As a bible teacher myself, i can say that the reason a good opener is so important before you even get to the pull out your bible part, is because a good opener is meant to put the room in the same frame of mind so now everyone in the room is on the same page by the time you actually get to the scripture.

“Change our export to wisdom.” “Offer truth once people get hooked onto wisdom”. That is SO GOOD!!!

Nothing wrong with preaching to youth for the rest of your life.. they’re just as important. Sometimes it scares me how people use the church strictly for business and their own personal pursuit in success. (Not saying that’s what he’s doing) Remember the number one thing that matters when preaching the sermon is that it’s holy Spirit filled & that the preacher is putting God above everything and can hear him clearly. Without guidance doesn’t matter how great of a speaker you are - Holy Spirit transcends everything!

As for sharing wisdom before truth. Reminds me how in prior decades 7th Day Adventist’s had huge success helping people with their health message. People want to be healthy. It’s too bad this message isn’t spread by that Church so much anymore.
    It was rad.
Anyhow… thank you gentlemen. Loving this ❤
Omar I am gaining so much real good from your podcast and guests.

  • @SnackerzVendingCo

Interesting statement this brother have spoken when saying no one wants the truth but everyone wants the wisdom. I too study the new testiment and First thing that came to mind is when Jesus said he was not part of the world.
I agree the world doesn’t want truth due to the multitude of sidetracking variables that was presented to humans in order to NOT want to know the truth. After all Who in they right mind wouldn’t want to know how to differentiate what’s “True” Wisdom from Plainly falling for anything. If that’s the case Without truth stupidity becomes wisdom. Again if you stand for nothing you fall for anything. God not some professor in school and his word ain’t just a class you can take, it’s say “draw close to god and he will draw close to you”‼️ It personal, no one can build and fine tune that relationship let alone qualify you for that wisdom of god but him. Seek and you shall find. Keep on the journey my friend it’s always refreshing discussing our father
