    I can't imagine doing five without including Bruno's stationery head at the tennis match.

    I am so happy that you did strangers on a train!! I would have requested this, but you already did it! Yay. I study movies, dialogue and gestures are easy for me to observe and comment on, but am less good at analyzing and properly appreciating visual factors -- your programs are helping me with this! Thanks, fabulous...

    Another classic. Would you ever do It's A Wonderful Life? The Quiet Man? Rear Window?

      You can expect a video on It's a Wonderful Life come December. Rear Window will almost certainly happen as well. I've still never seen The Quiet Man but have heard John Wayne's performance and the cinematography are unbelievable. So that's fair game too.

      Matt Caridi Alright awesome. Yeah, The Quiet Man is probably my favorite John Wayne movie right up there with The Searchers and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

    I'll never understand why Hitchcock didn't do Patricia Highsmith's Ripley. It is so full of suspenseful moments, complex emotional and sexual moments etc.

    Matt,
    Are you planning on producing any more Golden Frames videos?

      @PaulTesta Good timing on your question. I’m actually in the process of writing a new episode right now. I don’t want to make any promises I can’t keep, but God willing, I’ll be starting this show back up some time in June.

    Did he really describe Bruno as "effeminate"? What movie did he watch?

    • @eloraangelea
      @eloraangelea 3 роки тому +2

      honestly, bruno IS portrayed as “effeminate”. as many antagonists are in hitchcock’s films. while this portrayal maybe be more dialed back and subtle. it is still there.
