Son you are a genius with your paintings. Mixing colors makes bright pictures of Florida. But how you paint your pictures is unique. Your a joy to watch. Thank you.
At last! An Acrylic painter of great experience!Your eye for colour is astounding and accurate, plus you explain to us your colour process…thank you! You have inspired me to pick up my brushes after sometime of absence at the easel!♥️🇨🇦
I am learning so much from your method of teaching. Since I'm a beginner it would help me to see the photo more often to relate to why you change colors, where, and what is needed to set the mood. I know a lot is experience, but your explanations are so clear and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you very much Betty, I’ll do my best to keep it up longer on the next videos! Sometimes it gets in the way of the painting, and then people say they can’t see the mixing, it’s a juggling act, Lol !!
Thank you for showing what colors you use in your mixes. There are some painters who do tutorials, but they do not do that and really it is just a video of them painting. I have learned how to paint egrets from you. Keep posting, please. Thank you.
@@susanrosales7669 sorry Susan, I’m looking into doing live zoom classes in the future where we can actually interact instead of typing ! It would be a full 1-2 class with Q&A.
Love your painting. I'm from Louisiana and have been looking everywhere for tutorials having to with the subjects you have done. So glad I found you. Loved this one!
Very nice! Your explanations are so helpful. The post in the foreground is much nicer than in the photo and the backlighting on the bird is perfect. Just wish we could see the reference photo the whole time. Thank you!
🎨Wow Karim what a pretty bird !! And how real your water looks !! I have to go back and watch again. Thank you as always for more great acrylic teaching !!!
I'm going back over all your paintings and each one is better than the last. These are just spectacular. Is there any chance you can explain more about blocking in and how you choose the colors? That part has me so confused. And what is the color you toned this canvas with before you started? I missed it. Thanks so much for your sharing your work.
Thank you very much Jeff, I’ll keep that in mind for future videos!! Although ton some videos I do speak briefly about it but I’ll put a little more emphasis on it!
This was awesome to do. It took me many layers to get the water to look like yours. I love it turned out great. What was the make and size of your first brush?? Did you use an extender or medium?? I agree if you could show the reference photo more... Thank you! Appreciate it.
I really enjoy the way you paint and the colors of the blues. Thank you. I would like to know where did you get your palette. I went to your other videos and I couldn’t find a description of your palette.
Thank you very much Diane, I bought this one at Michael’s! It’s one of those palettes where you can peel off the paint. Jerry’s Artarama has it too, I’ll see if I can find a link on Amazon.
Hi Karim love the painting, love the tutorial on mixing colours,I have looked on the internet and haven't found anyone that just does a tutorial on mixing colours, say if you mix red and blue what you get etc. Thanks Jeff
The only problem I have with the tutorial as well as a lot of them, is not being able to see what you are seeing. I follow your moves and appreciate your teaching believe me, but it helps me digest the whole piece. But I assume camera shooting isn’t easy either

This was very fun to paint but I must say I find painting the bird quite challenging
Thank you!! Describing white using other colors is hard!!
Born and grew up in central Florida now in North Carolina .I enjoy painting and really have enjoyed watching you and have learned much from you.

Hi Karim, I love this one! I'll be doing it in oils, though. Any suggestions?
Thank you Paul, you may have to do it in stages, unless you’re well versed in alla prima!
Lovely. can I ask how do you clean your palette afterward?
I just used water by letting it sit on the palette for about a minute and the just scrape it off! You can even use a ceramic plate.
Супер!
Thank you!!
What did you use to tint the canvas?
I used burnt sienna acrylic paint!

Why does the bird not have an eye. Annette
He does, but you can’t make it out from a distance, plus this specific bird has dark eyes!
Fantastic demo and great information on how to achieve a wonderful painting. Is it ok to try and replicate with some changes to make it my own?
Thank you!! Yes, absolutely you can!
Sorry for mistake - Mr.Gebahi Master looks better 🙂

Yes, the camera work isn’t really easy but my more recent video show the reference photo in a corner !
Acrylics are plastics! It'snot eco-friendly
Neither are oils!
