Yep it also proves the devs look at the reddit. There was a huge topic there that got massively updated about how to improve defence missions. The devs must have seen it and said YES. then made it. I love this game. They legit DO engage with their community. Not for a VERY long time have i seen something like this happen.

I want the cyborgs to take Cyberstan so I can experience fighting on that planet. I also have the most fun playing against automatons, so it kinda sucks for me if we actually didn't see the automatons for a whole month.
Nah, before we actually do something to them they’re gonna introduce new enemies. Don’t let them win anything. And if we let them win some planets it might be bad from having to focus on our attention on the illuminate when it drops

so the new defence mission was created by a person on the reddit. theres a super upvoted topic where the person discribed how to make defence missions more fun. It seems the devs LOOKED AT IT. and ADDED IT as a new game type. I love this game

It was always strange that the Automatons wanted to reclaim Cyberstan, but instead, they were just advancing towards Super Earth. It's clear that all of this was just a distraction to weaken us and launch the real attack.

first missions i did up to level 30-ish was bug missions, i though automaton missions were super hard and stressful but after spending some time fighting automatons, i must say i prefer them over the bugs.
As in you find them easier or more enjoyable? Cause I tend to enjoy fighting bots more but I find myself struggling against them way more even on lower difficulties than bugs. For some perspective I consistently full clear bugs with randos at difficulty 9 whereas I can only do that with bots at difficulty 7.
@@NoNo-xh7ru way more enjoyable less likely to get ran over by million of bugs that someone triggered and ignored, i use sickle 16, quasar cannon, shield generator pack, orbital laser, eagle air strike, and a heavy 50% resistance to explosive damage suit, and im cruising. (im also going to replace my side arm with grenade pistol as soon as i unlock it)

Tbh I am happy the bots are back. I prefer fighting them over the bugs since they’re actually balanced and you don’t get swarmed by five chargers and twenty hunters all around you. They’re actually doable solo
Figured out the hard way dont kill the 3rd dropship too early on the right side of the base. It can land on the pelicans landing pad and drop their load there inside the base. Also it crashes too close to the side of the landing pad, bots will climb up it into the base. Lost a match today from a tank climbing the debris of the ship and ending up behind us...

I just finished a mission on hellmire than I heard on the PA system “an attack has occurred on the Valdis sector”, I pulled up my dispatches and realized it was happening

There are multiple defense points with massive doors which can be closed, and stationary machine guns
wow this mission is excellent for team reloads. Since all bots get funneled you can simply light them up with the auto cannon
When I hopped on the game and saw them back I thought it aint gonna be as bad as before... That was until I started to read for a bit and saw that the previous "invasion" were essentially just the scouts...
