One of the best painting instructors around. I've attended Jane's workshops on the road, at her studio, and used her videos from her website. Jane is never fussy, always encouraging, and her method gets you results quickly. Her workshop supply list is affordable (she's fine with student quality paints and a few recommended brushes). Hers was the first acrylic workshop I attended and I've taken workshops from others since and her classes moved me forward like no one else. My favorite Jane'ism when you mess up something is "Don't worry, it is only a painting." then she shows you how to fix it. 10/10

Hi Jane, thank you for posting this brilliant video. After watching I purchased lesson 1 Sunflowers from your shop and I've already learnt so much from you. If anyone out there is considering buying lessons from Jane's shop, I can highly recommend doing so. I have been struggling to find lessons that explain this style of painting and stumbled on this upload purely by chance 🎉 and boy am I glad I did 😂

I have a large painting (30 x40) that was one of my first attempts at painting an abstract, and I don't much care for it -- so I'm going to paint over it in redish/orangeish and just plunge right in as I do this landscape painting. Jane says to be brave. Okay! I'm going to just DO it. I did another one of Jane's on a 20 x 16 canvas (the large floral in a glass vase) and it turned out okay. Maybe not great, but it's okay and it was so enjoyable. This loose style is just FUN!!!!! Thanks so very much, Jane, for sharing your knowledge with us!! You are greatly appreciated!!

Hi there Jane, thought I’d let you know that I DID a painting this week with covering the canvas in red/ orange as you instructed for the first time. I really did enjoy the challenge. A totally different look, as I’ve been board doing normal paintings. I let the orange seep throughout and loved the outcome going a bit wild and slap dash. What fun, looks fab , even though I say so myself 🥳So thank you, I’m excited to start another.
    🥰🖼️🌺💚 cheers 🍹
