- I had the opportunity to compare my Lexus RCF when the chassis brace was off after my spark plug install and when I put it back on. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

Big dog, the fact that you are 36 on all 4 corners is a testament to your vehicle maintenance skill. My car is 36, 38, 35, 32. I’m working on it.
Cool video! Good info. Would have been good to see how it compares with the RCF OEM 4-point shock tower braces car comes with, but I understand you might have taken it off a long while ago. Cheers!
Yeap, a long time who haha. But I do want to know the increase in rigidity also.
Will check out on big screen
Like on a big tv?
awesome video and thanks for sharing as well
Thanks, I appreciate it.
@@thehuangbros no problem
Another cool video good info
Thanks. I appreciate the kind words.
Thanks for the great content. I know the rcf has a different chassis, but do you think this brace has the same effect on a gsf? I'm surprised how much roll there is in sustained cornering in the gsf, but I have 2016 without active suspension.
This brace to my knowledge cant fit a gsf. But I think there is benefits to having something as rigid of a design as this.
The RCF comes with a 4-point chassis brace stock (two bars connecting shock towers to the firewall) while the GSF does not have it OEM. So, I think if RR Racing makes one for the GSF (I think they don't, but Toms makes one for the lower suspension for GSF), it will benefit the GSF even more because the delta would be bigger than it is for the RCF. To your complaint, a quick thing you could do is also get rid of the very soft OEM PSS tires and get some more aggressive/stiffer sidewall high performance tires and it will reduce the roll in corners.
@@2ZZGE100 excellent point
Any chance of making a video on the rear chassis brace as well?
Yeah I can take off what I got and make a vid of it
I understand how that brace enhances rigidity but there is no way it has any effect on body roll.
You’d be surprised. I didnt believe it but it did something. Having front and rear chassis braces along with underbody braces, body roll is still existent but lowered by a bit
Do you think the comfortable level got better or worse in the car. going over the bumps and so on?
I think you misinterpreted my message maybe? It only gotten better since adding the chassis brace.
@@thehuangbros in the turns ya, and going over bumps is better to?
@@henry222ist yes all in all. It was better overall everything. Not exaggerating either
Hey bro I have watched it twice and did you tighten the last bolt on driver side ? I was wondering how you do that and it’s not in the video
Are you talking about the 12mm nut that goes towards the firewall? The really limited space one?
@@thehuangbros yeah bro but I got it now I loosen up the bracket and tighten it up
@@tungwhiteZ thats good. Glad it worked out.
@@thehuangbros thank you bro it does stiffen up the front end for sure I can feel it when it’s accelerating
@@tungwhiteZ me too. I use to think placebo effect but I think now it has to be due to the structure/design of it.
Does anyone know if anyone makes a brace like this for the is500? And by like thus I mean one that has 3 or 4 points of contact not just 2(I know rr racing and several other companies make them like that) it seems to me that being able to triangulate the brace would offer vast improvements over just connecting the 2 shock towers
It depends on chassis where there is a 3rd or 4th point of contact. IS500 doesnt
@@thehuangbros Its surprising to me that there wouldn't be part of the frame to bolt on to, I have an is500 on order right now and i'll have to look and see when it comes in. I'm lucky as I have machine shop with access to fabricating equipment, and could make something if it looks like its possible
@@85CEKR youd be the first with a 3 or 4 point brace in a IS500.
Lexus removed it from 2023 Models onwards, what a shame Lexus has become. I'm really pissed off because my IS 500 has bumper sagging problem and I read a lot about it, before esp that Motorfrontier article about it and dude got banned on Clublexus because he used 2 accounts but his article was solid, and now the RC F they downgraded it a lot, no TVD no Chassis brace, no driver memory. Shame on Lexus for ruining the legacy of Yaguchi and Lexus F division. Oh the IS 500 and 350 both exhibit it plus Lexus North America put a stupid TSB that ruins the 3IS bumper just read how BS that is, they are using glue, ziptie, epoxy to hamfist a fix and it ruined bumpers for those who went to dealership to get it done on their sagging bumpers.
