then server issues don't like me getting anywhere lol So I've done little to nothing the last week and a half, one day I'll jump through to Pyro! soon tm
Nice, I haven't been to pyro yet and now that I am in the 4.0. preview I was getting my legs under myself from the complete wipe and been trying different credit builders and ship components to see what a difference they make in my Vulture and Prospector and I want to go see for myself what is out there and now I know a little about what to expect, thank you Kate and all of your wonderful friends, great job and look forward to more.
Glad to see you're back, Kate! Always look forward to your content, and hoping to see that Life Aboard series on the Starlancer soon ;) P.S: Looking at your view out the Phoenix window makes me want to shake John Crewe's shoulders and cry "Where's my damn E1 Spirit, CIG??"
I was first blown away with the photo realistic clouds on Pyro 1 with the light shafts. And the very eery music was a cherry on top. I have to give my heartfelt thanks to Pedro Camacho. He is a great composer.
The Guardian is absolutely my favorite looking ship so far. When you stepped inside for the first time, I couldn't help but think "It's bigger on the inside!" CIG outdid themselves, and that's saying something with the more recent releases. Great video, great to see you back!
Great vid. Keep up the good work. Lately I have been out and about in my Prospector in Pyro. My Org has been trying to do at least 1 CZ raid a week too. Super fun times.
Great ship and gameplay. Most people don't realize the amount of work that goes into creating and editing these videos. Especially with the complications the game can have. I'm new to the game and still enjoy it, even with the issues.
Another great video, thank you. I was only able to get my hands on a guardian for a couple of hours but I found it to be extremely versatile and I'll definitely be trying to get one in the future.
Pyro was a great addition to star citizen! The jump gate is so cool and something I’ll never get sick of. It gets me really excited for future systems.
Going to Pyro is so exciting! Good to see your team had a first successful mission. I've done a bit of exploring, came back alive a couple times lol. Sometimes not! Be careful out there friends!
Congratulations Zypher you are the winner of our Mirai Guardian giveaway! - please drop me an email at Citizen_kate@yahoo.com to arrange delivery of the prize package to you! and thank you very much for watching the channel too :)
Happy new year guys! Love your videos and Kate, you are better at flying than you think you are! Keep up the good stuff and I hope to see more, crew life onboard videos soon!
For my 4.0 time it's all been in Pyro, feels like home. Love doing these missions you had in this vid + the missions with the ship full of gooold! As soon as the bugs get smashed I may not stop playing!
Thanks as always for another brilliant video. Can't wait to get into Pyro, I had it in mind to build up a solid base of funds and equipment first, before I ventured in. Making sure I'm prepped and ready to go. Also like the idea of using Stanton as a staging/storing location and venturing into Pyro for adventure.
I hope y'all came good into 2025 and good to see that you're back making videos :) Although 4.0 is still rough around the edges, it shows extremely promising potential. I am looking forward to the next year in the 'vers and am very excited on what CIG's plans for 2955 are going to entail. Fly fast, fly safe o7
Great video! Looking forward for visiting Pyro myself :) Not to shoot everyone down but to take in the whole new system, to boldly go where no man has gone before o7
Welcome back to the Verse & Happy 🥳New Year 🥂 I ❤ love this game and your videos, where you really live multiplayer👨👩👧👦teamwork. Your 📽cinematic approach also makes your videos an exciting and worthwhile experience, and the 🎶soundtrack is not neglected either. Please keep it up and show us viewers why ⭐Star Citizen was created and why Robert has already come very close to his 🌠dream. I hope that I can also manage your gameplay 🚁myself with like-minded people . . . Best wishes to you both and the crew⛄⛄⛄🏁
Happy New Year ! hope you both have had a nice break .. welcome back to the 4.0 ( preview ) It is very entertaining ( on the right server ) or a buggy mess if not .
Great video, and I’ve been looking forward to seeing the Mitsi Guardian in all its Fat Fury styled glory! I’ll definitely be upgrading the rig to try jump into 4.0 to try one out this year.
I love these "first experience" types of videos, that looked like a lot of fun. The Guardian seems awesome. Back in 3.22 I thought it would be so cool to have an Ares Ion that had an interior. The Guardian has two size 5s instead of one size 7, but it's basically the same idea I was thinking. A fighter with a big gun and an interior (that's not too old). It would be nice if it had 2 shields like the Ion/Inferno, but still very cool. Oh - and it looks like a tie interceptor
From us standing on square plates looking at a semi-interactable ship husk, to manually navigating winding intergalactic zip-scoot tunnels... it's been a hell of a journey to be a part of while having the development process shared with us in ways we'd hardly have the privilege anywhere else
Yay new vid! Need to jump back into 4.0 now the holidays are over. I wasnt expecting to like the ship very much bit theres just something about it thats just charming
Good to see a new video, still unsure whether to make the jump over to Pyro in my C1. Will have to build up funds running cargo once those missions start working again.
That's my first mission on my first ever visit to Pyro. Genuinely terrified as I'm running solo as if someone is hiding on the corner waiting for you. Overall, I had very lucky positive experience on 4.0 Preview. Server meshing is a success and it is so much better than previous version performance wise. Pyro is not bad as some would say. It does keep the feeling of being in constant danger. Jumping into Pyro is one of the moment that I will never forget. The music is just 🔥. Anyway, great vids and good luck to whoever win the guardian.
i saw an npc working on a vent or something the other day, crouched with a multitool which was a really cool little touch... :D also glad to see you didn't have the gankfest pyro experience 😂😂😂

I hope you had a very restful holiday and I'm looking forward to seeing new content again! Any games besides Star Citizen you are looking forward to playing in 2025?
Thanks for the vid. I did the same with Nvidia and have similar artifacts in game now from time to time 🙄
love the 1440
Like the video, you were really lucky when I see the client fps. Mostly it's really bad 😢
Love it! You all do such a great job going on adventures, supporting each other, and making us feel like we’re part of the story.
Ohh having the NPCs look at/acknowledge you as you walk by at 6:10 was a such a cool little addition!
yeah that was really nice...
Caught that too. Pretty neat and npc's add organic immersion when the servers are in their prime.
Welcome back to the verse! Pyro has pushed me to join an Org, and it has taken the game to a whole new level. Feels like the PU has evolved into a whole different beast and I can't wait to see what CIG can do in 2025.
What org did you join?
Pyro is absolutely gorgeous! Can easily see why it took so long. Glad its finally here and there's so much more to explore!
1440p looks stunning! absolutely LOVING the look of the guardian and looking forward to seeing it in more videos! Keep up the great work Kate!
Good times.
As always, your way of sharing a *story* instead of merely capturing some gameplay is very captivating. Thanks for sharing!
Love this content! I showed a mate this video to show what Star Citizen's all about. This really showed how incredible this game is, jumping to a different star system in a ship with a physical interior, to do an FPS mission in an abandoned asteroid base. Speechless
4.0 has been a rollercoaster literally...nice vid!!!
Thanks!
Glad to see you back after the holidays! I can't wait to see the rest of your adventures in Pyro!
Loving the Contrast between calm music and gunfire around 15:40. Great Video!
Somewhat new to your videos and been really enjoying them. They pulled me back into playing ontop of the release of pyro and have been loving going through it and seeing the new planets and environments.

Thanks for all your videos
I plan to make my first Pyro jump this weekend. Great to see a new video. Happy New Year!
Hope you enjoyed your holiday break. Excited to see all the content the new year brings!
Welcome back! I hope you had a good holiday break!
I've been to Pyro once, and keep meaning to go back for some exploration, but haven't done so. I definitely feel right now that it is better if you run with a group, safety in numbers and all that jazz.
I have always loved your camera work, u make the game look even better than it already does
Nice to see you back in the 'verse! I hope your holidays were good, and Happy New Year!
Yay 2025 begins! I look forward to a new set of living off your ship videos, especially with the new ships that are out and those coming out later this year!

So I've done little to nothing the last week and a half, one day I'll jump through to Pyro! soon tm
Always love your videos! The context you add brings a good bit of excitement to them. Keep up the awesome work!
Pyro has been great fun so far, glad to see you taking your first steps within it!

Nice to see the mission go (mostly) smoothly. Thanks again for the great vid Kate!
Happy new year and welcome back in space. The ship does look much better, than i thought before. Actually pretty inside and out
First vid of the new year and it looks great!
Happy New Year, I hope you had a great holiday. Glad to see you on SC. Thanks for your great content
I can't wait for Pyro to become more stable, it's a beautiful place to explore
Hope you and yours had a fantastic holiday season. Thank you always for providing us with such entertaining SC content! Cheers!
Happy New Year and glad you had a good experience in Pyro!
I was first blown away with the photo realistic clouds on Pyro 1 with the light shafts. And the very eery music was a cherry on top. I have to give my heartfelt thanks to Pedro Camacho. He is a great composer.
Always enjoyable to watch yourself and your group do missions with purpose and planning
Happy New Year!
I always enjoy your adventures. Thank you for sharing!

Brilliant vid as always. I always find if my interest in SC is starting to wane, watching one of your videos always gets me enthused again :)
Welcome back. I missed these vids. This channel is how I found this game and they bring me back to some good times. o7
Thank you for continuing to make some of the most entertaining content in the verse!
Your videos make this game look even better! Thank you for sharing them!
Happy New Year, glad to see you back. Guardian looks cool must try one out.
Eyy glad to see you didn't have any server problems. Very fortunate
Happy New Year! Love watching you and your crew!
Good to see you back, hope your holiday season went well :)
Honestly, that landing you did with the Guardian was sweet. Nice and smooth.
I hope y'all came good into 2025 and good to see that you're back making videos :) Although 4.0 is still rough around the edges, it shows extremely promising potential. I am looking forward to the next year in the 'vers and am very excited on what CIG's plans for 2955 are going to entail.

Happy new year all. Loving the content, really need to play more, but you always make it look so much cooler than what I play. :D
I am happy I finally had time to watch one of your videos again. Pyro does look amazing. One day I will find the time to explore it too.
Happy New Year ! hope you both have had a nice break .. welcome back to the 4.0 ( preview ) It is very entertaining ( on the right server ) or a buggy mess if not .

Happy new year! Glad to see my favorite SC crew is back in action!
Nice to watch your productions again after your well deserved hollydays.
Love watching these, especially as I'm one of those that doesnt want the PVP gameplay myself but I enjoy watching it
Amazing content! Always delighted to see a new video from you!
Nice play through, glad it finished for you all. 4.0 can be a lot of fun when things go relatively smoothly.
Really appreciate the content. Well made, entertaining. Your vids are a common watch when I’m gaming
Happy New Year. May this year bring you happiness, satisfaction, achievement, and joy.
That smooth wormhole transition looked so good!
Yay new vid! Need to jump back into 4.0 now the holidays are over.
I wasnt expecting to like the ship very much bit theres just something about it thats just charming
Happy new years! Can’t wait to get home from vacation and play 4.0.
Thank you for giveaways Kate. Very kind of you and your team.
Good to see a new video, still unsure whether to make the jump over to Pyro in my C1. Will have to build up funds running cargo once those missions start working again.
Hope you had good holidays, looking forward to your 2025.
The Guardian is a great looking ship.
Happy New Year! And that Mirai Guardian is a really good looking ship. Maybe I'll be lucky this time around. :)
That's my first mission on my first ever visit to Pyro. Genuinely terrified as I'm running solo as if someone is hiding on the corner waiting for you.

Had the pleasure to chat a bit with you a few days aggo, thanks for the vid ! God speed !
Happy New Year Kate. And greetings from Germany.
Normaly i don't look english Content, but your's i love it. ❤
Nice Gameplay and Happy new Year.
Let´s see what CIG has in Mind with all the Areas.
I love seeing people having a good time in the verse, on spectrum you'd think the whole thing was on fire.
Thanks as always Kate, been waiting on your 4.0 content!
I love that mini elevator on the Guardian. Such a cool ship
I like that sometimes places are abandoned... feels realistic and you get that "what's hiding around the corner?" tension
i saw an npc working on a vent or something the other day, crouched with a multitool which was a really cool little touch... :D
also glad to see you didn't have the gankfest pyro experience 😂😂😂
I remember my first day in Pyro... It felt like waiting for a roller-coaster ride, fun if you are able to get on it before it breaks down.
