@@mapron1 i dont know, its an RNG based game so you might be the unluckiest player ever to not have found a single skiller with 600-700 hours of playtime. farming and IDing GCs, rerolling GCs and trading (online) are ways to get skillers, and they drop from nightmare act 3 onwards
@@lief9480 I never do trading for items, I only sell for HRs what i find (as I can't find HR either). Never tried rerolling, so basically only GC i have it just from regular bosses (around 1 new GC id in 2-3 days or so).

I love when my single-target attack, which happens to be several magnitudes higher than anything else in the game, also casually kills the mega-immune adds that happen to wander too close.
I don't think I've ever gotten above mid tier gear despite putting an insane amount of time into this game over the last 2 decades. The real blocker is high runes which I've never had much luck finding and I really haven't tried uber farming for torches.
you can find high runes without that much effort, you just have to kill a lot of monsters in hell as fast as you can. not magic find or fart around in norm or nightmare

Blizz should be embarrassed that they allowed this to happen. It's really stupid. Making martial arts viable is one thing, but making it this overpowered is really dumb. It's a slippery slope going from this to what Path of Exile currently is. It's pretty clear that they either barely playtest this stuff before releasing it or they don't playtest it at all. That alone should make people have concern about what the future might hold for this game. If they don't nerf a build like this, then there is no going back. It's just the beginning.

It's super clunky and the time gained on how much damage you do is lost on having to constantly refresh your charges or build them, which really limits what areas you can do with it. Yeah. If you're struggling with Nightmare, terrorized normal is a nice alternative to secret cow levels and baal runs. The randomness of it makes it more fun.

You could do it with less, you say allright but you didnt soo. On a sidenote i do think this build is fine, the game should not be balanced after what the top 1% can achive, and i feel like if i really wanted i could get this gear allthough it would take a lot of work. And you should be rewarded for your effort. Besides if you have a single skill in the game thats non-optional for every single char thats apparently more thank ok. I think complaining about this is a bit silly. Next patch its the druids turn
I mean it's op for sure but there are quite a few actual budget builds of other classes that wreck too. Everyone seems to forget how easily geared a paladin can take Ubers down. Zons melt things in hell like butter as well. 🤷 Variety is fun so it's just another added to the bunch. We will see how they tweak it next patch tho
It looks strong and easy. But we shouldn't forget that MrLlamaSC presses the CORRECT buttons twice as fast as the average Joe. Finding/trading for two Gul runes is something that can take a while as well. Takes longer than Thul Io Nef and some P-diamonds for sure.
@@michelle778 his build is also far from budget. Almost full inv of ma gcs, torch, anni, CTA. I don't have these pieces just mosaic and I can handle myself but I get stomped pretty quick by the right packs and sometimes before I can even build the right charges.
But you can trade like 40 Pgems for an Ist. 80 poems and you have a gul, 80 more and you’re set. The perfect claws, which you don’t really need are the tough ones
Every character should have an OP endgame build. Keyword endgame. This kind of damage for 2 Guls is just bad design. Change the Gul for Sur, Jah, Ber, Cham or Zod and it would make sense. Would be cool if each character had a game breaking runeword with HRs that reflected the value of finding an incredibly rare rune.

Only bad part of this build is brightness of those skills, blizzard could give us option to make lightning/cold spells a bit dimmer, it could come in handy for those long nights full of farming as a assa/sorc

Regular kicksin was a thing before mosaic, and could do pretty okay. But she needed way more gear because the kicks were used to proc on-hit stuff. Mosaic is about the same, but WAY cheaper
This build is extremely powerful, but doesn’t need a huge nerf to it, change the gul to a hr or decrease the percentage of each weapon to 40 or 45 each. It’s changing the meta for once in a 20 year old game, it gives another option other than barb or pali to run Ubers.
issue is if you do that all the normies like myself that never get HRs will never be able to do this build while while streamers and people who game all day (or people who buy HRs online) will still get double Mosaic regardless of the rarity. Making it harder to get doesn't make it any less OP.
Geez, I am slowly getting my stuff to use mosaic on a assassin. By the time I have my stuff on ladder, all the streamers will have demonstrated it needs a massive nerf and I'll probably just wont be able to experience a viable MA assassin!
The problem is it's not as overpowered as llama makes it out to be, or as overpowered as all his sheep make it out to be. I just finished building the base of it yesterday, and it's wildly underwhelming compared to the hype. A blizz sorc still outperforms it in overall clear speed for MFing on a budget. Unless you have enigma, sorc is still faster, and hdins/smiters are still less clunky because of not having to build charges. It's just older players seeing all the effects on the screen and their boomer brains telling them this isn't the d2 they remember, therefore it must be OP.

I wasn't aware there was some limit on how fast you can do your ubers portal--it's not like it's making key runs any faster, thus changing how many torches are coming into the game. Hdin and Blizz sorc being faster earlier on means that it has no effect on the farming part of the economy that matters, so why would it need to be nerfed? Doesn't affect torch prices (actually increases the value of sin torches, which is positive), doesn't bring more items into the game faster than the previous low budget early ladder builds (actually adds new value items to the economy like claw bases, +3MA necks, MA crafted and rare gloves, MA GCs, etc.), doesn't affect pvp, isn't the best build for doing rushes... I'm failing to see how it's negatively impacting the game other than some strange intuitive aversion people have that it doesn't 'feel right'.

It's also even worse because smiter is also garbage at farming compared to this build. Thus creating an overall bigger gap in power. It's not about "the economy" it's about balance. No build should be added to the game that EXCEEDS existing S-tier builds. All that does is move the goalposts. Hell, I'd go as far as to say Blizzard Sorc and Hammerdin should also be knocked down a peg. Being able to mow down mobs on p8 Hell by yourself shouldn't be thing.
This isn't a build to play through the game with. I'd recommend you do it like llama and play through with a traps build, farm stuff for dual mosaic and then switch
About as cheap if not cheaper than an average smiter. I do like the new strength of being able to farm with it as well. I however do not enjoy the FPS destroying million particle effects on the screen. More builds like this with fewer instances of hitting.

Each potion gives 50 resistance plus 10 to max resistance (caping at 85% instead of 75%) to their respective element (cold/poison) for 30 seconds. Drinking more then one stacks the duration so if you drink 10 Antidote you will have +50 poison resi +10 max poison resi for 300 seconds.

It's flooded because of bots. This build isn't suddenly doing 10s chaos/cow runs. It's actually faster to farm runes with a Barbarian in trav still, and without Enigma, Blizz sorc eclipses it in farming.

First time I’ve played assassin since original d2 😂 Such a fun build it’s ridiculous lol only downside was people complaining that you lose stacks before Diablo have to leave re stack and go back… That couldn’t be any more un true 😂😂😂😂 Yes you lose your stacks but you can just grab a couple hits on Diablo and you’ll have enough stacks back to clap him instant 😂😂😂 don’t need to leave
MrLlama, could you please incorporate a few more lower level vids on your feed? Not everyone is working on Uber or Hell runs and we would greatly appreciate a little more attention for those that haven't acquired every build and enhancement that you exhibit in these vids. I really wish that Blizzard will make a twist, and instead of nerfing this build to the ground, they will add more runewords for every class that will make them so broken and fun
@@M4RCi92 We also have item that allows you to teleport without a cooldown on any class and item that shreds all resists from enemies - just make those new runewords costly (Zod instead of Gul in Mosaic would be a start)

@@peepopoo4387 well its doing less dmg than expected with full inv of martial gc......he only missing ormus and griffon for more dmg......i think a 25% cut to dmg is in order.....IF hustle stay the way it is...otherwise if Hustle get nerf then the skills need to be powered up instead....shall see what they do with this first.....i'd rather they nerf Hustle to 37.5% - 40%(75-80% chance to retain procs) and rework the skills at their core ....otherwise its gonna be difficult to create new items to keep its balance in check
@Peepo Poo* because this is completely unintended. They should limit it to one charge skill at a time, and maybe buff the base damage of those skills. If you don't see how infinitely proccing multiple fully charged skills is problematic, I don't know what to say. This is incompetence. Actually make skills better and let melee characters like the Barb deal splash damage. Buff weapons across the board. There are just so many skills that still suck and they allow this ridiculous stuff in the game. It's just awful. They need to stop trying to be creative and literally copy what Senpai and Greendude have done years ago in the D2 mods that are so, so much better than D2R.

It needs something added to the legendary effect itself. So mosaic would say 50% chance not to consume, BUT.... either you can only have one of the three elemental charges at once (fists of fire, blades of ice, claws of thunder), which sucks because all 3 are synergy. Or you could have all 3 but cannot raise them above 1 charge each, which is just the one that adds damage to the finisher. My favorite option would be to change phoenix strike skill completely so that it instantly grants you 3 charges of the respective elemental skill based on how many charges of phoenix strike. So hitting once with phoenix strike grants full fists of fire charges while disabling all charges of claws of thunder and blades of ice, and so on. This reduces the amount of time spent charging up, while maintaining the identity of mosaic being the "permanent finishing move" claw. It also reduces the screen clutter, nerfs the upper damage potential, and keeps all three of the synergy elemental skills relevant to the build.
@@JerBear0328 some good ideas there. I hope the user feedback is taken into account by the devs. In any case MA assassin is one of my favorite builds and I hope it lands in a place where it's viable for end game but not too op (which is a hard balance to achieve)
can confirm mosaic is too strong even without expensive gear and can clear just about any maps even before anni, torch, infinity or skillers. just two plain mosaics. not even + to phoenix.
What about every subsequent finshing move lowers the damage by X% until you hit some base limit. Then refreshes on new mob type or X seconds of no finishing move?
Before Mosaic, everyone said that Traps would be S-tier build if the -light res applied to them. Now it does, but nobody plays them because we have this. It is kinda ridiculous that they thought it would be OK to have this in the game. And the fix for it is very simple... make it refresh the duration of only the last combo-generating ability you used so you cant stack 4 combos on top of each other. Still S-tier, but not ridiculous.
This is the first item D3 like in D2 that changes skill core mechanic which is easiest approach instead of balancing all Melle skills. IMHO they should add more rng to this like you can have only one type of charge(cold only etc) at the time that can be refreshed with finishing move. I would go with 100% for single Mosaic and that would help with more build variations. Want more dmg go dual Mosaic with two types of charges, want more survi go with Mosaic cold roll plus a shield.

Doesn't need a nerf.. nerfing pve games are pointless just buff other builds.. no one crying for poison necros to be nerfed or other s tier builds ( that are only S tier with high runes and crazy gear )
What's ironic is that the loudest voices are complaining it's too cheap to build, but the majority of players play so casually, it will take them a while just to build the claws. It's the same voices that complain about how light sorc's are overpowered once they get infinity and all their GG gear, or how overpowered Hdins are when they get to enigma finally. This build doesn't perform any faster than a cold sunder blizz sorc (actually a lot slower) without a good amount of gear.

People putting prestige behind difficulty in d2 is silly to me. This game becomes a joke with most builds after getting decent gear. If people want the game to be harder then they need to make new areas.
The build is strong. Arguably too strong. I started traps this season then switched to phoenix when I had claws. I have super basic gear, much less than llama and I can kill everything in the game. Not just kill but absolutely wipe. I got my two friends Annis yesterday, they both couldn’t kill him so I joined and wiped him in like 15 seconds. They should nerf it, but also fix some things. It’s sorta hard to tell how many charges you have, unless you look really hard. Also the charges don’t last long enough, it should be 30 seconds. It’s so frustrating when they drop off and I have to reapply all of them, squint my eyes close to the screen and make sure I’ve got all three charges of the elements I’d like. Anyway. TLDR. FUN BUILD. NERF AND TWEAK. Thanks

Mal and Gul are mid runes. As ladder goes on and prices come down every man and his dog will have mosiac claws. When this happens, perhaps youll have saved up enough of your pocket money to build this class. Then maybe youll understand this post xDD

This is a little off topic but is it worth doing terrorized zones in normal mode if you are just leveling up and dont have people to play with?

Terrorozed zones cap out in each difficulty, think its 45 norm 76 nm and 96 hell. Not including champ/boss pack ilvl increases.

Every character should have an OP endgame build. Keyword endgame. This kind of damage for 2 Guls is just bad design. Change the Gul for Sur, Jah, Ber, Cham or Zod and it would make sense.
Would be cool if each character had a game breaking runeword with HRs that reflected the value of finding an incredibly rare rune.

Only bad part of this build is brightness of those skills, blizzard could give us option to make lightning/cold spells a bit dimmer, it could come in handy for those long nights full of farming as a assa/sorc

Is any kind of MA build viable on Single player that can do such damage levels, or you strictly need Mosaic? If it's viable, can you do a video on that?
Regular kicksin was a thing before mosaic, and could do pretty okay. But she needed way more gear because the kicks were used to proc on-hit stuff.
Mosaic is about the same, but WAY cheaper
MA is absolute garbage without mosaic, no way around it

This build is extremely powerful, but doesn’t need a huge nerf to it, change the gul to a hr or decrease the percentage of each weapon to 40 or 45 each. It’s changing the meta for once in a 20 year old game, it gives another option other than barb or pali to run Ubers.
issue is if you do that all the normies like myself that never get HRs will never be able to do this build while while streamers and people who game all day (or people who buy HRs online) will still get double Mosaic regardless of the rarity. Making it harder to get doesn't make it any less OP.
Geez, I am slowly getting my stuff to use mosaic on a assassin. By the time I have my stuff on ladder, all the streamers will have demonstrated it needs a massive nerf and I'll probably just wont be able to experience a viable MA assassin!
The problem is it's not as overpowered as llama makes it out to be, or as overpowered as all his sheep make it out to be. I just finished building the base of it yesterday, and it's wildly underwhelming compared to the hype. A blizz sorc still outperforms it in overall clear speed for MFing on a budget. Unless you have enigma, sorc is still faster, and hdins/smiters are still less clunky because of not having to build charges. It's just older players seeing all the effects on the screen and their boomer brains telling them this isn't the d2 they remember, therefore it must be OP.
@@Yepmyaccount I kinda agree, but cmon - blizzard sorc and hammerdin couldn't do ubers this fast. It'd be good for it to just be limited to like two charge skills or something.
@@XavionofThera Does it matter if it's 20s faster than the previous world record smiter, when on average it's barely faster than a normal geared smiter? I wasn't aware there was some limit on how fast you can do your ubers portal--it's not like it's making key runs any faster, thus changing how many torches are coming into the game. Hdin and Blizz sorc being faster earlier on means that it has no effect on the farming part of the economy that matters, so why would it need to be nerfed? Doesn't affect torch prices (actually increases the value of sin torches, which is positive), doesn't bring more items into the game faster than the previous low budget early ladder builds (actually adds new value items to the economy like claw bases, +3MA necks, MA crafted and rare gloves, MA GCs, etc.), doesn't affect pvp, isn't the best build for doing rushes... I'm failing to see how it's negatively impacting the game other than some strange intuitive aversion people have that it doesn't 'feel right'.
@@Yepmyaccount Being able to do anything faster than the fastest build could before = power creep. Power creep is bad. Power creep is anti-balance.
It's also even worse because smiter is also garbage at farming compared to this build. Thus creating an overall bigger gap in power.
It's not about "the economy" it's about balance. No build should be added to the game that EXCEEDS existing S-tier builds. All that does is move the goalposts.
Hell, I'd go as far as to say Blizzard Sorc and Hammerdin should also be knocked down a peg. Being able to mow down mobs on p8 Hell by yourself shouldn't be thing.

I gave up on martial arts assassin. I can't survive Nightmare post travencal.... those little knife dudes are just wrecking me.
This isn't a build to play through the game with. I'd recommend you do it like llama and play through with a traps build, farm stuff for dual mosaic and then switch

About as cheap if not cheaper than an average smiter. I do like the new strength of being able to farm with it as well.
I however do not enjoy the FPS destroying million particle effects on the screen.
More builds like this with fewer instances of hitting.
Due to the popularity of the assassin now this build is way more expensive then the average smiter. There is nothing budget about this setup.

If he dropped the torch and the skillers due to the claws being a requirement for the build then I spose it could be budget then. Assa skillers and torchs are very expensive now because the build is fotm.

What is the mechanic of bulk buying and consuming antidote and thawing potions?
Each potion gives 50 resistance plus 10 to max resistance (caping at 85% instead of 75%) to their respective element (cold/poison) for 30 seconds. Drinking more then one stacks the duration so if you drink 10 Antidote you will have +50 poison resi +10 max poison resi for 300 seconds.

It's flooded because of bots. This build isn't suddenly doing 10s chaos/cow runs. It's actually faster to farm runes with a Barbarian in trav still, and without Enigma, Blizz sorc eclipses it in farming.
Does he play on any special server or how can he keep the game stable with all this meteors? When I play meteor there is a 100% chance to crash the game even without any other charge

@@M4RCi92 We also have item that allows you to teleport without a cooldown on any class and item that shreds all resists from enemies - just make those new runewords costly (Zod instead of Gul in Mosaic would be a start)

@@peepopoo4387 well its doing less dmg than expected with full inv of martial gc......he only missing ormus and griffon for more dmg......i think a 25% cut to dmg is in order.....IF hustle stay the way it is...otherwise if Hustle get nerf then the skills need to be powered up instead....shall see what they do with this first.....i'd rather they nerf Hustle to 37.5% - 40%(75-80% chance to retain procs) and rework the skills at their core ....otherwise its gonna be difficult to create new items to keep its balance in check
@Peepo Poo* because this is completely unintended. They should limit it to one charge skill at a time, and maybe buff the base damage of those skills. If you don't see how infinitely proccing multiple fully charged skills is problematic, I don't know what to say. This is incompetence. Actually make skills better and let melee characters like the Barb deal splash damage. Buff weapons across the board. There are just so many skills that still suck and they allow this ridiculous stuff in the game. It's just awful. They need to stop trying to be creative and literally copy what Senpai and Greendude have done years ago in the D2 mods that are so, so much better than D2R.

imho this is ridiculously op and needs serious work. I like the idea of limiting number of charges to 2. Also the visuals are ridiculous, specially the meteor effect
It needs something added to the legendary effect itself. So mosaic would say 50% chance not to consume, BUT.... either you can only have one of the three elemental charges at once (fists of fire, blades of ice, claws of thunder), which sucks because all 3 are synergy. Or you could have all 3 but cannot raise them above 1 charge each, which is just the one that adds damage to the finisher.
My favorite option would be to change phoenix strike skill completely so that it instantly grants you 3 charges of the respective elemental skill based on how many charges of phoenix strike. So hitting once with phoenix strike grants full fists of fire charges while disabling all charges of claws of thunder and blades of ice, and so on. This reduces the amount of time spent charging up, while maintaining the identity of mosaic being the "permanent finishing move" claw. It also reduces the screen clutter, nerfs the upper damage potential, and keeps all three of the synergy elemental skills relevant to the build.
It needs to stay exactly like it is right now. You ve been playing a game with op classes for 20 years and now there is just one more added.
I personally am perfectly fine with how it is.

Yeah mid geared ok. Mid geared amongst the .0001% of players that play D2 as their job.
Before Mosaic, everyone said that Traps would be S-tier build if the -light res applied to them. Now it does, but nobody plays them because we have this. It is kinda ridiculous that they thought it would be OK to have this in the game. And the fix for it is very simple... make it refresh the duration of only the last combo-generating ability you used so you cant stack 4 combos on top of each other. Still S-tier, but not ridiculous.

This is the first item D3 like in D2 that changes skill core mechanic which is easiest approach instead of balancing all Melle skills. IMHO they should add more rng to this like you can have only one type of charge(cold only etc) at the time that can be refreshed with finishing move. I would go with 100% for single Mosaic and that would help with more build variations. Want more dmg go dual Mosaic with two types of charges, want more survi go with Mosaic cold roll plus a shield.

Dosent matter me and a lot of other casuals will never get this Rune word, an for get about getting it for 2x claws.
What's ironic is that the loudest voices are complaining it's too cheap to build, but the majority of players play so casually, it will take them a while just to build the claws. It's the same voices that complain about how light sorc's are overpowered once they get infinity and all their GG gear, or how overpowered Hdins are when they get to enigma finally. This build doesn't perform any faster than a cold sunder blizz sorc (actually a lot slower) without a good amount of gear.

The build is strong. Arguably too strong. I started traps this season then switched to phoenix when I had claws. I have super basic gear, much less than llama and I can kill everything in the game. Not just kill but absolutely wipe. I got my two friends Annis yesterday, they both couldn’t kill him so I joined and wiped him in like 15 seconds. They should nerf it, but also fix some things. It’s sorta hard to tell how many charges you have, unless you look really hard. Also the charges don’t last long enough, it should be 30 seconds. It’s so frustrating when they drop off and I have to reapply all of them, squint my eyes close to the screen and make sure I’ve got all three charges of the elements I’d like. Anyway. TLDR. FUN BUILD. NERF AND TWEAK. Thanks
Diablo clone isnt a good example for something being nerfed since you can kill him that fast on an extremely budget smiter

@@pro100wnick11 The smiter gear is cheaper but also the character is far less powerful! Single target dps is much lower. Cant aoe. Has no built in life leech. The list goes on, its apples to oranges. Mal and Gul are mid runes. As ladder goes on and prices come down every man and his dog will have mosiac claws. When this happens, perhaps youll have saved up enough of your pocket money to build this class. Then maybe youll understand this post xDD

And I just say that this character is not above the hammer clear and definetly not higher than uber, cuz u need everything paladin has+2 gul and 2 mal. Mosaic is not the only item needed in this build ;)
