Real respect for Scotty Jr., to work his way up from undrafted to the G League to the NBA all while having 2 looney toon parents airing their dirty laundry publicly.
Scottie Sr: "I wish I could blame my youth for being so incredibly insensitive," added Scottie. "I can't. There is no excuse. Why didn't I make a stronger effort? Perhaps I didn't want to deal with Michael's grief. Just as I didn't deal with my own grief when my dad passed away three years earlier. I've always been good at running away from that kind of pain."
I've known guys like Scottie before. He'll change on you and not take accountability. Mike is consistently who he is, he was always loyal to Scottie. He called things how they were in the Last Dance.
I know guys like you. Of you like someone better than the other then you'd be one sided instead of neutral. Cut the crap. You're prejecting what you're describing Pippen to be.
What about Charles? Isaiah? ... The list goes on and on. At some point, when a guy isn't on speaking terms with a whole bunch of people, maybe it's not all those other people that are the problem. Being good at basketball and being a good person aren't the same thing. It's great to respect Jordan for his work ethic and dedication to excellence. But don't look to him as a role model in relationships with other people.
Jordan has mentioned Scotty so many times on Last Dance and also in his Hall of Fame speech, always and always, in the first place, and always said that Pippen was his best partner ever in his entire basketball career. Jordan has never said a bad word about Pippen, never
Sean I'm actually disappointed that you would imply Jordan needs to "go on air to give Scottie the credit that he deserves", that's just disappointing to hear from you. How many times has Jordan done that throughout his career and without even needing to do it. Jordan often gave Scottie way more credit than he deserved, just to be supportive. Scottie seems to be the kind of guy that needs a lot of reassurance. Both Phil and Jordan did a lot to reassure and praise Scottie throughout the years, there is so much evidence of this.
Exactly. You literally just echoed what I typed earlier. I’m even more disappointed in Sean’s analysis than what Scottie said because Scottie has been consistently talking trash without ever once taking accountability for his own actions.
I have never heard Micheal Jordan speak ill of Scottie Pippen, but for scottie pippen not to call you and offered you condolences for your murder Father is unforgivable.
Just because we’ve never heard it, doesn’t mean he hasn’t done it behind the curtain. There clear animosity between the two men. Clear. There’s a reason Scottie adding pick the phone up.
If we know anything about MJ it's about how much he loves his Dad. Pippen crossed a line that he could never go back from. To MJ, Pip is dead a long time ago.
Pippen went about it all wrong if he had old grievances with Mike. He should have brought it to the source, to Mike in-person and talked it out. If Scottie needed to make some money all he had to do is ask Mike for a little help. i'm sure that MJ would've been hap[py to help him get paid. Now, back in Chicago if Mike didn't want to help him with his contract that's kind of fucked up, but off the court money Mike had no problem helping Scottie with.
Actions speak louder. TLD was MJ’s chance to showcase and cement the brilliance of Scottie. Dude pioneered the point-forward position and possibly still remains as the most versatile wing defender ever.
Scottie was basically the first person MJ mentioned during his HOF speech. I know Jordan is probably difficult, but I don't know how much I trust Scottie to tell the whole truth
You can give credit to someone, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're a good listener or willing to meet someone halfway. I mean how the hell do you go from being a good friend of Charles Barkley of all people, and then just cut him off in your life because he made a honest criticism of you as a GM or owner of your crappy nba team?
Jordan losing Barkley as a bestfriend... now it tells us whose the one with problem. Scottie being chill all the time and Jordan being egotistical ever since.
@BTM you gotta remember that MJ wasn't really upset with Pippen until he found out that Scottie didn't even acknowledge when his dad passed away. Scottie didn't go to the funeral or send any condolences. When MJ heard about this just recently that's when he Knew he had nothing else to say to Scottie. Because he realized Scottie hated him.
Do you also have a source for what you claim? Do you know the context? Because you can see here how quickly these kinds of things are adopted. I would be careful with these kinds of claims without any substantiation.
@@wingman-1977 Stephen A Smith... Very reliable person indeed...🙄 But no direct source and no context. And this is how the internet works. It's one big echo chamber
@@kenlen8029 You are a kid, aren't you? Thinking Jordan fanatics are against Pippen. If you grow up with Bulls, being a Jordan fanatic means you are also Pippen fanatic. Jordan- Pippen duo is inseparable in our mind especially during first 3peat. It's truly heartbreaking to watch this interview for Jordan-Pippen fanatics.....
@ No I'm not a kid but I was never a Bulls fan. You said it yourself, heartbreaking for fanatics. Kinda weird worshiping these guys. Nothing wrong with supporting them though obviously.
This would seem plausible if there weren't so many other people as well who also commented that Michael Jordan was difficult to deal with, including the calm and collected Robert Parrish. That's not to say Scottie doesn't have some flaws. Bear in mind that Charles Barkley also one time a great friend of Michael's also lost his friendship with Michael out of Mike's own accord. For all the praise Michael Jordan gives, I must say I've never seen him in any instance show a case of being willing to meet someone halfway. Yes he's praised scottie pippen and given him all the credit and so forth, but I've never ever heard him once say, I'm willing to sit down and resolve whatever it is with Scottie or whoever. Has anyone else?
@AnthonyGraeme Nobody wants to hear anything negative about Jordan. They're all yes men like Barkley said. So of any friction happen with Jordan, they're all team Jordan. It's not hard to notice.
It's hard to get with Scottie as he had beef with Barkley, Isaiah, called Jackson racist and spoke the worst about Krause when it was Scottie himself who signed that awful contract against the advice of MJ and Reinsdorf. Why blame other people for your mistakes. It must be hard for Pippen after all he's been through: divorce and losing your wife to MJ's son, the passing of his son, getting scammed by his adviser, not getting paid what he thinks he deserved and being always in MJ's shadow. I hope Scottie finds his peace.
Jordan had beef with Isiah and still does Jordan also had beef with Barkley and still does Jordan wasn't shit did you hear what his OWN blood sister said about him a few years? It's ok dude was a bad person.
@@lamontponder8783 Lots of players had issues with Isiah and the Bad Boy Pistons. Magic Johnson & Larry Bird is two of them that called things out publicly. Magic & Isiah finally squashed their beef.
You do know it was scotties fault about that contract. Jordan and even the owner told scottie not to sign that contract cuz he will lose out on more money. Scottie is one that disregarded what they said and signed it anyway. Now he wants to use that as ammo.
@@lamontponder8783wrong Isiah had issues with everyone back then Pippen was never friends Barkley said his brother was an ass kisser and his sister was mad cuz he was just giving her money..try again
BTM is so hurt over this breakup that he's overlooking this and making excuses to excuse Scottie for his behavior. I'm over it. The Scottie I loved from the 90's is dead.
They were never friends and Pippen was ALWAYS envious of Mike it’s why Pippen couldn’t stand being around Mike in Chicago cuz nobody paid him no attention and quick story..after Pippen choked in 1990 the city disowned him and he couldn’t show his face that summer because of it.
I just watched a video reel on Facebook where Jordan was teaching the correct way to do his Jab Step and while explaining how defenders will try to steal, he references Pippen. He didn't need to do that. He actually had a very high opinion of Pip and even his HoF speech he praises Pip.
@ No. PBD and Jordan stans are obsessed with Jordan. Not me. The interview was insanely bad and borderline disrespectful to Pippen yet here are Jordan megafans coming to the rescue of Jordan. They don't even care about Pippen and that interview. Just like PBD. It's all about Jordan and some stupid fake war they have going on that nobody with a brain takes seriously. That is my point.
Interesting take. I love Scottie Pippen. You said it right. Scottie Pippen deserves so much credit as a basketball player and as a man. Big up Scottie Pippen.
I'm 70+ female. His conversation has a lot of feminine energy. You are not always "friends" working with someone. Michael had a job to do, and Scottie helped. That doesn't equate to BFF.
Oh look, and 70yr old boomers saying Pippen giving off feminine energy. You remind me of my mom, the one that was giving off the masculine energy like a typical mad black woman. Stop ✋️.
I was thinking the same thing. Not just equating friends with coworkers but also the tendency to run his mouth and play victim without ever taking accountability for the consequences of those actions.
@younglove3362 He signed a contract that he is still whining about to this day despite being warned by others not to sign it. He has not recognized how his own behavior (like not going back into a playoff game or throwing a chair onto the court or the fracas in Houston with Barkley, etc ) has rendered him the criticisms he doesn't like. He does not acknowledge his own behavior as part of the reason the relationship with MJ has been broken. The difference between a child and an adult is the willingness to be accountable for his own actions. Secondly, men don't move like Pippen. He's out here exposing all his feelings and personal business about other men (but won't touch on how his ex-wife has humiliated him!). That's feminine. Men don't respect or respond well to another man moving and acting like a woman. Pippen is acting like he's on the Ricki Lake show.
It's sad that they don't talk anymore for sure. But honestly I'm not sure why everyone always assumes celebrities are so tight because they were teammates or co-stars on a TV show or something. Michael and Scottie played great basketball together but at the end of the day they were just co-workers. It's no different than two people who worked closely together in an office environment for many years and then lost touch when they no longer worked together. A few of these people do keep in touch and form lifelong friendships but it's not the majority.
Its really not crazy. Ive played in bands with people that really connect and write and play well together and we weren’t necessarily friends. We liked each other we worked well together but there really wasn’t a bond beyond that. Its a common thing especially when the goal isn’t friendship but something else that brings people together. Friendship is a possible byproduct but not relevant to the process.
I think because Jordan is so beloved by the masses that it's hard to believe he could possibly be that difficult. Listen, he's not a perfect human being, he's flowed just like anyone else is. Being loved doesn't make you perfect or flawless and faultless
I’m from Chicago and I’ve met Jordan several times. We even raced each other in our cars for my 22nd birthday in 92. For me, MJ is the most competitive person in the world. He’s just built different. It’s what made him great and as a fan and teammate you have to respect that. Btw, I won that race against MJ but he vowed to get me the next time in true Jordan fashion.💯
@ bad retort. Now I know. Didn't happen. Probably time to apologize to everyone in this comment section for such blatant dishonesty. The baby jesus is watching all that you do... the baby jesus knows what is in your heart son.
I'm from Chicago too. You haven't heard tons of stories of MJ being a jerk? Don't let your "fanship" over ride facts and truth. Being competitive is no excuse for bad behavior and character.
Im a Scottie fan But lets not go overboard i was Born in the 70's so i watched the entire Bulls run Scottie was a fantastic number 2 , but thats exactly what he was.And Scottie disappeared in a many a big games MJ NEVER ONCE !! i remember Scottie getting bullied punked out backing down MJ NEVER ONCE Scottie eventually got tougher,But Scottie wasn't built to be that guy
@younglove3362 I got no reason to lie , what are you a 12yr old and everything I said is facts I lived it watched every game on TV (WGN) SPORT CENTER EVERY MORNING was no youtube social media real basketball so no lies here youngster
I mean...he was fighting migraines and a back injury in a lot of those games but go off. MJ played with food poisoning but back injuries and illnesses that make you see lights are a bit harder to play through especially jumping around. He was in the MVP conversation without MJ in the picture but that tantrum put him in a bad light. I think he'd likely be like many other stars in that they'd lose to MJs team (once he had a properly composed one). Either way, MJ needed a strong 2 and Pip covered that role nicely.
@zpascal2800 I'm gonna put this to bed ,,IS MJ going pout and not enter the game and quit on his teammates? I don't think so,, but Scottie well that's another story
Grant Hill was the better player than Scottie was but injuries derailed that chance and he himself admitted on the NBA TNT Open Court show that Scottie won 6 and Grant never won in the playoffs and that matters in the long run. I do think Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway had more skill than Scottie but similar games but Scottie had no severe injuries early on like they did.
Dude, as much as I respect Scottie, the guy just has a chip on his shoulder. He made a bad deal with Chicago and had to be Robin to MJ's Batman for all those years. I wish he could just accept the fact that they were one of the greatest, if not the greatest, dynamic duo to ever play the game.
I think he has accepted that fact. I just think he's hurt by how Jordan portrayed him in the doc. And I'd have been bothered by that a lot, if I'd been a key member of someone else's success and turned around to watch them executive produce a 10 part ESPN series that got watched by everyone that painted me in a bad light along several lines of it. Jordan's the one that drove the knife in, not Pip. His stature is the only thing that keeps him elevated in 2025, and it's frankly sad that so many folks have not done the math on it. Magic, Larry, and co. don't have former teammates and close league friends coming out of the woodwork to disown their relationship with the guy like he does. That's telling.
@benjamin29471 i don't think MJ painted him in a bad light in the doc at all. Scottie did that himself by sitting out when the team needed him over his contract dispute. MJ just pointed it out because it was a pivotal moment in their time together. Also, it is no secret MJ was a competitive asshole. He wanted to win. Kobe was the same way. The fact is and will always be that those two were great together and I do not think either one should be speaking ill of the other.
@ Jordan didn’t spend a lot of time detailing his character flaws in the documentary. 🤷🏻♂️ Wonder if it ever comes out the real reason he was riding buses in Birmingham for 18 months…
@ I agree on them being great together. But Mike absolutely did spend a lot of that documentary embellishing his own ego while tearing folks that helped him get there down.
@benjamin29471 agreed. MJ he did not spend a lot on his own flaws, but he did address that he was asshole to his teammates because of his drive to win in the doc. He choked up and said "break."
For real, what does he want from MJ? Scottie says it will never be the same…NO SHIT SCOTTIE! The two of you aren’t dominating the world of basketball together as coworkers.
MJ never publicly said anything negative about Pip. I believe that some of Scottie's bad decisions are a result that contributed to the strain on their relationship.
He called Pippen 'selfish' several times on tape in The Last Dance. And personally approved putting the 6 years earlier last shot incidence into The Last Dance, which was allegedly about their last title season. Jordan was putting shade on Pippen to low key diminish his greatness, to make himself seem better.
@@phillipschuman4307 He also give Scottie props for guarding Magic, even though Pippen become primary defender for magic in only 1 game. He also said without Scottie Pippen, there will be no Mj in his HOF speech. And Scottie got a red Ferrari for Christmas from MJ So yeah, just selfish? Any more?
He made ot look like he and Rodman could run the bulls without Pippen when they were struggling and losing 📉. Those that actually know their history know this. Jordan definitely made Pippen look bad. He always did subtle things to Scottie while complimenting him.
@ Those that actually watched the last dance know that it very clearly showed that they were struggling without Scottie until Dennis finally pulled his head out of his ass
I still can't judge MJ for respecting his boundaries and always walking away from a relationship that clearly wasn't working. The idea that because they're great teammates, they're supposed to be great friends... Well, that's not a very realistic view of how men, especially highly competitive ones, behave. Respect and dignity always, but friendship can't be forced.
In the MJ-Chuck feud, I feel Jordan overreacted a lot, Charles Barkley has no problem calling out others with a reason and was as a front-office runner failing and failing with Charlotte, but in the MJ-Pippen feud, I totally understand why Michael cut ties with him, we can expect whatever kind of nonsense from Pippen now, most of the things he says in this interview seem off. We thought Scottie was a different kind of person but he showed his true colors after The Last Dance aired, with hints of that in the 94 playoffs when he denied to check in to inbound.
Fam...what are u talking about ur perspective changed because Scottie insinuated it was Jordan who cut the ties to the relationship?? Do u remember it was Scottie who admitted he didn't give Jordan condelences when his father was murdered?? Who does that? Mike didn't even know Scottie felt LIKE THAT!. Bro..as much as Scottie has bashed him..Jordan NEVER said anything bad about Scottie. So what he said he thought he was being selfish in the doc..and? Then Scottie turned around and goes crazy...now he was his best teammate....blah..blah blah...if u buyin this bs I have a bridge for sale for u!
I mean...Jordan did kind of make Pip look bad in that documentary that he got him to appear in. He didn't directly say anything but he did critique Pip's bad behavior which would be fine if Jordan wasn't a baby about his own behavior. Why isn't MJ friends with Barkley anymore? Personally, I think that what went on before the Last Dance was more indicative of the relationship and Pip said some extra wild stuff to sell his book while he was angry. But, it backfired. Who knows tho...
My gut is when Jordan texted Scottie to talk, Scottie got shitty and Jordan told him to kick rocks. Then Scottie went on his scorched earth tour talking trash about MJ. I would love to see them make up but I doubt it will ever happen.
It probably won't happen, amigo, both are stubborn,mule-headed,prideful,etc,etc,.hopefully one day they'll reconcile ( look at Kobe and Shaq, they did it ) before one of them passes away.
It's wild for Scottie to sit there and act like that during the interview when he said in his book that he purposely didn't offer condolences to Michael after his father was murdered. A lot of beefs and misunderstandings can be overcome with time, but knowing Michael's relationship with his father, Scottie knows that he imploded any thoughts of reconciliation with that.
Maybe. I think Jordan knew better and knew why Pippen didn't offer condolences. MJ gambled stupidly and paid a terrible price. Winners implicitly understand the responsibility and have the ability to accept criticism, where criticisms are due. This is necessary to move forward.
@@nwchristaMj strikes me as a nonchalant dude he doesn't take things personal until its really personal he could've forgiven pippen for everything but not feeling sorry for his pops
I've played college basketball D1 NJCAA and D2 NCAA. Far from the NBA, but the best players in my team didn't care much about how I felt about them as #2. It's another mindset, they were all business, highly competitive, not feelings, and we got along well. I've never called them difficult, ball hog,...I didn't have to be their friends, I was the help, I understood it. Scotty needs to go with his life, as a man I don't care how he feels about Jordan, he'll always be #2 in the Bulls, and live with that. That's life.
@@younglove3362it does tho. Not just his legacy but as a person too. Have you seen Phil's, recent interview? And his statements about mj and phil are over the place, which means he changed for the worse
@LMD98 Translation, he's speaking ill of Jordan, a player you and many others don't want to hear anything negative about so you're gonna put your best efforts into diminishing his already under rated polish legacy below where it is because you can't separate the person from his accomplishments. Watched the entire PBD interview. We ALL work with people we don't like. That's life. Why do these guys have to be friends? They don't. I played w/ guys in high school and JUCO and never considered some of them friends. Just teammates. Sorry, but this is being blown way out of proportion. They're grown men living their own lives. It's emotions, people watched and loved them together for years and now they're broken up. "They were such a cute couple" were they not? Always beating the shit out of everyone for six different seasons!!! They weren't cute they were beautiful. And lots of people fell in love but now that they're broke up it's sad or frustrating or whatever. You know this. Crazy lack of self awareness with these guys who never moved on from the old days.
My take is: Prior to the last dance, MJ and Scottie were friends. Scottie spoke incredibly highly of MJ at Scottie's HoF induction speech as MJ was his presenter. They bump into each other at games, hugging and talking. Then what happens, Last Dance is released, Scottie is a little upset; but he's more peeved that his ex-wife is dating MJ's son. It's all over the news, and Scottie goes off the handle and trashing MJ every chance he gets, saying some of the most outlandish sh*t. Charles Oakley and John Salley if you ever listen to their interviews when Scottie was trashing MJ, they stated MJ will probably never speak or acknowledge Scottie and will always be outside the circle of trust now. Fast forward to present day, Scottie can't backtrack on all the outlandish stuff he said, so he has to portray them as never being close and he more than likely regrets stating all the non-sense.
Jordan was always the person reaching out to Pip. But whn u skip his dad funeral & never consoled Jordan. How he gonna be a friend to a person that definitely don't phuck with him off the court
I feel you that's a teammate thing and public image doesn't make them friends however not reaching out to someone when there parent is murdered and not going to the funeral is proof their not friends.
I had a privilege to live in Chicago 89-94, the best years of my early 20's. Thanks to Scottie and Michael mainly. Bulls fever was insane. Riots were regularly breaking out in the black parts of city after Bulls winning Championships. Lost my car there. But nothing last forever, my relation with a girl from Chicago ended, Bulls were dismantled, got back to Europe and i will probably never see my heroes together again. Nothing last.
Mr BTM I feel your agony and we're probably of similar age. What was once perfect as a young fan I have grown up to learn more about the human beings that are Jordan and Pippen arguably the best 1,2 punch in NBA history. What is clear to me though is 23 and 33 were winners together and everytime they suited up they displayed a connection on both ends of the court that few duo'shave displayed. These young men are still growing up as individuals while playing the best of the best. These 2 legends are exactly that and there moments of growth I show gratitude for allowing me to see. I wish them all the best. 6 rings together and nobody can change that. Respect to o 23 & 33.
Because people can be coworkers and just work together to push out results without liking each other? Hell, Rodman's seems the most professional so far considering he's never talked bad about anyone on the team at all and always answers professionally.
@@younglove3362 They are all throughout the comment section defending Jordan like their lives depend on it. Guy who made the video looked like he was going to cry. 🤣
@kenlen8029 The guy who made the comment is sad. It was a fun time in the 90's and he equates to what all the Jordan fans want to believe. The difference being is that he's not Jordan bias. He actually likes Jordan and Pippen equally and gives him his prop. He wants Pippen to get along (they everyone believed that they used to) and come back together in a kumbyya moment. That's why he's extra wrong in his analysis in stating what he believes as opposed to what it really is.
Those were hard questions the interviewer asked. Ans Scottie is tired of answering those same questions, especially when they throw it back at him or criticize him for it. That's why he just gives diplomatic answers. He's over it.
You go to work every day, you give your best, then your free time is yours to do as you like. There's no rule that you have to socialize with your co-workers outside of work.
It’s a little hypocritical to ask for peace but critique the idea of them never speaking again. If two people can’t reach common ground, why interact for the sake of everyone else? Them disconnecting is what real world peace looks like.
Scottie did not complain about MJ. He just said what was in his mind at the moment when tough questions about his relationship with MJ off the basketball court were asked. In reality, they were good teammates but never good friends. Scottie did not feel he needed to sugar coat it. That is it. It happens all the time between teammates, colleagues, and coworkers. No big deal.
Scottie was asked those questions so many times. And everytime he answers them, the public gets bent out of shape with his honest answers. They just want to hear praise and good stuff. That's why I can't stand society. Majority of the thrive on being artificial which results in them being stuck on stupid.
I don’t understand why Scottie resents MJ. 1) it isn’t MJ’s fault that Scottie was a shit negotiator for his own salary while playing in the NBA. 2) It isn’t MJ’s fault he got the lion’s share of the media attention and glory. MJ was insanely great before Scottie even joined the Bulls so it was destined that MJ would always eclipse Scottie.
Scottie and Jordan had completely different personalities so makes sense they didn't roll together.... Scottie came off as more quiet southern boy who wasn't that sure of himself vs Jordan who was super extroverted and confident. That's why Scottie accepted that horrible 1991 contract for $18M for 7 years because he was a poor kid that was immature and unworldly. I always thought Jordan shoulda spoke up for Scottie to not accept that trash of a contract and I always thought that horrible contract made Scottie BITTER towards Jordan and the world and might still be! Scottie was Robin to Jordan the Batman of the most exciting team of the era and Jordan was making more money then he could print and Scottie was making only $2.5M a year and it was an embarrassing joke!
its unfortunate but scottie has a right to his opinions. It was never a walk in the park around jordan we know that now. It takes nothing away from their achievments.
Yea only soft mfs say that..jordan was that way..yes an ass mean rough over bearing..and look where it took.those men..u think youd know who john paxson was without jkrdan..or jud buchler...to be elite..you gotta be almost militant..u think tom brady was a nuce guy everyday..or bellichek...greatness is attained thru hard work and an insanity of obsession about ur craft..that seems sick to u or i..but thats because we havent attain greatness on that level..a level of immortality..and all them gu6s will be forever immortal because of jordans pushing..and this the thanx he fet 30 yrs later whinnung shmm f him .for botimg hand that fed him..thats punk shit
MJ was old school. He respected his elders and those who demanded mutual respect like Phil. He most likely gravitated towards the vets on the team because he had more in common age wise. We're not talking about the vets who were goof offs and drug addicts when he first joined the team though. As time went on and he became more popular he started to change. You could see it in his interviews. You have to remember, every minute of every waking hour MJ had someone trying to be around him and be his best friend. Over time that f's you up mentally. It's impossible for someone in that situation not be skeptical of everyone around you. Plus over time with everyone kissing your a**, it's hard to stay grounded. When Scottie joined the Bulls he was younger and didn't have the same interests as Michael did so they didn't have a deep bond. I think MJ respected Scotties abilities but, that's it. Scottie wasn't an Alpha and Michael was, and over time MJ only respected Alpha's because it's a form of internal competition. I guarantee that if Scottie was more like Kobe, they would have been a lot closer. With people like MJ, they need a challenge and once there isn't one they lose a little respect. I was born and raised in Chicago and was a Bulls fan before they even drafted MJ and saw his entire career. Being local and watching and going to the games and seeing thousands of interviews all those years, you got to see how his demeanor changed over time, and he did change. Beyond his athletic abilities, the one thing you can say about MJ was that he was very consistent and always very professional and respectful in his interviews. Nobody local ever thought MJ and Scottie were buddies off the court, so it's not shocking at all.
I don't see people buying Scottie shoes, tshirts or jerseys........MJ was is and will be iconic forever, IDK why Scottie complains so much about MJ, I agree is not a one man sport, but, Jordan was Magical to see, so excited, Pippen didn't have that electrifying style of play. He went to Portland and I didn't see him succeed on stats or championships.
It sucks. I remember seeing a clip of Michael in a box at MAYBE a Bears game. Scottie came up behind him and put his hand on Michael’s shoulder and Michael got up, and if memory serves, he gave him a hug. I had always hoped they were the best of friends. Scottie will always be my favorite player, and I knew Michael was difficult, but I’d hoped they were always the best of buds. Scottie was Batman to his Superman and one of the greatest 75 players of all time and he needs to be himself and not worry about all the rest. I know he’s had some tough times and I’m sure he’s hurt by the Doc and the passage of time. He’s genuinely an amazing talent and he needs to make sure that’s all they remember him for and not the mudslinging that has happened since. No matter how much it hurts.
Scottie came to Houston in ‘99. It was a sign and trade and he finally got paid by the Rockets. After an unsuccessful season, he blamed everyone in the organization (Barkley, Rudy T, etc.). He started a national feud with Barkley and whined his way off the team after one season. Houstonians were grateful for that. He’s a cancer and he always will be. I’m sure Jordan is an A-hole, but Scottie ain’t no peach either. He ought to be kissing his AIR Uptempos every night while kneeling at an Air Jordan shrine that he built with the millions of dollars Jordan helped him earn.
Barkley didn't show that he wanted to win. He didn't want to listen to the champion on how and what it takes to win. Jordan even warned him about it. That's why Pippen preferred play with the Blazers, despite lowering his role.
Scotty has been a major let down over the last several years. I have no respect for him as a man anymore. I will always respect and appreciate his time as a Ball player.
@kenlen8029 No, that's majority of the Jordan fanboys that never want to hear anything negative about him. And if Jordan was their friend then all of a sudden cut them out, they would literally cry and be depressed.
I grew up in Chicago and I saw MJ out in public 3 times in my life. I saw MJ and Scottie together at Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse twice after home games. Somebody do the math. If these guys only hung out a handful of times, what are the odds I witnessed two of those times as a 10 and 12 year old? Granted, there were other ppl with them. I can’t remember who they were, but it wasn’t the whole team. something isn’t adding up here.
I think Scotty should watch who he has around. When he was in the NBA his agent allowed him to have a terrible salary. And now he did not had anyone to warn him not to interview with this guy.
Y'all are delusional if you think Michael Jordan is going to get on his knees for Scottie Pippen and Charles Barkley and ask them for forgiveness. 😂 Michael Jordan doesn’t Scottie Pippen or Charles Barkley anything. Y'all have to stop thinking Michael Jordan is supposed to think like Y'all because it's never going to happen. If Jordan had the general public's mentality and mindset, he wouldn't have achieved and accomplished the things that he achieved and accomplished.
I'll say this about the whole thing, accountability has never been forced on Michael Jordan from anyone. His silence in an era of podcast, documentaries, UA-cam, Twitter, etc, only elevates him to an even higher plateau. He doesn't make public appearances speaking negative on other athletes, and he allows media and fans to speak for him, and the fact that he remains silent, not doing interviews because he knows these questions will be ask, makes it increasingly difficult for Scottie Pippen to maneuver through life in the sports world. Pippen after this interview should remain silent and refuse anymore Jordan interviews as Jordan doesn't do any. These are human beings, not robots and people have feelings. I live here in Alabama and I know how Charles Barkley rolls, he's an attention seeker and he's always been an attention seeker. He runs his mouth and he can get out of control with it. Jordan isn't a attention seeker so the two of them simply don't mix. Jordan is extremely private and Barkley is very outspoken, which is the reason Tiger Woods wanted nothing to do with Barkley, so let's place accountability across the board here. Woods is extremely private himself, see the resemblance? See the results from Jordan and Woods in dealing with Barkley? As for Isiah Thomas, it's all speculation as to why the two of them do not interact with each other. We will never get the truth with that because it's very personal and it's not for the consumption of the public to know about and I'll leave it at that seeing as I grew up in Chicago and know how some things roll. It just comes a time when some things in life are better gone untold, plain and simple.
Well said. It baffles me how strangers think they can tell Jordan how to live his life and he should “make peace with” He never says anything bad about his teammates and has only called out IT and has been consistent about it. I’m glad Jordan lives his life peacefully and never responds. A true champion even off the court.
Jordan lives off the reputation as a media darling. His gambling addiction, womanizing, knocking up his wife pre-marriage, overall rudeness to fans in public, etc. never got much exposure on the spotlight. He can remain silent about anything.. doesn't need or want the publicity with his large bank account.
“Hey MJ, I’m upset about how I was portrayed in TLD.” - “which part, the 99% of the doc that gave you tons of respect, highlighted the hellish upbringing you had and how you overcame, and how much I needed you to win all 6 of my rings.” - “the refusal to go back into the game when Phil designed the play for Tony.” - “when you took these years of fallout+hindsight and decided to double down on the decision? In your own words?” - “ya.” - “fuck you, Scotty. You did that to yourself.”
I can totally see Michael Jordan not having a relationship with Scottie Pippen. Granted, even though they played all those years, I could see Jordan just keeping it completely platonically. And not really sharing his world with Scotty. Hence why he said not having something that was never there. You can really see who and what Michael is. It’s sad, because I looked up to Mike, but the person he is.
Last Dance Scottie Was Butt Hurt , Jordan always reached out to him and raised him up in the public eye , He ended friendship when he spoke about Jordan’s Dads Death and funeral , he’s hurting off guilt , Jordan doesn’t have to forgive him or anyone, if you showed him who you are and the way you valued the friendship he don’t need to forgive you just too make you feel better
People like you are the reason Pippen is what he is. The only way you like him is if he sucks up to Jordan like you do. You don't want authentic Pippen.
Ego is very strong in both men. There is a very good reason why God Himself hates pride. Instead of giving glory to God for blessing them with their gift of talent and drive, they become more and more arrogant and entitled thanks to their accomplishments. I know, because I was similarly blind about my own accomplishments (though nothing like theirs). I was humbled by life, and I am so thankful it happened though life became much more complicated; because it pushed me to become a better man, and seek God's will for the remainder of my life instead of mine.
@@younglove3362 No brother. God loves you. have peace with God. Humble yourself, Accept Jesus and you will be saved. If i die today i know for sure and assurred that i will go to heaven bc of what He has done on the cross, not my own strenght by bc of Him. God bless man
The main reason Jordan played every game was because he cared about the fans. What if some kid came to the game to see Jordan, and he sat out. That never ever happened. Jordan clearly cares about people. But pandering to jealousy from a millionaire isn't caring. It's actually harmful to that person. He's not an asshole, he's a genius. You can't expect someone who aint stupid to do stupid things just because it's "normal".
Please, if Jordan wasn't paid millions then he wouldn't have played. Also, he retired twice so you can throw that notion that Jordan cares out the window. He cares if he gets something out of it.
Also, don't forget about the guy who hit the million dollar shot at half time in a game only to be rejected by the insurance company that paid out. Jordan led the campaign to have him paid, which was successful. Another example of him caring about people.
@ no it's not. Scotty could've been replaced with numerous small Fords, given the same opportunity. He got a chance to have three shots for four years, while Michael was being triple team.
Man what are you talking. Scottie was not the one who produced "the last dance". Scottie was not the one who celebrated himself as the GOAT...MJ did himself no favour with "the last dance"...It is true he could take it like Luke Longley and smile the past away. But that shit made him mad. In the end non of us played together with MJ...So calling Scottie a liar sounds akward religious.
@@lancemurdoc6744 I can tell from this comment that you didn't witness the Bulls in the Jordan era live. Scotty was fortunate to have been teamed up with Jordan. If Chris Mullin, Bernard King, Dominique Wilkins, or any decent small forward were paired with MJ, that person would be receiving the praise that Scotty receives. Pippen was a great DEFENSIVE player and a good but not reliable scorer. And I was a huge Knicks fan that HATED the Bulls.
@@williamwalsh1533no they wouldn't because they wouldn't of won and none of them wanted to play with jordan yall just worshipping a man he's a man he has flaws like all of us it's sad at this point
@ every word that comes out of Scottie's mouth is the exact opposite of what he was saying prior to the last dance for the past 30+ years, so its a lie. Use your head. He's making stuff up because he's mad about something.
Their are a lot of interviews where Jordan gave love to Scottie. Jordan was friends with Charles Oakley and got along well with Dennis Rodman. Jordan was even close with Kobe Bryant, and they had dinner together by the way. I'm not sure what happened with Scottie Pippen. I do know MJ was tough on some of his teammates though.
Kobe and Mike only got together to share CP. It's pretty common knowledge that Mike rigged up Kobe's choppa that day. A lot of people think it was Shaq but the evidence is pretty clear, it was MJ who rigged up that choppa probably over some CP beef.
I took away very similar things from the PBD & Scottie interview. I also caught the fact that they were both working out at MJ’s house and THAT is a relationship beyond just basketball. To me the most heartfelt moment between these two after they retired, was when Scottie walked into Jordan’s suite to surprise him during a basketball game and MJ’s face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning as soon as he saw Scottie. That tells me they were big friends beyond just basketball. I truly hope these two can fix their friendship before it’s too late.
I mean have you not seen him give Pippen credit a crapload of times. He even called Pippen the best player on the Bulls when he came out of retirement the first time
As a former Chicagoan, this hurts my heart. Some of my best memories were of my pops and I going to the UC watching them play. Regardless, his ex-wife's relationship with Marcus is so fucked up, that it's beyond incomprehensible.
I'm not letting any of that spoil what they did for this city. This city was more united than I've ever seen before or since. When an artist create art, and the people love it: it cease being owned by the artist: It is owned in the hearts of The People.
Patrick Bet David is a terrible interviewer and really disrespectful. All he talked about was Michael Jordan instead of asking him about himself and his upbringing and life. It was ridiculous. PBD should be ashamed of himself.
I get it. Michael, Scottie, Barkley, Rodman, Karl Malone, Stockton, Kemp, Bird, Olajuwon, Robinson, Magic, Isaiah, Dominique, and so on, and so on...... these guys were the faces of our childhood, and it hurts when we see that there was issues beneath the surface. It changes how we viewed these guys when we were kids.
Let's not put Jordan on a pedestal for his personality. He will always be the greatest basketball player in our memory, but it doesn't mean he can't be a selfish a**hole. He's cheated on his wife and he divorced her who supported him during his prime, which is completely fine by today's standard, but nothing to be proud of either. He's got his flaws, and one could easily assume that he now prioritizes his image (or brand) before anybody, even his own children. I think Scottie deservedly upset cause The Last Dance should have been about the Bulls and not centered on Jordan's perspective, and it didn't help that the editors highlighted Scottie's flaws with the front office and made it look like Jordan had to carry the team on his own. Let's also not forget Luc Longely was left out from any interviews, clearly a decision by Jordan and not the Director as he states it to be.
Just a little bit. People are being one sided and making up reasons why Pippen is bitter Especially with the shaming saying he needs therapy or Jordan's son stole his past prime used up ex Larssa Pippen. Then people wonder why Pippen only responds with diplomatic answers because no matter what he says, how many times he says it, people are going to bash him. He's over it.
Just because Michael isn't saying anything about the guys that he doesn't really talk to anymore doesn't mean that he hasn't made peace with it. I know sometimes you just get to a point where it not going to matter. The way I see it sometimes it's just better to forgive qnd move on. 😊
Michael never cared about recognition. He just wanted to play against the best and entertain his fans. Now that he's retired, he just moved on. Scottie hasn't moved on from those playing days, apparently.
I dont understand why people invest so much interest in the personal lives of other people. Especially, those in which they have no relationship with - Or ever will.
Hey enjoy the channel somewhat! I love your dedication more, I have a question and please do not think I am being rude, Is it genuinely a good idea for a man to be a “fan” of another human? I was taught by my dad that a man should never be a fan of another man and it’s not good for your mental health and he would refer to it as Beta Male, I hope he is wrong by the way! Just want to hear your point of view you seem to articulate yourself well , I should also mention my dad was a devout Christian who said the only thing we should admire or follow is Jesus Christ and to stay clear of ever praising a man For other ppl reading this comment and may get offended I will leave the definition of fan and please understand I hope my dad was wrong 😑 An enthusiastic admirer: This refers to a person who is a devoted follower of something or someone, such as a sports team, a musician, or a celebrity.
Ur dad was not wrong. I used to be MJ's BIGGEST FAN from '87 on but not after I found out how his pos dad took his older sisters virginity and raped her for years and MJ knew and offered her financial assistance only to let her house get foreclosed on smfh. Their mom told her daughter Deloris that she "better not get pregnant and bring any bastard children into her home" and she told their mom "well then why don't u keep ur husband outta my bed" smfh and when their mom confronted their dad he CONFESSED and his sorry ass mom still didn't take up for her own daughter smfh she just said that "this is not to be brought up again" and even threatened to put her in a girls home smfh. His sister wrote about it in her book called "in my family's shadow" by Deloris Jordan u can Google it and u can read the page right outta the book right there on Reddit. Worth 3 Billion and let's his sisters house get foreclosed on smfh and it isn't even just that but to put ur image over ur own sisters well being is pitiful. Long story short I'm no longer a fan of his and don't buy his shoes anymore. Your dad was absolutely right!!!!!
Jordan is the goat and from what I see following him through the years, Jordan is not an easy person to deal with "once you broke his trust". And Jordan is a person who doesn't forget, which is good and bad because holding grudges forever is not a good thing. At the same time we don't know what Scottie did to make Jordan very upset. This doesn't change Jordan's acomplishments and it still won't change the fact Scottie said bad things about Jordan in public, while the last dance only showed what Scottie did during that time. I lost respect to Scottie as a person and this interview will not change that. Since he published his book and bashed Jordan, that's it.
When those two got out on the break, it was beautiful. It was like they could read each other’s minds. MJ and Scottie together were the greatest force in the history of basketball. In the history of sports. Such a damn shame.
I felt the same way some time ago when Robert Parish told Cornbread that Jordan would bully and be mean to his teammates but I knew Parish was telling the truth - the man of few words. Crushing. So Jordan sings Scottie's praises in public but privately never had anything to do with him.
MJ was in a different lane gambling and nightclubs that Pippen couldn’t do. You guys don’t get it..Mike was playing blackjack at the high rollers table by himself with MAYBE one other guy. MJ was in a different lane. Pippen was always envious of Mike and they were never friends
I remember being a kid and watching Jordan torch the Knicks with the flu. He was so sick that he collapsed into Scottie's arms at the end of the game and Scottie carried him to the locker room. That image is still one of the greatest things that I've ever seen happen between team mates in professional sports. These guys should be 80 years old sitting on a rocking chair on the front porch cracking on each other Like Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence at the end of "Life". I just watched Michael Cooper get his jersey retired and so many of his old team mates showed up to give him love. Those Showtime Lakers still call each other by nicknames that they gave each other 40 years ago. I hate seeing what's happening with Pippen and MJ. I don't care whose at fault. I just hate to see it.
@@Felipemondragon1 I watched every Bulls game in the 90's that was on TV. The reason why "Jordan with the flu" is a thing is because it happened more than once. The Jazz game was the last time that it happened and it was actually food poisoning. The flu game against the Knicks was what I was referencing. There was another flu game where Jordan went off. that was the first game. Pippen didn't have to carry him off of the court for the first game.
Real respect for Scotty Jr., to work his way up from undrafted to the G League to the NBA all while having 2 looney toon parents airing their dirty laundry publicly.

So true!
Scotty Jr. can really hoop. He's better than Bronny for certain and there are starting point guards in the NBA today that he can outplay.
FOR REAL! 🤷🏿
I've known guys like Scottie before. He'll change on you and not take accountability. Mike is consistently who he is, he was always loyal to Scottie. He called things how they were in the Last Dance.

Jordan has never said a bad word about Pippen, never
Pippen mentioned Jordan too. 🙄

@TayGee-mh8eo
Accountability for WHAT?
That’s what people don’t get..they never hung out away from the team functions or basketball.
Its really not crazy. Ive played in bands with people that really connect and write and play well together and we weren’t necessarily friends. We liked each other we worked well together but there really wasn’t a bond beyond that. Its a common thing especially when the goal isn’t friendship but something else that brings people together. Friendship is a possible byproduct but not relevant to the process.
exactly , it is no difference , just co-workers with a lot of success
I definitely agree with that.

Wonder if it ever comes out the real reason he was riding buses in Birmingham for 18 months…
They were just co workers, Scottie need some friends and therapy.
For real, what does he want from MJ? Scottie says it will never be the same…NO SHIT SCOTTIE! The two of you aren’t dominating the world of basketball together as coworkers.
Yeah he’s gotta grow from it. Life ain’t high school feelings
Yeah, he needs therapy!!!!!
😂😂😂
Why do Scottie needs therapy, look like he could careless tbh
MJ never publicly said anything negative about Pip. I believe that some of Scottie's bad decisions are a result that contributed to the strain on their relationship.
He called Pippen 'selfish' several times on tape in The Last Dance. And personally approved putting the 6 years earlier last shot incidence into The Last Dance, which was allegedly about their last title season. Jordan was putting shade on Pippen to low key diminish his greatness, to make himself seem better.
@@phillipschuman4307
Postponing that surgery was selfish as all hell
@@phillipschuman4307
He also give Scottie props for guarding Magic, even though Pippen become primary defender for magic in only 1 game. He also said without Scottie Pippen, there will be no Mj in his HOF speech. And Scottie got a red Ferrari for Christmas from MJ
So yeah, just selfish? Any more?
He made ot look like he and Rodman could run the bulls without Pippen when they were struggling and losing 📉. Those that actually know their history know this. Jordan definitely made Pippen look bad. He always did subtle things to Scottie while complimenting him.
@
Those that actually watched the last dance know that it very clearly showed that they were struggling without Scottie until Dennis finally pulled his head out of his ass
Exactly. Jordan is very petty.... he just knows how to hide it. Perhaps with Scottie being Jodan's teammate for years, he just knows how Jordan is.
Maybe Scottie didn't care about a rapist dying. The way some people defend Jordan at all costs is crazy.
@ I hope but I’m like you, highly doubtful
It's wild for Scottie to sit there and act like that during the interview when he said in his book that he purposely didn't offer condolences to Michael after his father was murdered.
A lot of beefs and misunderstandings can be overcome with time, but knowing Michael's relationship with his father, Scottie knows that he imploded any thoughts of reconciliation with that.
this
Maybe.
I think Jordan knew better and knew why Pippen didn't offer condolences. MJ gambled stupidly and paid a terrible price. Winners implicitly understand the responsibility and have the ability to accept criticism, where criticisms are due. This is necessary to move forward.

This makes the most sense to me at the moment.

Rodman said he never talked to Pippen or Jordan off the court in 3 years in Chicago. Why is this surprising.
Because people want to believe what they want instead of accepting the facts for what they are.
It isn't. Not to me.
Because people can be coworkers and just work together to push out results without liking each other?
Hell, Rodman's seems the most professional so far considering he's never talked bad about anyone on the team at all and always answers professionally.

I disagree, co workers are not always friends. Just cuz we won together does not mean anything other than we work good together.
WE DONT KNOW WHAT ZEKE BARKLEY OR SCOTTIE DID BEHIND THE SCENES LEADING UP TO MIKE CUTTING THEM OFF EVERYONE GOT A CUT OFF DATE EVENTUALLY 💯
You gotta take Scottie's remarks with a grain of salt, this is the same person who said Phil Jackson was a racist.
He was.

Y'all are delusional if you think Michael Jordan is going to get on his knees for Scottie Pippen and Charles Barkley and ask them for forgiveness. 😂
Michael Jordan doesn’t Scottie Pippen or Charles Barkley anything.
Y'all have to stop thinking Michael Jordan is supposed to think like Y'all because it's never going to happen.
If Jordan had the general public's mentality and mindset, he wouldn't have achieved and accomplished the things that he achieved and accomplished.
And Scottie and Charles shouldn't care either. As Charles said I got a ego too
I'll say this about the whole thing, accountability has never been forced on Michael Jordan from anyone.
I can totally see Michael Jordan not having a relationship with Scottie Pippen. Granted, even though they played all those years, I could see Jordan just keeping it completely platonically. And not really sharing his world with Scotty. Hence why he said not having something that was never there. You can really see who and what Michael is. It’s sad, because I looked up to Mike, but the person he is.
Pippen has proven himself to be a loser, to be honest. Dude owes Jordan every single one of his rings and spot on the dream team.
God hates what he created. So we're all doomed anyway.

He certainly didn't care about Chamillionaire and many other fans.
Also, don't forget about the guy who hit the million dollar shot at half time in a game only to be rejected by the insurance company that paid out. Jordan led the campaign to have him paid, which was successful. Another example of him caring about people.
@@StephenMack24077 Maybe he owed MJ some money........
Michael, believes that you treat people, the way YOU would want to be treated. When people can't do that, he moves on. I understand that.
Jordan didn't need Scottie. If you replace Scotty with Ron Harper in the same era, Jordan wins the same amount of championships.
Boi you know that's a damn 🤥
@ no it's not. Scotty could've been replaced with numerous small Fords, given the same opportunity. He got a chance to have three shots for four years, while Michael was being triple team.
I dont understand why people just accept Scottie's lies and drama as fact when we have 35 years of evidence going against him.
Facts. And there were so many times when Jordan had to carry the team because Pigpen wasn't providing adequate scoring support.
I loved the interview.. watched clips and each was more interesting than the last. Great interview
@@jennyanydots2389wtf is wrong with you?
@@jennyanydots2389 I think you dropped your screws.
@ Until MJ rigged up the choppa
@ That's races brugh
I took away very similar things from the PBD & Scottie interview. I also caught the fact that they were both working out at MJ’s house and THAT is a relationship beyond just basketball. To me the most heartfelt moment between these two after they retired, was when Scottie walked into Jordan’s suite to surprise him during a basketball game and MJ’s face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning as soon as he saw Scottie. That tells me they were big friends beyond just basketball. I truly hope these two can fix their friendship before it’s too late.
I respect your passion man 💪🏾
I mean have you not seen him give Pippen credit a crapload of times.
When an artist create art, and the people love it: it cease being owned by the artist:
It is owned in the hearts of The People.
Sounds like you're in your feelings and can't separate them.
Scottie been throwing shots at Mike for 30 years man. It's only so much you can take
Translation, you don't like hearing anything negative about Jordan.
One thing I do like about this modern Pippen development is that he's acknowledging just how good he was.
It changes how we viewed these guys when we were kids.
...Why?
Charles Oakley was MJs best friend ❤😂🎉
Scotty lost his ex wife to Jordan's son.... thats crazy
Agree with you once again buddy, great take!
If he had gotten paid like Jordan, he would be quite and maybe happier.
Just a little bit. People are being one sided and making up reasons why Pippen is bitter
Especially with the shaming saying he needs therapy or Jordan's son stole his past prime used up ex Larssa Pippen.
Jordan doesn't say anything anymore, he let's everyone else talk...pretty sure he's not holding on, he just moved on.
Michael never cared about recognition. He just wanted to play against the best and entertain his fans. Now that he's retired, he just moved on. Scottie hasn't moved on from those playing days, apparently.
@@thewolfofwallstreet627 Yea he only made a 10 episode documentary about it a couple years ago. Totally doesn't care or talk. Nice logic.
Dont forget that we are here because of the love of the Game, not because they were good people.
I dont understand why people invest so much interest in the personal lives of other people. Especially, those in which they have no relationship with - Or ever will.
Hey enjoy the channel somewhat! I love your dedication more,
I have a question and please do not think I am being rude,
Is it genuinely a good idea for a man to be a “fan” of another human?
I was taught by my dad that a man should never be a fan of another man and it’s not good for your mental health and he would refer to it as Beta Male,
I hope he is wrong by the way! Just want to hear your point of view you seem to articulate yourself well , I should also mention my dad was a devout Christian who said the only thing we should admire or follow is Jesus Christ and to stay clear of ever praising a man
For other ppl reading this comment and may get offended I will leave the definition of fan and please understand I hope my dad was wrong 😑
An enthusiastic admirer: This refers to a person who is a devoted follower of something or someone, such as a sports team, a musician, or a celebrity.
There's an old saying, "never meet your heros..."
You don't know either of these guys and what went or goes on.
@@mannyneva1760 Oh wow what a cool guy! lmao give me a break.
It was against Utha Jazz in the finals
@@Felipemondragon1 I watched every Bulls game in the 90's that was on TV. The reason why "Jordan with the flu" is a thing is because it happened more than once. The Jazz game was the last time that it happened and it was actually food poisoning. The flu game against the Knicks was what I was referencing. There was another flu game where Jordan went off. that was the first game. Pippen didn't have to carry him off of the court for the first game.
wasn't the Flu game against the Jazz in the Finals?
lmao@believing he had the flu.
