It’s finally spooky season and we’re talking childhood crushes on Max. And Thackery. And Billy. And Max’s Dad... And the bus driver. The reason she brought Billy back was because they were over hallowed ground, which means it's been blessed by priests and all that so they can't set foot there so Winnie had to sic Billy on them
Unfortunately the guy who played Max’s dad Dave Dennison (Charles Rocket) died of an apparent ‘suicide’ (he was found in a field on his farm with his throat slit sometime in the early 2000’s). I had such a crush on him and was shocked when I read the news. I hate to hear of people suffering to the point they would do something so drastic like that :-(
I had to put my black cat down last summer; he was almost 21 years old. Now the ending of this movie hits different. 😭 "I shall always be with you" 🖤

Alison was half correct about the origins of Halloween. And I’m a little confused in hindsight that Winnie calls it All Hallow’s Eve and not Samhain.
People in 1690s Salem MA are unlikely to have ever heard the word “Samhain”.
@@spackar2720 All Hallow’s Eve is what the church made it though, that’s what confuses me, that she would refer to it as hallowed, like something she hates.

I was 11 when this came out and my brother and I actually saw this in the movie theater....I wish the time and circumstances were different upon seeing it. However, I LOVE IT! It's a Classic for me. Also, I'm not sure where you 2 live, but I live in the North East, (CT) and the Fall Season is as Gorgeous as you see on the screen here.

I really love this horror movie I understand it’s a Disney horror movie but it’s funny 100% I love it I don’t care what people can say in a comment section it’s one of the best Disney movies I love for Halloween it’s really one of the best it doesn’t need to be horror because let’s be honest it’s already horror the stories there and most of all the storytelling it’s so beautiful and the saw part of it The actor who plays Max he actually passed away 😢 so he did not actually make it to the sequel 😢 but one of my favorite Halloween horror movies❤
