The a-10 fires alot faster though, it would understandably be difficult to match the a-10's brrt soundtrack to the Ares.

the whole game is a placeholder, it's alpha. Of course there'll be a huge and gradual pass to sound effects, just like the UI has basically been completely replaced. All the weapon sounds suck right now except maybe missiles
