I've been to a conference with Maxwell as a guest speaker. He spoke for 3 sessions straight and I never heard a speaker where I'm on the edge of my seat and can listen to all day. The first couple sessions were for everybody and he was talking like you see in this video, very demonstrative. The third session was a smaller, more private group and all his theatrics were gone and he just spoke like it only you and him were in the room and you've known him all your life and he just took his teaching to another level. I was blown away. He's a true pro.

Wow! I just love that Mr Jackson had the audacity to encourage that line that became so famous! Real connection.
Without hearing this from John Maxwell, I have done this all my life. I have thereby been able to connect with my audience every time. I read a great book in 1981 or so written by Rev Fr John Powell titled What Am I Afraid to Tell You Who I am. The book reset my life ever since. If you lay your hand on the book please read it. I think you can find it online and may audio book version could be found.
