Thank you.. 🤗 I have the Omnilux face mask (about a year now) I just bought the Mito Red light about a week ago. I am so going to add this serum 15 minutes before doing my Red light. Enjoy your journey in life and keep sharing, Mary!
Thanks so much! I'm thinking about getting a panel too. How do you like it compared to the face mask? I use that and the Neck & Dec mask very regularly.
@@SkinObsessedMary I bought Mito Mobile add PENNY for 5% off. I bought it to travel with. I am actually going camping for a week with a group and wanted to be able to continue, so I bought it for that..😂🤣 I do not have the neck or the hand from Omnilux. I feel the benefit of the Mito Red does my face and my neck. It comes with a little stand, sunglasses and nice padded case.
Rooibos brilliant with red light SO does it work if you put it in your scalp for those who use red light for hair growth. No one has answered this question 🙋♀️
It’s a great question! I spoke with Maysama and the data suggests that the API green rooibos ingredient would be beneficial for use with our hair growth comb also. They also said I could share that they have a formulation launching next year which will be suitable for this application. I can't wait myself!!
very nice interview thanks Mary, the skin of these two ladies look amazing, if you are interested in slowing the ageing of your eyes using red light therapy if you are 40 and over we have glasses for that
Cold pressed refers to the process used for oil extraction - basically no heat used. The term ‘Pressed’ used in Maysama is more aligned with the use of this term in Korean Beauty, which infers a concentrated formula. I hope this helps!
I bit the bullet and bought the mito red light with the maysama serum. I’m very excited to see improvement in my old lady skin. I believed I was doing the right thing having seen the study of red light with and red light without but now having watched this interview I’m more than happy with my decision. My only issue is my skin seems to be struggling with being super dry. I’m hoping it’s just adjusting to the new therapy and will adjust over time. Thanks for such an informative interview and super formulated product.
I think you'll be super pleased! Of all my devices, LED is the one I'd grab from a burning house 😂. And I won't LED again without Maysama. In fact they ran out a few months ago so I purchased 3 bottles yesterday to make sure I don't get stuck 😁 A panel is next on my list too! As for dry skin, I've been suffering these winter months myself. Do you use a face oil? I find it works wonders...
Thank you! I bought this serum when you recommended it but I've been using my light mask for double time(if a thing's worth doing it's worth overdoing). I will stop that! I love your curiosity and enthusiasm!
Aw, thanks so much! Yes, I'd definitely stick to the recommended amount (from the manufacturer). Mine is 10minutes 5 days a week and while I was doing it every day, I've reduced to every other myself.
Hi Mary as a guy I have just purchased the new Men's Omnilux mask and watched your interview with Beverley which was so interesting! I have just purchased the serum as well! Looking forward to trying the mask and serum, great interview!
Thank you Mary and Bev! So interesting and informative. I just bought my first bottle of Maysama serum. Curious if serum is OK to use if I apply tretinoin and moisturizer after LED mask session. I use my mask at night.
Hi No one is talking about how this feels on the skin. Is it meant to feel really dry and tight while waiting 20 minutes before LED light. I feel I need to wash it off after. Can’t get any answers and no one is saying how it soaks in reel quick and feels dry
That's a really good point! Yes, it dries in pretty quickly and feels a bit tight on the skin. If I was wearing as part of my skincare routine, I'd be layering with hydrating products. Once I've done the LED mask, I just apply my evening skincare routine right on top. No need to rinse off
Mary, I once read that ‘more isn’t better’ when it comes to red light therapy, meaning that doubling the time to20 minutes or masking more than five times a week won’t produce better results. What is your sweet spot with masking? Do you mask for 20 minor more than 3 times a week?
You're absolutely right - more isn't better and you should definitely go with the manufacturer's instruction. Mine (I have 2 difference face masks) are 10 minutes each. The Maysama serum I use isn't a mask, just an antioxidant serum that helps protect skin. I apply and wait 20 minutes before I use the LED light. I did another video about it if you want to check it out: bit.ly/3StXr8R
Thanks Mary and Bev. I just purchased a current body led mask using Angie from Hot and Flashy's discount code and now the awesome sounding Maysama serum using your code. I absolutely love the community of women supporting each other via UA-cam world-wide. Well are a sisterhood. Much love from your‘sister’ in the UK. X
No way! How'd you manage that? I start to get a bit nervous when they sell out because it's an absolute mandatory in my routine now. I try to always have a backup on hand, just in case!
The Tweakments Guide. Let’s hope it’s the real thing! By the way - your skin looks gorgeous. I use a lot of the items you recommend already, which is why I trust your judgement. Am looking at the mouth guard, next…. It really makes such a difference????
And you say you still use Vitamin C serum? I do like my Timeless, even though I am experimenting with others at the mo. Medikate and Needless Serum. Obagi. Bit of a Serum w….e!!! Which is your favorite?
@@lisaviv yes it’s definitely the real deal because I know Bev stocks it there. Well done! And yes…I completely believe in Oralift and the difference it makes 🙏
Hi Diana, side effects - I don't think so. It's just a really effective antioxidant serum. As for layering I do know that some products can block the light so I personally wouldn't layer anything else with it. This serum alone in conjunction with LED therapy is what gives it a boost.
Is anyone finding skin dry and tight when applied. No one will answer this question which is worrying . I have put on after cleaning on dry and tried damp. I am going to use it as maybe I’m missing something but as soon as I have done my LED I am removing. I have used for a few weeks and it is soaked in real quick and then tight . Unless I am doing something wrong I won’t repurchase or recommend
My skin feels dryer than normal after using the Maysama, BUT after finishing my led treatment (with Maysama) I put on my normal evening skin care- retinaldehyde, moisturizer and rosehip seed oil so my skin is hydrated and moisturized. I really like the combination.
I couldn't exactly answer that but the green rooibos tea is comes from a specific region and if harvested using a patented process. None of that is inexpensive. I know it's not affordable for everyone, which is a shame.
There isn’t any clinical research on this. She has been asked for it numerous times and she goes radio silent. This is marketing and not science. As a research scientist myself, I am insulted but this nonsense.

Hi Mary. My question is about layering the serum...does it have to be used alone prior to red light? Are there any side effects that you know of?
Hi Diana, side effects - I don't think so. It's just a really effective antioxidant serum. As for layering I do know that some products can block the light so I personally wouldn't layer anything else with it. This serum alone in conjunction with LED therapy is what gives it a boost.
What about peptides like niod? Can I layer that as it is know that peptides are good with led light therapy too.
Having already read the instructions I am a bit confused as to how i know if I have EMS on or off?
Which product are you talking about?
Why don't they put it in a clear bottle so you can see how much you have
I'm pretty sure it needs to be protected from the light but I do agree....I hate the surprise of an empty container...
