Put the goddamn camera to the side of your helmet (RJ style). I'm sick of looking at moving asphalt. Also ask RJ for some tips on recording, cause it sounds like your stuck GoPro to the side of plane takeing off.
Just remember to only ever go 5/10ths of your ability on the road, give yourself plenty of room. Also don’t try and keep up to or catch other riders, every mistake I’ve seen when riding in groups is people trying to keep up to others (usually on straights) and then over cooking corners. I was like you when it came to bikes (10 years ago), kind of just dismissed them, but now, they’re my favourite thing :)
Your moto videos are incrementally getting better. Eventually, you’ll get the wind and view angles sorted out. People need to realize that Paul isn’t an experienced rider and motovlogger. He’ll figure things out.
Like you, I was against motorcycles. Ended up getting my license 07/2019 then my 2019 Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer on 09/13/2019. The free experience is unlike any other. I ride any chance the sun is shining and only getting better. Keep pushing!
Your rapid loss of familiarity with the bike and the ease with which you're able to make "silly little mistakes" is just the lack of habit/instinct/muscle memory which are such integral parts of riding on fast & powerful bikes. THIS IS WHY I've been banging on each of your biking episodes about NOT going too big/too fast/too quickly and not spending your first year growing into the mindset of a biker - AND getting as much training (advanced/roadcraft, off-road, circuit) as soon as possible (given the need for decent weather for some of that). INSTRUCTION is worth its weight in gold (or blood!). Enjoy & grow with your bike!
Bad Weather Riding Tip Once you've sorted your summer gear, it's worth remembering that, A/ once you're soaked to the skin in thoroughly wet weather, you can't get any wetter B/ in cold weather, you can always get increasingly colder and colder, becoming more and more painful with time until you cannot physically ride any further! (or even walk/talk!) Ie. cold is worse than wet - though they can combine as well!
Good on you. Winter can be challenging on a bike but the skills you'll acquire in inclement weather will make you a better rider come Spring. Best of luck. PS: I reckon that CBR needs an aftermarket pipe.
Paul you need to learn to counter steer whilst leaning will help you lean and corner alot better I'm a biker and have a 2012 CBR1000RR Fireblade been riding for 15 years and I've learned loads well done keep it up the skill will gradually come next summer ride safe 🏍🏁🏍🏁🏍👏👏🤜🤛
Happy to see you riding man welcome to the riding family! I have 5 years of riding experience and watching this video brings me back to my days on my good old 2009 Honda cbr600rr. Just a word of advice stay focus and always ride defensively never trust them cagers. Enjoy the freedom and ride safe bro! 🤘🏼
It only gets better! Maybe a Wheelie school with drag style stabilisers in Summer?! Seriously your going well, take it easy and don’t overestimate abilities but do under estimate Car drivers! Just have to say counter steering is mega!!
Paul glad to see your taking up two wheels and hope your enjoying it, couple of tips, get the bike suspension set for your weight.. it makes a massive difference, also when you can, get yourself on a track training day, I am an instructor at a race track, it’s not about seeing how fast you can go but really teaches you what your bike is capable of and also nip the bad habits in the butt before they become the norm.. but all in a controlled environment that has no painted lines or drain holes or cars coming the opposite way.. But watch videos on body positions.. not saying try to get your knee down more movement wise, moving your body will allow the bike to turn without having to lean the bike over as much if that makes sense.. best of luck
Fun video mate, that was a rare sunny day you had for the ride, good on you for getting out there, will meet up some point in the spring on my CB1000R, cheers, Grant
Well done great to see someone like me who loves the Supercar's and bike's. Take's time to get confident on a bike then you really start to enjoy them.
I bought a grand prix red cbr650r after seeing your first video. Initially was looking at a ninja 650 and decided to go for the cbr. My test will be done soon depending in weather but I can't wait to get sorted and collect the bike next month when it arrives!
You know what? I just got the same bike( red) and I felt the same way you do! How it was the most craziest thing! But being on that bike and just riding and cruising is so liberating, so free! I’m also scared because I’m just getting into it so this vlog is inspiring. Thank you!
The camera angle of the one looking at you looks unreal when going round the corners! 👌🏽👍🏽 the one on the head is a bit annoying to watch feel like it needs to be up more 👍🏽 sick video tho mate! 👌🏽👍🏽
In the winter the only insulation I cant get enough of is hands (thumbs get super cold) and thighs. Chest and feet are easy and neck isnt a big problem.
I have the same bike 👍 You really need to mount the helmet cam on the chin area or off to one side, near your ear. As it is now it's too high up and you have to angle it down too much which then cuts off the view ahead for people watching. Roll on the summer 👊✊💨💨
A big biker youtuber RJ uses a pocket mic thing to capture his bike sound he doesn't talk much but i think he has a mic in the helmet when he does. He gets no wind noise then mixs the mic audio over the top..
Tail tidy kit and an exhaust is in order imo. Plus i think you should place the camera on your chin and not the top of your head. Right now we cannot see much of the road ahead. Check out DucatiNYC’s channel to get a better idea
I love that Ducati. If i can afford one after buying a new place to live, new car and other things then i probably will get one. But it's probably gonna be a MV Agusta Superveloce or a Norton Superlight instead. I love cars and bikes. Have been around both for most of my life. But bikes are so much more fun for the money.
bike vid is awesome paul , its great to see you and Becky being introduced to the bike life, its another enjoyable element in life and of course the more of them the better , get a buff that helps a lot with helmet comfort , i like to have mine start from my cheeks down to my neck which helps the helmet stay clean and makes it comfier also , as the miles rack up so will you skill level and enjoyment on the bike , keep em coming thanks
Ducati is pretty much like a Ferrari, its beautiful 👌 Oh hopping you collab with Royal Jordanian and talk more about bike environment, community, safety gear, safety riding and also the best spot for a photo 😍
Nice Honda😃👍 with 10 hp more and 20kg less it would be even better but it seems one of the best sport bike for street use. In mate black it looks great. 🇮🇹
You must upgrade your motovlogging setup, the GoPro goes in front of your chin and the microphone connects to the go pro and goes into your helmet. Sorry my Spaniard English though 👍🏻
Check out c2w on UA-cam on helmet set ups it will make it easier for you as you won’t need to do a voice over, I use his set up as a dash cam at the moment and I had no issues at all,
Lol comparing a Ducati v4s with his lame cbr650 loool Its like comparing a motogp-bike with a scooter....further… seems scary easy to get the mc-driving licence if he has got it...he drives like absolutely shit. In my country you had been kicked out from the test if you drove as bad as he do. Unbelivable…!
90% of that video is you telling us that ur a noobie and justifing your self. Your symoatic but that video is horribly boring and it's a vlog not a motorcycle Vs motorcycle.
I'm unsubscribing you for poor camera angle as there's no point of watching video. I'll subscribe again when you'll manage your camera angle to make videos.
EPIC !!! Paul you have apparently once again forgotten that your Vlog is called: Supercar Of London, ie about cars and no damn motorcycles. If you want to talk about such shit, you have to create a new vlog and call it Water Buffalo = Japanese motorcycles like HONDA ..
CHANGE THE ANGLE OF THE CAMERA
...or stop pushing your chin forward :D
The panigale has a heated seated from stock....heat depends on traffic
Crossplane R1 / R6 says hi
CHANGE THE CAMERA ANGLE
Either move it to the chin or cheek but GOD it’s bad at the moment
Put the goddamn camera to the side of your helmet (RJ style). I'm sick of looking at moving asphalt. Also ask RJ for some tips on recording, cause it sounds like your stuck GoPro to the side of plane takeing off.

I passed my bike test 16 years ago!! I still remember my first ride out! Stay shiney side up lad.
Your moto videos are incrementally getting better. Eventually, you’ll get the wind and view angles sorted out. People need to realize that Paul isn’t an experienced rider and motovlogger. He’ll figure things out.
The BS about the "stand plate". LOL. You put the bike into gear without using the clutch my friend. It happens to the best of us at times.
I do enjoy throwing some bike time in but please tip the helmet cam up a couple degrees. ;)

Cbr650r... The most beautiful motorbike around.
Where is the Vs part ? Admittedly I skipped through chunks as I’m trying to find you riding it...

Do a couple of track days next season. That will help you out with your confidence a bit.
Really loving SOL on 2 wheels!

Super Bikes of London

Love both the car and the bike side of the channel how do you find the cbr650r as a first bike from being a first time rider
Should probably change the title, might be misleading for those looking for a comparison. Other than that great vid.
I have the same bike 👍

Roll on the summer
👊✊💨💨
The Ducati V4 is perfect!!
A big biker youtuber RJ uses a pocket mic thing to capture his bike sound he doesn't talk much but i think he has a mic in the helmet when he does. He gets no wind noise then mixs the mic audio over the top..
You probably want to adjust your camera upwards a little, so we can see further ahead on the road 👌🏻

Come on a cadwell park track day with me next year when the weather is better!!
Love a CBR! :D
the best place to film while on a bike is @ the "chin" of the helmet. 😉👍
Great to see bike content. Two bits of advice. 1 Helmet first then gloves! 2. Watch some videos on counter steering. Keep it up !
nice video mate I'm getting similar weather here in Australia
Yes mate! Love the bike vlogs
@SOL Paul talk with Fagan and Chris at 44Teeth they can help you with camera setup
You need to sort that camera angle out, move it to your chin and aim it up more
I love that Ducati.
If i can afford one after buying a new place to live, new car and other things then i probably will get one.
But it's probably gonna be a MV Agusta Superveloce or a Norton Superlight instead.
I love cars and bikes.
Have been around both for most of my life.
But bikes are so much more fun for the money.
I'm also thinking to do a Bike license and the CBR650R would be my bike of choice
Awesome bro! Cars are good and Biking changed my life
bike vid is awesome paul , its great to see you and Becky being introduced to the bike life, its another enjoyable element in life and of course the more of them the better , get a buff that helps a lot with helmet comfort , i like to have mine start from my cheeks down to my neck which helps the helmet stay clean and makes it comfier also , as the miles rack up so will you skill level and enjoyment on the bike , keep em coming thanks

everyone wants a collab with RJ ;)
Hey try using the chin mount like mounting the go pro on the chin position it gives a way better view
please listen to us paul. we need your go pro angled further up.
You should slap on an aftermarket exhaust on it
You can call it "Superbikes of London" too you know
No a boring cbr 650 aint no superbike like the panigale!!!
was a car guy... until i got on a motorbike.. its just another level of skill i’m afraid to say
Next vid can you compare English mustard to French mustard !!!!.
It's like comparing beast with feast.
At what point was this vs?
Paul, roads in the uk are not made for bikes, they're tight and straight. You should come to the north of Spain...
You need an s1000rr on the channel
For once I hope Paul watches this comment section, people are complaining about the camera angle, hope he reads it.
Get down to the box hill meet one Sunday morning
Nice Honda😃👍 with 10 hp more and 20kg less it would be even better but it seems one of the best sport bike for street use.
In mate black it looks great.
🇮🇹
Keep being careful buddy!
Becarefull with liter bike paul.. Its fast
Move the camera angle, have a look at how RJ films and take note...
Sounds like you have caught the bug, good man
lol
I got my cbr650r last week and have already put on 500km!
lol stalls first thing.. i love it lol
welcome to the inside of my helmet....ooh err
You must upgrade your motovlogging setup, the GoPro goes in front of your chin and the microphone connects to the go pro and goes into your helmet. Sorry my Spaniard English though 👍🏻
That's near Hertfordshire right?
What video recorder do u use?
Good on ya dude enjoy it
Love the motorcycle vids! Keep it up
Do your helmet up before putting your gloves back on. Will find it much easier.
Check out c2w on UA-cam on helmet set ups it will make it easier for you as you won’t need to do a voice over, I use his set up as a dash cam at the moment and I had no issues at all,
Yeah once you've ridden a bike you won't find that rush anywhere else.
I want a Cbr650f so bad
Check out chase on two wheels, he shows you how to set up a helmet camera and microphone, his video quality is too notch for this sort of thing
Love the video
Status of your Mercy????
You need to see the Kawasaki h2
Lol comparing a Ducati v4s with his lame cbr650 loool Its like comparing a motogp-bike with a scooter....further… seems scary easy to get the mc-driving licence if he has got it...he drives like absolutely shit. In my country you had been kicked out from the test if you drove as bad as he do. Unbelivable…!

OK Boomer
Stop !!! Learn on a Dirt-Bike first!!!
