I can’t get over how cute your hair looks!! I love the natural colour. You’re so beautiful 😭🥰
Awe thank you!!! 🥺🥰
I’d love to see more repots, maybe more Q+A’s or spooky story times with the repots? 👀
Yessss 🪴🖤
YAASSSS!! More repot videos! I have a ton of repotting to do too and it would be nice to have a friend to repot with. 😊
Yayyyyy perfect!!
Upload ALL the re pot and chores! I love it. I watch while I re pot too. It’s motivation 🌿💕✨
Same here!!!
I love reporting and plant chore videos. In fact I love all of your videos. You are so cute and sweet.
Awe thank you so much!!
Could the moss pole be pulling water down into the root ball and keeping it too moist? Maybe the terracotta will help.
Because it's losing multiple bottom leaves at once and those markings on that bigger leaf have shown up definitely indicates root rot. I wouldn't worry though, just slow down on watering to let the roots recover. Have you been wetting the moss pole very often? Because that could be preventing the soil from drying out properly. The root rot is probably also the reason that new leaf hasn't emerged yet, if the root rot is really bad it could abort that leaf but the next one should be fine. Also, I remember you saying that there were some comments telling you not to pot plants too deep in the soil, but in my experience, it can actually be beneficial because the plant often activates the aerial roots on those nodes that can help create a more robust root system. With a bit of TLC I'm sure it'll be completely fine though!
If it's rotted it would likely be from under-watering 😩 that's the way my plants rot. They get too dry and the roots shrivel up. I hooope he recovers, I am going to keep a very close eye! Can't wait to give a (hopefully positive 😅) update lol! Thanks for your advice 💚
@@wildfern Ah yeah, I feel ya 😩 In my experience they recover pretty well, but fingers crossed 🤞 I'll keep an eye out for an update 👀
give the plastic pot, a lot of holes round not to big, I love to give my plant also some nice and fresh water, not to much, I spray water for humanity every day, and with he pots with holes around,{ with automatic holes drill screwdriver},
the plant grows too much now, because he got fresh H2O, oxygen... into your wet massy soil..
it works and love your videos.. 😁
yesss i love the repotting videos! bring them onnnn and keep em coming
So glad you like em!!!
Repotting videos are honestly my favorite! They're great to watch while doing chores or hw, idk something about them. Especially when there is talking as well (such as a Q&A and/or talking about plant stories).
Yes give use all the repot videos! I love them so much!
Please give us all the repotting videos!!! They are my fave as well!!! 🥰🥰
I agree with other comments here. Before you pulled the rootball out of the pot, I thought the yellowing looked like root rot. If it were my plant I would probably have pulled some of the roots apart to see how bad it was, but it can be risky of course
Hopefully it will be okay! It’s a stunning plant. I saw you mentioned in a comment reply that if it rotted, it would likely be dry rot due to you underwatering. The terra cotta is only going to add to the drying out, but I’m sure you already know that. Best of luck with your beautiful plant!
I love your repot videos, so I'd definitely be down for 20 repot vids :)
You could post 40 repot with me videos and I’ll watch every one of them 😂 I love them, gives me motivation to work on my plants lol
I love repot with me's and watering videos
Vicariously living through you with this gorg specimen after mine croaked! 👁️🌱💚
wahhhh 😩 still so sad that yours bit the dust x
@@wildfern Tell me you're a Canadian Plant Parent without telling me you're a Canadian Plant Parent...😜
Yes! I'm here for all the repots!
Definitely a fave to do and watch 🥰
Love all your videos. Re potting videos are fine. I think we're all doing that right now with the spring time!! It's nice to watch and repot together!
I love me a repot video - keep em coming girl ! 👍🏼🥰💚
Repot away!! I love them.. they tend to be chatty.. ❤️❤️
Yes they do haha :) glad you like them!!
The shirt!! I’m so ready to get myself one 🤭
More REPOTS please 🙌🏾
We are okay seeing ALL of the repotting videos, always😍
My el choco rotted on me a while back and thank goddddddd for the moss pole it was on, the roots in there have been able to sustain it ever since! Can't wait for mine to grow as big as yours though, what a BEAST!
Ooof! Yeah I was thinking that I'm glad it's on a pole. Thanks so much for watching!!
I think Olive sees ghost in the background 😂
hahaha
🤦🏼♀️
I don’t need an El Choco
I don’t need an El Choco
I don’t need an El Choco.
Still WANT one 😂
Absolutely!
I’d love reporting and moss pole videos!
The more I watch the more confident I get 💚🤗🍃
Yo I under watered my Monstera Deliciosa when I experienced postpartum depression. It had the same yellowing of lower leaves, and as the dehydration crept up it yellowed the edges of the larger leaves.
You described letting your plants dry for too long. Root rot and over drying have the same look because dead roots can't bring moisture up.
The roots still look alive even though there is some loss. If you know you under water try boosting it up a little. If you think you're over watering do the opposite.
Drying the roots to death will cause root rot just like over watering drowns them. People can die of dehydration and drowning and plant roots can do the same.
Maybe add something to your soil to hold moisture longer like sphagnum Moss or Coco coir. Your soil mix looks like it dries fast. Honestly my last mix I left out the coco coir and I had to water SO much more it was frustrating.
Hey btw recently people have decided that sphag is the good source again and coco coir is the bad but that doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Both play a part in deforestation but coco coir is the LEFTOVER from the processing of coconuts for stuff like coconut oil etc if I understand correctly. That indicates to me that it's actually the better option as it's not being grown for one reason and is instead covering one of the disposal issues of coconut farms while the sphagnum Moss FARMS are still cutting down to grow but without a multitude of product. Lmk if I'm wrong.
Hi. The yellow sides look like guttation. To verify, check if the leaf is rooted in the moss pole. As with soil, constantly wet moss poles may be overwatering your climbing roots. This is not based on fact, just my thoughts on it.
I love repot videos! And I also love to repot my plants. I am currently waiting for a shipment of pots and perlite for my spring repot. I have so many to repot and several propagations that need to be potted up.
Yes! Please! All the repots. I think it’s perfect timing on the repot for the el choco! Tell me how/why/when you use the Mycorrhizal treatment?
Hi fern! I wouldn’t mind all the repot videos but I think it’d be fun to spice it up by making some of them chatty repots, like Q+A or talking about certain topics to help break up all the repotting content!
I also love repotting videos, and love these shorter videos too!
Your UNWELL t shirt! I need it! 🤣
Definitely like you doing repotting videos! What is that powder you sprinkle on the roots before putting your El Choco in the new pot?
Mycorrhizae ☺️ a fungus that has a symbiotic relationship with the roots and helps the plant to grow
@@wildfern have you been doing that for a while? I started doing that it’s some of mine, as well as adding some other beneficial microbes, but started getting root rot on pretty much everything I added it to, when I never had issues before. I don’t know if it’s that or the other microbes I added, but I’ve stopped both for now
I really really hope the plant does well and doesn’t rot 🤗 💖
i havent watch it yet but i love when video is about el choco red, melanochrysum or verrucosum
Ah perfect, my favourite plants haha ☺️
I love repot videos and would love to see more. 😊
YES. Give us all the repot videos!! 💕
Love repot video. Feels like visiting.
Thanks so much Janet ☺️
I already loooooved how you use the word unwell all the time & I especially love how you took the use of the word to the next level with your shirt! 😍😍😍😍😍
He is so beautiful! This is my dream plant right now. Hope it does well!
Lol I love the ending jams you play, always stay till the end to sing along.
Me too, so nostalgic at this point😅
Ahhh thanks for watching to the end! I love the song too haha :)
Hope you’re doing well Fern!💜
I love repot vids!

Aaaahhh 🤩🤩🤩 I’m in looove with your beautiful El Choco Red ♥️
Repotting is my favorite thing to watch and do so do as many repot with mes as you want!
Excellent 😃😃
YES, I am ok with 20 repotting videos over the next few weeks lol
Yes, 20 repot videos is great!!
Yes! Bring on all of the chatty repots. Honestly I cant get enough they are my favorite type of videos, that and long plant chore videos which I can put on and listen to while I do my plant chores. I've been loving all the extra work you've been putting into making more content for us. You are killing it. Much love. Cheers. 💚✌
Repot away! Plant chores seem to bring you so much joy. Watching you do them works the magic on me too. So please go ahead with all the repotting videos!
the irony of your shirt
Do Philodendron’s really benefit being on a moss pole? To grow big leaves? My Philodendron Pink Princess and White Princess new leaves are small. Also my Philodendron White Princess new leaves tips of them are black and damage coming out. Do you know why that happens?
El choco red when right to the top of my wishlist after seeing how much yours has grown and how BEAUTIFUL it is 🤩
As it should be!! They are phenomenal plants to grow 💚💚💚
Hey fern! Can you make a video on repot shock?! I’m new to the plant community and I’m super intimidated to repot. I had to repot some plants and my coffee plant Looks so sad. I’m so sad I hope I didn’t kill it. I’m pretty sure it’s in shock! I can’t find any videos on this topic! Thank you lysm
Would love more repot videos! Literally film anything with your plants and I will enjoy 😁
Luv this video. 🙃💙🐕.Repot away. Keep going. Each plant will have a different story. As we see the results of the repotting. How each plant comes out successful or not.
Yay!!!
Your choco can breathe now!!!!.....I'm amazed it was alive in such a small pot.
We loveeeee repotting and moss pole videos, bring itttttt
You have the healthiest looking el choco red I’ve ever seen. This is my favorite plant for sure. I hope mine grows to become like yours. I’ve seen a lot of people fighting root rot, so I have mine in a chunky mix with perlite, orchid bark, and leca so hopefully it’s okay.
Just now scrolling thru my sub feed to see what I missed/what I wanna rewatch and I just noticed that this vid is 12 min and 14 secs. That’s my bday! So imma rewatch because, numbers.
I love your repotting videos
How is your plant doing today? I just repoted my El choco which is yellowing three of 5 leaves because it got overwatered while I wan on holiday by my plant sitter ;-; the root system seemed to be fine, but had some minor rotting. Probably also it outgrew its pot fast!
Love your repot videos! Please keep making them. Your El Choco Red is stunning! Such a joy to see! 👏🪴🥰
Repotting in to a clay pot? Girl, I'm too lazy for that. The only thing I have growing in clay pots is pink geraniums - French style.
I love YOUR repotting vids! Bring it!!!
Give us all the repotting videos! 👌🏻🌿
Also you are absolutely glowing
Totally down for all the repots, I think most people are probably in the same boat for spring! I love watching them while I do it myself 🥰
I hope miss choco is alright!
🤞
I have a feeling maybe it's taking up too much water from the roots in the moss pole and getting slightly overwatered hence the yellowing leaves. It's such a beautiful plant though wow
I just repotted about 6 of mine. Now I decided I want to try pon. I have such beautiful flower pots. I don’t want to get rid of them to go to pon. Please help me
You're so beautiful...... Seperti tanaman mu.... Indah...
Im so jealous, my el Choco red looks really unwell. I think it may have a fungus of some kind :(, yours is so gorgeous.
That's funny cause I've been using the Leca in my mix it's so airy now. Good potting
I also enjoy your repots. I watch them while I am doing plants things.👍
yellowing maybe so much fertilizer and dry air i trying use cal mag
Stop making me need to get an el choco red 😍😍
Also any video you enjoy filming I will love to watch ❤️
If you suspect possible rot, but the outside roots look okay - should you take the soil off anyway to see the roots in the interior of the root ball?? - and for future vids, I am really confused why everyone goes on about orchid bark in epiphytic soil mixes. I stopped because of gray mould or fungus on the bark, and started again, but just took a plant out today to see what's wrong w/ it and in the bottom of the pot I saw gray mould or fungus on the bark. So why does everyone use it? Some info on the mycorrhizzal results would be good, if you've seen a change?
Hi, please, give us all the repottings! They are awesome :D Also your hair is super cute here :-)
more!
I love report with me videos!! I'll watch them all!! Love your content
Was there something by your bedroom? Olive seemed to be staring for a long time 😅❤️
Maybe fish emulsion fertilizer if the yellowing is a nitrogen deficiency
Bring on the repotting videos! And Q&A is fun while you are repotting.
Okay, it's been 10 days since your last video posted. 😬✌😃
coming soon 🥺🌿
Love your chatty repots :) what if you did like, book review repot videos?
Wait is that new merch you're wearing🤔 "unwell"

BRING ON ALL OF THE REPOTTING VIDEOS PLEASE
I love any kind of video you do. You are amazing.
I hate picking favorites and lowkey feel bad like I'm hurting some plants' feelings... 😂 but my choco red has solidly held the #1 favorite position for 2 years strong. She's the only one I don't feel guilt calling favorites for lmao
