I have a 2019 mercedes b class. I can't access carplay because I have to buy this option from mercedes to be enable.. if I use this ottocast u2-air pro will carplay work?

I have one I bought two years ago for my 2015 Ford Transit connect. Works great. Just bought a 2024 Ford Maverick and their new Ottocast and it sometimes works and sometimes does not work. Now it is not working at all. The support to download the file is in Chinese and a video so not helpful.
