I’ve had a fantastic experience with red light therapy for my skin, especially for improving skin complexion and reducing wrinkles. I am definitely on board with LED!. I didn’t really know much about its cosmetic uses until recently. As an OT I was aware of the therapeutic uses in healthcare (wound healing, muscle pain…)

@@beyond50skin lol! I had the treatment. No visible difference but the therapist said I'd need them twice a week for 6 weeks then once a week to see a difference. She also said that the in clinic machine was 4 times as strong as the at home versions. It's so subjective tho, the difference it may make. I guess you just have to bite the bullet and try it!

I was all keen on the medical grade when I had access to the salon & during my training; but now that I’m not working at the salon I can’t be bothered to hike in or pay… so have gone to the at home method. I’d love a Dermalux / much closer to in-office higher dose units, but alas it is VERY pricey!

I have yet to try the maysama. I get paid this friday so I might just have to use your code and get me a bottle. I love my red light mask. I usually use isntree's green tea toner (more in my price bracket) but if the maysama lasts that long then it equates to buying 9-10 bottles of green tea toner every year. I suffer badly from S.A.D. and can really feel my mood plummet once the dark evenings arrive. I find the red light helps to even things out mood wise as well as all the benefits for my skin, pain and thyroid. Yeah, defo love my mask. Gonna try to get the kids to use it too. My son starts work at 6:30 every morning and finishes around 4:30 every afternoon. He works in a factory with no windows. He's not seeing any daylight at the moment and his stress levels are through the roof as a result. Hopefully I can convince him to lift the mask. I think it would do him the world of good mood wise. You're looking fabulous. Your skin is so good.

I was so surprised you get so many pumps out of the Maysama serum. I know people say to use two or three pumps, but I only use one per the instructions by Bev. I’m so excited to hear that Red light therapy is really helping you with your mood. I am fortunate to now live in a very sunny climate, and it makes such a difference. I really hope your son gives it a try. Maybe he’d be better off with a panel as opposed to a mask? HI I wondered if anyone that has Melasma has noticed any difference as far as pigmentation? Has it helped or made it worst? I am seriously thinking of purchasing but scared that may cause my melasma to worsen.
Hi, Thank you for your question.
If you have true melasma, I highly recommend you seek out a dermatologist for treatment. Melasma is medically treatable and in my humble opinion beyond the scope of cosmetologist’s expertise, unless practicing under an MD. That being said, before starting any at home skincare device I recommend discussing it with a medical provider. From my current readings & research (studies are always changing our practice recommendations) Red light typically reduces pigment where as recent studies are showing an increase in melasma with the use of blue light.

Agreed! Appreciate your comment. They must me listening to our feedback. I noticed the one I purchased in Nov. is less orange & less sticky. I still use it exclusively for my LED routine (usually PM). That way any tint is gone after I rinse in the am.💜💕
