      Hey man I know you said that the upgraded FIGS LCA helps with the fast wear in the inside of the tire, but does it make the car feel more planted going around a corner? @Huang bros

    Thanks for the great informative vid Barry 💪🏽. In regards to inner tire wear, suspension and handling do the figs or rr usrs lca bushings help front or inner tire wear ? I was under the understanding the lca bushings help front tire inner wear and the rr racing rear spc camber arm helps rear tires inner wear ? Do I have this correct ? Also if I wanted to go with a mild drop (maybe an inch or inch and half) with the rr coilovers would that leave me bottoming out on hills , exiting parking garages, or speed bumps ? Barry, how rough is the ride with the Figs bushings? I had the RR racing (street version) and didn't like about the ride quality, and most of all the maintenance of the bushings. Hate re-lubing it every 6 months(or less). I'm looking forward on getting the new version of RR's bushing, the race version, which is like the one you have (enclosed and maintenance free). I would probably can deal with the ride roughness if I don't need to take it out twice(or more) a year. I have the RCF/GSF bushings and your truly correct - car is now back to boat ride.

    • @thehuangbros
      @thehuangbros  3 роки тому

      Haha im glad someone agrees with me about the boat feel. But um I had rr racing usrs before the figs solids. They say solids you feel it more because there is no polyurethane. I didnt feel any of the increased nvh but maybe its because I have x2 8in subs in the trunk. I had a good experience with usrs i just changed to figs solid precision bearings to save the tires more. But it also depends on what suspension you have that will absorb the road harshness since its the struts/shocks that receives the road info and it has sends the info back to the inside cabin. My experience with nvh tolerance will most likely be higher than yours but overall i like the way usrs or figs solids feel, no nvh really.

      Hi Thomas. That is a good eye you have there. These 20in Titan7s are great. They feel light and I noticed an increase in acceleration compared to stock 19inches. No BS. Cornering is better since it doesn't feel as heavy to turn since these are like 21.7 lbs compared to the 28lbs stocks. They are worth it. Plus they look great. I want RR Racing Rotors too. Girodiscs for the win.

    2015 tvd model as well. What do you think about weight reduction? I won't remove interiors cause that makes experience from daily uses worse, and won't go for cf hood as it seems quite dangerous. What i can think of right now is to swap for lighter battery, rims and exhaust(maybe novel header+exhaust, nice sound but quite expensive). Thx

    • @thehuangbros
      @thehuangbros  3 роки тому +1

      The benefits of weight reduction is greater than adding power mods like Intake Header Exhaust believe it or not. Weight reduction will allow our v8s to really shine as proven or shown in one of my videos about the track built ISF by illwillem on ig who took off around 700lbs. I think even 100lbs in weight reduction will get you to be faster than any other rcf with an intake and exhaust. The first weight reduction areas to target is the unsprung weight so the rims, lug nuts, brake calipers, brake rotors, suspension struts/shocks.

      The mods I listed wont help the RCF on a 1/4mile. Car is too heavy. Losing car weight will improve 1/4mi. An exhaust wont do much for a 1/4 mile in this heavy car. Circuit track times, these parts will help lower. But at the end its all driver skills and knowing the correct lines.

    I do actually like the original little joystick for the screen, for a few reasons:
    - The joystick, to me when I'm sitting down, is just like a mouse for a computer.
    - The screen stays looking amazing, because my finger smudges aren't on it.
    - It's basic. Android Auto would be nice, but it's surely not a necessity for me.

    It is a high performance sports coupe so I never experienced the "driving like a boat" part. The stock suspension on my RCF carbon/TVD is pretty stiff. It really corners flat especially with much superior tires than the one it came with (Pilot Super Sport, which were too soft for my liking). I switched out the tires for PS4S Extra Load and the feedback and sidewall stiffness got dramatically better. Anyway, cheers!

      tbh i'm a big fan of audi setups with teh scroll wheel. Find touchscreens super distracting, especially when they're as far away as the screen is in this car. Used the touch pad briefly during a test drive and i found it pretty intuitive but it's probably because I'm used to not having that touchscreen utility in my audi anyways

Invidia gives it a nice tone but I have not heard it in a rcf but have heard it in a RC350 and it sounds really good. However that is comparing V8 to V6. I think invidia still keeps the exhaust note close to JDM. I dislike sounding like a mustang/challenger too. Total of everything is ~$9000. Maybe $10000 if im missing anything but definitely less than $10000. Did all the work myself as DIY but again ultimately less than $10000.

      @@davidwade7681 this is my second RCF. The first one I had was torsen diff so non performance package. They feel exactly the same. Only difference I feel is when it is in Slalom mode in mountains or on freeway.

      @@davidwade7681 I honestly dont feel the difference in weight. I think the 50-100lbs is negligible. Might be less than what I stated.
