I have the same problem. I am a hobbyist. Makita junk. Professionals must hit this in the first days/weeks of use.
Same problem with my ryobi rj160v. I bought it new and only use if occasionally for wood diy stuff and now the blade works for maybe one cut, then falls out. It's not must Milwaukee.

Need to change my blade on djr 186 Makita
So, how do you know which size, etc, of set screw to buy, and where do you get them? It seems pretty rediculous to me that the set screw isn't included with the clamp.
I agree, I was disappointed mine did not come with the screw. You can now look further and get a kit with a screw. I could not find one when I did this. I will see if I c an figure out the size of the screw.
M8-1.25
Right Hand
9mm
4mm Allen hex size
So, i don't understand. What is the problem? I don't think the problem is with my clamp. The blade sits between the set screw and the other screw. I think I need the screw. Just not sure.
I guess it depends on where the threads are stripped. They could be stripped in the blade holder or it could be the set screw that is stripped.
you really don't need replacement, just re-thread the hole and put a new fit screw to do the job! be a real DIY person.
