- Instead of buying one, I decided to build my own firewood bundling machine. I’m so glad I did because it turned out great! It exceeded my expectations and only cost me around $100 and some scrap metal that I mainly had laying around.
Here are the Amazon Links for Bundler components that I used:

I would add a weight to the opposite end of the stretch wrap to help keep it handy for the next bundle. Good job...make a lot and sell a lot of bundles....
Thank you. I’ve got a 10lb block of lead on the opposite end. It really works well when the bundle wrap is full, but starts getting off toward the end of the roll. I appreciate you watching and commenting 👍🏻 🔥🪵🪓
I would weld some "wings" on the tightness adjusting nut...then you wouldn't have to use a wrench.
I think I’m definitely going to do something like that. I’m in search of a different rate spring also right now. The one I have is too stiff and doesn’t work as well when I get toward the end of a roll.
You did such a great job on this!!! I wish i was crafty enough to have made mine😂
Thank you. There’s a few little things I’d change if I built it again, but mainly creature comforts. As far as getting the job done, I’ve got no complaints with it thus far
found your info video with all the measurements. thank you
You’re welcome 😊
That turned out great. I’m very impressed!! Ain’t nothing like using what you’ve got on hand to make something work!! Great video!
I appreciate it. Growing up on a farm, I was always taught to use what you have. It turned out better than I expected and does a great job.
Brilliant!!
I based my build off of the Amish Wood Bundler. I tried to keep it simple and saved a little money using some things I had on hand 👍🏻
Great job Brandon! The bundler turned out great!!👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah! I was pleased with how smooth it turned out 👍🏻
Can you make a list to show the lengths of everything? Maybe do a detailed video? I’d like to make this one.
I think I may actually make a video and show some more detailed measurements. I’ve had a lot of requests for info on it here lately
@@McKameyFarmswhere can I find detailed list and lengths
Great video 📹 God bless
Thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting
Brandon
Very nice fabrication on a firewood bundles.
I appreciate it. Its working great so far! Thanks for watching and commenting.
what is length of 4inch plate & how far up did you weld your plate onto shaft. great job on build, thank you for video & info.
That is a very nice bundler you made !!!
Thanks Del, I think it turned out really well and I only ended up with around $90 in it 👌🏻 I appreciate you watching and commenting
Exactly what I have been looking for, a parts list so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks!
No problem! Let me know if there’s anything else I could help with. It’s been working great. I’ve ran about 275+ bundles through it so far
Just to get a general idea of the materials length, can you provide width, height and depth measurements of the overall frame, as well as the main wrap and weight plate with the weight of the lead counterweight? Thanks again.
Send me your email address and I’ll send you some dimensions. My email address is in the details on the main Home Screen of my channel
Nicely done, looks like it works really well.
Thanks Bobby! So far so good 🤞🏻
Thank you for sharing, big like 🥰🙏🥰🥰🙏🥰🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely, thanks for watching and commenting!
That's awesome if you don't mind do you have measurements or purchase the plans thanks
Thanks Ron! Check out this video where I go over more of the measurements and more details on the build. Let me know if you have any more questions

hi there well done , john
Thank you sir! I’ve ran about 250 bundles through it so far with no issues 👌🏻
I appreciate you watching and commenting
Awesome job on the fabrication work. I hope you have the blueprints for it or measurements to it if you have would be kind enough to share them. Please 🙏 Thanks!
I appreciate it. I didn’t have anything to go off of other than the size of the bundle cradle.. I pretty much built everything around that. I don’t mind at all to take some measurements and email them to you. Shoot me your email to brandonmckamey25@comcast.net and I will put something together for you.
Great job! I built but but have yet to find a spring. Where did you source your spring for tension?
I actually sourced it off of a zero turn mower that I had for scrap. It’s one of the seat springs that I cut the end off of. It’s a little stiff but seems to work ok.
I would try McMaster -Carr. They have a good selection of hardware components
Compression Springs, 1.25" Long, 1.225" OD, 1.015" ID

Where did you get the 2 ends that fit in the wrap?
I made them out of 1/2” thick Plastic sheeting I had laying around. I cut out a 3” one and a 4” one with hole saw bits and then sandwiched them together to basically make a spool.
@@McKameyFarmswhat length is the plastic wrap
@@rogerbenton2354 It’s 12” Shrink Wrap. I bought it on Amazon
