Before watching this I was teetering pretty evenly between high Bronze and low Silver but after taking some time to really practice a few of these (particularly front flips and that fast kickoff trick) I've been about to consistently stay between mid/high Silver. Im in S3 and every solo game is the same, they dont even go for the ball they just wait till you get a bad hit and then score 🤦♂️ seems pointless to even try

I became a gold player essentially right after i started playing. I can hit some cool shots but im finding myself only winning 50% of rounds and sticking to gold 1 div 3. Most of my losses are because of very basic mistakes. Hopefully focusing on my silver and bronze will help me progress further and possibly move me to platinum sooner. I want to be at least a mid platinum by 6 months of playing

@fabienzaca from what I remember when i started the main thing that helped me get to gold was learning to hit the ball in the right spots, like how to aim shots. I was a diamond/champ but i basically quit now lol. Got bored

Not really. I would say that's just a rebound shot. I would usually consider a double touch as getting 2 touches on the ball while in the air. If the first touch was on the ground I wouldn't consider it a double touch.
When I teach ppl RL I usually tell them something like this (on how to get better and win more games). "It's not about winning, it's about not losing... If the other team can't score you ya, guess what, you can't lose."

Your rank goes up at different speeds depending on a number of factors, including which specific opponents you verse. If you keep practicing and winning you'll get there - you may just need to be patient. Good luck!
Silver is the most smurf rank. Most silvers are ssls smurf in silver just to get silvers mad I've experienced this when I was silver it was impossible to win now am diamond 3 and its so much easier

I was in div 4 silver 3 i was 2-0 up with my team and i got a disconnect or something and i got kicked out of that game then i was banned for an hour i began playing again and lost everything i got mad and now i am in silver 3 div 2 really frustrating now i need to grind it and its hard
Its because your too fast funny enough, since you are faster than your opponent you hit the ball into them sending it fly to your net. I wouldn't say slow down your kickoff but make sure you know where you are aiming the ball. Since you're getting first touch you have more options to hit to.

That is talking about the season REWARDS. You need to be gold in order to get the gold season rewards. You will rank up from silver to gold just by winning games :)
I think RL is programmed to give players with less hours of play - losing tm8s and as you put in those required hours , they give you tm8s that are generally winning ! Maybe

learning half flips is also really easy and helps alot when getting back quickly

In a nutshell: you need to play like a diamond in order to get out of silver.
Thats how it feels, I put my heart out every match and lead in pts in 2/3 matches but i keep losing tons of matches
