    I am learning so much from your method of teaching. Since I'm a beginner it would help me to see the photo more often to relate to why you change colors, where, and what is needed to set the mood. I know a lot is experience, but your explanations are so clear and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your talent.

      Thank you very much Betty, I’ll do my best to keep it up longer on the next videos! Sometimes it gets in the way of the painting, and then people say they can’t see the mixing, it’s a juggling act, Lol !!

    Thank you for showing what colors you use in your mixes. There are some painters who do tutorials, but they do not do that and really it is just a video of them painting. I have learned how to paint egrets from you. Keep posting, please. Thank you.

    Very nice! Your explanations are so helpful. The post in the foreground is much nicer than in the photo and the backlighting on the bird is perfect. Just wish we could see the reference photo the whole time. Thank you!

    I'm going back over all your paintings and each one is better than the last. These are just spectacular. Is there any chance you can explain more about blocking in and how you choose the colors? That part has me so confused. And what is the color you toned this canvas with before you started? I missed it. Thanks so much for your sharing your work.

    Hi Karim love the painting,love the tutorial on mixing colours,I have looked on the internet and haven't found anyone that just does a tutorial on mixing colours, say if you mix red and blue what you get etc. Thanks Jeff

      Thank you very much Diane, I bought this one at Michael’s! It’s one of those palettes where you can peel off the paint. Jerry’s Artarama has it too, I’ll see if I can find a link on Amazon.

    Lovely. can I ask how do you clean your palette afterward?

      I just used water by letting it sit on the palette for about a minute and the just scrape it off! You can even use a ceramic plate.

      He does, but you can’t make it out from a distance, plus this specific bird has dark eyes!

    The only problem I have with the tutorial as well as a lot of them, is not being able to see what you are seeing. I follow your moves and appreciate your teaching believe me, but it helps me digest the whole piece. But I assume camera shooting isn’t easy either
