- This is just the preview video for my next motovlog. While out riding with Bo Gnar Garage on the mini bikes, this guy on a Ninja 400 that he bought that day tried to show off and flew through a stop sign into a turn. He couldn’t turn in time and totaled his bike into a light pole... Full video with come out on Monday! DISCLAIMER: Video was filmed in Mexico

Hats off to the salesman who only sold him a 400. Give that guy a 1000 and he would be another statistic. Hurts to see a brand new bike all tore up like that though.
He’s already lucky he wasn’t a statistic. Could’ve easily been him wrapped around that pole

The guy yells 'don't call the cops' cuz he probably doesn't have a motorcycle license...or warrants lol
No one likes tickets. I've seen many riders go down. Most legal but still, no need to add to the problem. We Stash the bike and go get a truck.
No insurance, no license, speeding, ran a stop sign, doesn't know how to turn a motorcycle. Some people shouldn't ride.
so many reasons...
"Warrants"...u sound silly 😅😅😅😅
nobody expects you to have insurance registration plates on the first day you buy a bike...even if anyone called the cops nothing would happen unless he injured someone else. Maybe a ticket for no endorsement, pay it and move on.

That arm of his had some serious road rash..
Or the embarrassment
If you were to work in the service department of your local motorcycle shop, you would be surprised how often this happens. We were running at about 70% of the smaller Ninjas totaled before they hit 4,000 miles. Tow trucks bring them in for a repair estimate, we show it's 3x the price of a new bike, then the insurance company says they will think about what it wants to do. We would have them stack up and often have as many as 15 just sitting there. The best part was that it was a nice supply of parts for my racebike.
Nice supply of parts for your bike?
Sounds like theft to me.
Sounds like recycling to me. @@LuckyCharms777
How exactly is the repair more then the bike? This guy's running is scam
@@ChanChan-jk8pc
How don’t you understand the difference for parts and labor costs between manufacturing and repair shops?! 🤦♂️
I work at a scooter shop so we almost exclusively sell to first time riders, and we do crash damage ALL THE TIME. I’m the service manager of a small shop and I’ll bet we have 15k in pending insurance work as we speak. Best advice: don’t crash a Vespa! They are not cheap and the parts take 8-12 months to arrive on average. Vespas are sweet bikes but damn are they expensive to work on
Dude just ran a stop sign, says the guy riding down the sidewalk... 😂
Yeah but he is riding a "small" bike and he has a funky horn on it so he can do what he wants
And he ran he stop sign on a sidewalk. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

Years ago my friend’s wife asked me to pick up a CBR1000 for my friend as a surprise. After the salesman handed me the keys, I pointed at the brake lever and asked if that’s the clutch. I just started riding and definitely think something like this could happen to me. I'm watching as much videos, taking a course, and trying to be as careful as I can be with all the gear though.
Don't even say that... just remember to stay calm, not get over-confident, and ride your own ride. Don't ever feel pressured to ride outside of your comfort zone.
Just started my riding too. I only have like 40 miles out on my bike. Unfortunately the closest riding classes for me are about 50 miles away so im having just to teach myself. Those 50 miles are just from going up the street from my house and practicing in a abandoned mall parking lot. Best of luck to you on your riding journey!

And even after all the courses, you still may crash or die because nothing can save you for the all the impredictable things that can happen on the road while a riding, from cars doing a sudden lane switch with no blinkers to animals crossing your path and causing you to fall off at 100 km/h. Riding is like that it can turn from a relaxing ride in Saturday to a free ticket to heaven in seconds

*Shortened version: Yeah, sometimes 500/600cc is a minimum for people who are buying a motorcycle as their main and/or only transportation*
I agree, but once you talk about people who need to be able to do highway speeds, don't weigh 90-120lbs (most Americans + tall people) or just will have a 90lb PASSENGER, even then you might have human weight of 180 or 210
*Anyways,* weight/height drag + needing to go on interstate for commute + differing elevations..
Yeah, 500cc is minimum, I wanted the Rebel 300cc, cheaper, better gas.
But I winded up going 500cc for interstate speeds, also planning to use as main vehicle so it will have to be able to carry a 90lb passenger and also ~20-30 pounds, whether groceries, tools, electronics, clothes/duffel bags etc.
Classic example of target fixation. Going too fast, panic on the corner, fixate on the light post, continue to move when the bike suddenly stops. Nobody is completely useless, he will always serve as a bad example.

Once he dropped it off I got on and spent about half an hour on the bike just stationary while figuring out how not to stall the bike. Had gear on of course and eventually went up and down my block with barely any throttle. Then practiced turning on a curved road and went from there. Took me about another hour to understand the basics. You can learn on a 400. I got mine brand new but I never mistreated it. I understood the risk I was taking. People over complicate things and some just have egos thinking they know more than they actually do. Be humble and patient.
lol youtube university, where I'm learning my basics too then getting one next summer
Same as me. Had the dealership deliver and spent the first 200 miles of break in in my housing development learning. Then graduated to a little city side road streets to driving to work everyday.
I had to retake my skills test in March 2022 since I let my motorcycle license expire in 2018. I hadn’t owned a bike since 2010. I learned a lot this time around because I was on UA-cam University also.
I did that back in 2006-07 with M13 videos and got a ninja 500 as my first bike and did the same as you!!
This guy gets it
That man ran a s… and the “oh shit” realization hit.
“I’m good don’t call the cops” bro abs warrants fosho
A hard but necessary lesson. Anybody can go fast, but not everyone knows how to ride.
This was not necessary. I guess that is, unless you are an idiot.
Brand new bike, blows thru a stop sign, absolute definition of squid!
I would bet at least one of these guys didn’t have their motorcycle license.
How someone manages to crash a 400 is crazy
“I’m good, don’t call the cops”
The story of my life
I had a buddy who died at 26 on a bike and he wasn't an amateur...RIP Adriano! Bikes are to be respected...remember that whether it's you or someone else causing the accident, you will always lose. Most often there are no second chances.
Yup, the moment you lose respect for the bike is when it bites you in the ass.
amen to that. my buddy was involved in a fatal a few months ago, he had a year or so riding but he was speeding thru some back roads (100+) and a car decided to flip a u turn mid road and he ended up pinned underneath the car. Was about to turn 23 two days before he passed, crazy how instant everything changes.
That is truth
@jūn He said his buddy was going 100+mph.. Highly doubt his family could sue anyone when their son was driving recklessly. He basically killed himself at those speeds. We have speed limits for a reason. Theyre not there to take fun away from everyone to make us get to work longer.. theyre there because very smart people understand the safest speeds to drive heavy machinery that wont kill everyone on the road.. Dont forget when automobiles were first created.. they didnt even go half as fast as the cars and bikes today.. They were very slow and because of that much safer and no need for speed limits. Now we have cars and bikes that should only be on race tracks that are street legal and those are the vics that kill people the quickest because the rider never like following the speed limit.. goes really fast and has no time to react. You drive over the speed limit you better have a Will made.
@@ChristopherJones16 "very smart people*..
. You mean politicians
His mom "Honey what happened to your arm? Should I call the cops?"
Gentle curves are all that stands between this guy & being able to call himself a motorcyclist
Anybody else notice the dude's horn?? Lmao this is why I love motorcycles
Lmao didn’t even notice till I read ur comment lmaoo
🤣🤣🤣
He also has a BakerXderek key chain
If the grass wasn’t there he’d either be grated cheese or a pancake
Pretty lucky that the curb tossed him off before the bike hit that pole.
when youve been riding for 20 minutes and think you know what you are doing. Hell you can be riding 20 years and still be learning
0:30 he was showing off, how his bike is more powerful and faster than your 125cc
Wasnt much powerful after that wipeout
I bet the guys on the 125 cc are much better riders too. Only dumbasses think its about the bike. Its all about the rider.
Difference being that these other 2 guys are still riding safe and sound, while he, on the other hand..
Not everybody survives being young & stupid, this young man was lucky. He better thank his guardian angel...
how do ppl have the balls to just send it like that first day lmaooo
I’m just so glad you both instantly drove right to him to make sure he was okay, stopped mid sentence and everything. Glad buddy was able to make it home to his loved ones, a bike is replaceable but your life isn’t.
@@HouseHoldAdventures for what? U weirdo
100 percent will call the cops get him of the road
Well, he wasn't wreckless, he has at least one wreck to his name. Wreaking havoc riding recklessly like that though-

Ninja 400: just a scratch
The pole it ran into: massive dent
just a scratch? front wheel, suspention, radiator, full exhaust, all the front and side fairings etc and i wouldnt be surprised the frame is bent
@@joaomendes7989 bro... It was a joke... It's literally just because he rocket launched into a metal pole and the bike looked fine

“George, George, George of the suburbs-watch out for that curb and light pole!” 🤦♂️
Buddy probably walked into the dealership trying to get onto an R1M. Thank god that salesmen had a brain over a hole in his pocket 🤝
Some people don't need a motorcycle. That guy that just wrecked IS one of those people. 😳
or maybe he’s not used to the bike and just bought it😱
@@jukebox9175 So it's definitely a good idea that he go out without any gear on and not practice in the parking lot or anything.
I mean, after all, he just bought it.
@@edwardgiovannelli5191 we don’t know his story so we can only assume. dude is stupid though
@@jukebox9175 so it’s a good idea then to blow through a neighborhood next to a park while learning to ride? Are you related to this guy?
@@Lucky4zo dude clearly doesn’t have common sense and isn’t a good rider yet. call him stupid not me
