Great Series! Thank you to all for the nice comments and support, we appreciate all of you!. Special thanks to Brian for having me, as always a pleasure to work alongside you. 🙏👍
Love this guide series. Not only is it informative, but the work is being demonstrated on the same generation (I think same year too) Civic that I am trying to paint!
I.m from europe and i just watched the whole playlist, few hours spent wisely! I just bought a compressor 10BAR 350L/min output witch shoud be enough for most of the paint guns (Guede 580/10/100). I plan to paint my whole car in a different color, and i have to admit it... there is way to many informations to be 100% memorized by wathing tis playlist once, but hey, it's a good start! i will rewatch again when i start the work! thanks a lot for your videos! it's the best way to start on this field, therefore, it's the only thing that i find who combine the whole process, explain in detail, and very nice edited! Thanks a lot guys!
You guys absolutely knocked this car out of the park! This series was fantastic. I learned more in these 6 episodes than I did in 2 years in school. I’m currently doing a full repaint on my toreador red Ford Contour SVT in my garage and expecting it to come out as good as this. Keep up the great work guys. These videos have really reignited my interest in paint and body work because your teaching and direction are so direct and by example. Anyone can easily learn from you.
I was already eager to see the end of the series and see the car completely finished, polished and assembled, in addition to the explanation of the polishing something that many painters do not know despite having been painting for years, excellent information 👍
The before and after are just incredible!! Wow, what a transformation! Thanks for sharing this process, I really do pick up tricks here and there from what you do.
First of all , thank you so much Brian for your time and effort teaching us your painting skills. Watching all your vids taught me how to setup my spray gun and spraying my first project. My first attempt at spraying was so hideous it looked like a orange 😭. But after watching your spray gun settings it turned out smooth using 2k with a few dust particles left behind. But this can be buffed out with a 3M polisher. Again many many thanks and keep the vids coming with more of your tips and tricks Greetings form the Netherlands Holland
I just wanted to know what spray painters did when they sprayed a car with paint damage (sun etc) and this entire series opened up my eyes. 95% prep work, 5% painting. Unreal.
Brian @ Paint Society and Pedro are masters at their craft, congrats to all involved. Great series and what a lucky Honda civic si owner ! They should have a million subs each for their dedicated and professional video's produced, it's a ton of work, and I for one appreciate the post-production results!
Canada here, 89 crx si...following all your tips, big nod from...good vids, simple setup...I've linked you to my friend in Tennessee with an 88 prelude... your time is much appreciated! One love
This was a amazing series i have a 08 civic sedan that i want to fix up and this video was beyond helpful!!! Thanks again. But i know it will never come close to this wow 🔥🔥🔥
After 28 years in the body and paint industry, i had yet to see a comprehensive video series for the proper processes involved in repairing wrecks. Your series basically shows how i take a job from start to finish, but you have PLENTY of help, while i do it all hahaha! You'd have about a month's worth of vids if you did it all solo lol!
Thank G*D! Appreciate the sped up version, who's got time to watch one guy by himself, second by second? But I get your point. Doing it alone does NOT look ANYTHING like these videos!
Man great turnout. You guys make it look so easy. I’m about to paint my car in my garage wish me luck, and remember, it’s just paint!!!!! Thanks for taking your time to make this videos.
this is the most in depth step by step series i have seen, you guys have put in so much more work than most youtubers that I have ever seen to make the car like perfect and stunning!
Great video for painting tips. I am also a paint correction specialist. I do ceramic coatings. I would recommend he put the cord over his shoulder tho when correcting out polishing, as it could scratch the paint. Most professionals just make it a habit. Other wise, not bad. We all prefer different machines and products. I’m a big flex person and rupes is cool. Jescar might make one of the best correcting compounds on the market.
This whole series was so informative! I had basic knowledge on how to paint a car now I feel as though I can do it! I will document my job and let you know how it came out, thanks a bunch!!!
those were some awesome tools and buffing/polishing products, and I really liked you taking us through the steps of sandpaper grit to get rid of the imperfections from dirt particles! I jumped in on part 5, so I'm definitely going to hunt down parts 1-4. Great channel! Thanks for sharing the knowledge and techniques!
Love your videos. I used to spray paint and I'm finding myself to get back on it. Starting my own project very soon on a vw passat saloon. Learning so much from you guys keep the videos coming 👍
Really appreciate the video! Did you use some sort of double-sided tape to help hold the lip kit on? And what is the black piece between the lip and bumper?
I wish there a body shop here in Chicago that does what you do best, because there are way too many shady body shops including the exotic family owned shop that would do anything to overcharge and cut every corners. Do you know any guys in the Chicago land does a good job?
Awesome video Brian with fantastic results thanks 🙏 for each part of the series I really enjoyed it and a big thanks and 👍👍up too all those guys who help you with that project spot on boy o boy the end result even better than factory haha 🤣 what’s the MSRP on this one lol 😂 much love and enjoy your afternoon Brian 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏👏👏🔐🔐🔐✊✊😎😎💯💯💯
Amazon was out, but looked it up and ordered the Swirl remover and pad from their website, and got me some 8000 and 3000 on the way.....Looking forward to using it.
Whoever that was tightening the lug nuts needs to google how to install a wheel properly. You never put lugs on in a circle. Always a star. Seat the wheel first and then tighten to spec in the same star pattern. Other than that, this was a phenomenal video. After watching the whole series, I feel much better about the 5 cars I have of my own to paint in the coming couple years.
Wow, excellent series! I took notes and I'm ready. However, I will first be going just up to primer with rattle cans until I purchase my house, and then I can get the 240V outlet for a 60-gallon compressor to complete the rest. After primer, I will vinyl wrap the car. Do you or anyone recommend that I rattle can clear the primer prior to wrap? I know you don't specialize in wrap but just curious. Again, excellent series, thanks so much!
Looks like it works real well Using harbor freight spray gun right now want to step up to something better in the 300-500 range going to paint my son's car. Looking for something that'll work well for base coat and clear and easy to set up for somebody who doesn't do it everyday
So can I use this stuff for headlights and taillights as well? I used to have to do the wool pad and polisher at my old job. It sucked lol I think I might just buy this
Great Job! The paint is amazing, but, in my opinion the rim color doesn't do anything to the make the color stand out more. Maybe chrome style color like the head lights are would have made this car be an eye turner. You can have a flashy suit but if your shoes are dirty, You get it!
I just want to say a big thanks to you for these videos. And doing research on painting my car myself your videos were the vast majority of my research. And I couldn’t be happier on how my car turned out. I’d love to drop some before and after pictures for you. Do you possibly have a location or website where I can do that?
Brian, can you give me the color code for this Si? Im considering painting my civic hatch this color👌🏽 awesome videos btw!! Ive learned alot and painted my brothers hatchback last year!
hi Brian, I sure enjoy watching your videos. Its very informative but its not as easy as you make it look. I had just painted my dodge ram with nason paint and I somehow screwed it up alittle. I ended up having some runs. Could you make a video on how to fix the runs? Sure would appreciate some guidance on how to fix it. THX John
Awesome video! Just like all the others! My question is how do you avoid pigtails, every time I sand clear coat (usually wet) I’ll get some pigtails usually. Unclean sandpaper? Seems to happen no matter how clean much I keep the paper or spray it down to get residue off.
Hi, been watching your videos and have painted my classic Fiat 500 Gamine with really good results. However I have a kit car which is based on the classic Fiat 500 which is a fibreglass body, you used a flexible agent when painting the additional sports kit should I use the flexible agent when painting the fibreglass shell?
The all materials yo used and time and team, how many days does it take? & how much does it cost? Please cause I'm painter working in uae 🇦🇪 but too much troubles every day with owner garage & costumers, cause here everything they need it fast 😢 fast and no original materials, too much tire swear 😢,
Awesome videos Brian! I have a question. I have a 2003 F350 Crew Cab Long Bed. Original color is charcoal gray metallic. I have a few dents to repair, no big deal. My question is, since I’m going to repaint the truck in its original charcoal gray metallic, do I need to seal or primer the entire truck before painting it. Thanks for all you do for us DYI’ers.
You only need to primer the areas you’re doing body work. In our case since the whole truck is old with bad paint we decided it’s best to primer the whole truck
What is the difference between a Tolecut 2000 grit block different than a small wood or rubber block with regular sandpaper wet or dry sanding.A Tolecut in Can. is about $46 plus tax.Seems kind of pricey to me IMO
I really enjoyed this series. Excellent work and Excellent tips. I Have been watching your videos for sometime now. Hopefully this summer I will be ready to paint my 88 Camaro. If I may ask a stupid question. I purchased two new fenders for the Vehicle. Do you paint the inside of the fenders or just leave it with the factory finish?
Hello, great videos, can you please give me some advise, when I am painting with 2k gloss paints, as I apply a second coat of paint it completely dulls the first coat before the gloss builds back up, this means I just can’t touch up a small area as I need to paint the whole model again to get an even coat of paint, I would like to be able to paint small parts on a rack and turn them but it’s just impossible as the underside that was previously perfectly glossy will end up dull around the edge of where the fresh paint is going on. Please note I am not using base and clear coat system. Any help is greatly appreciated 👍
Hey Brian. Love the channel. Im a noob... Do you mix enough paint to do all your coats if say you apply 3 coats or do you mix up paint each coat? Also any chance we can get a video on painting chrome emblems?
Noticed when I use the orbital sander, I get deep swirl marks that wont go away after buffing and polishing. This is sanding from 1200 intervals up to 3000 grit. Is it the sander/sandpaper or me?
Great Series! Thank you to all for the nice comments and support, we appreciate all of you!. Special thanks to Brian for having me, as always a pleasure to work alongside you. 🙏👍

@@tommyvermaak1948 unfortunately we don't as shipping costs are very high. Thanks for asking.

Love this guide series. Not only is it informative, but the work is being demonstrated on the same generation (I think same year too) Civic that I am trying to paint!
That's way to convenient lol 😂
When it comes to body work, nothing is more satisfying than the CLICK of brand new trim clips locking into place.
I.m from europe and i just watched the whole playlist, few hours spent wisely! I just bought a compressor 10BAR 350L/min output witch shoud be enough for most of the paint guns (Guede 580/10/100). I was already eager to see the end of the series and see the car completely finished, polished and assembled, in addition to the explanation of the polishing something that many painters do not know despite having been painting for years, excellent information 👍
Very true. So many paint jobs go from good to bad because the lack of knowledge from proper polishing! Thanks for stopping by!

Always amazed me how u can use sandpaper on a new paint job where it scratches the paint but when you wax it there’s no scratches, Beautiful job,
