Thank you Brother Shaun;) Yes...they sure needed a "B-shot Energy Drink";) About 10 minutes after this video, the courtyard filled up for the last hour of the show...dancing, sweatin' and folks havin' fun in Paradise;)
That 1st hour of the band's performance is in the "last of the heat" of the day...and this particular day...last Wednesday...was on the tail end of our "record setting heat"...keeps a lot of folks inside...in addition to the fact that it was "Graduation Night" for the schools in the area...which did not help attendance;)
I don't get it...watch your child graduate...or a Cowboy tryin' to rip on some Allman Brothers;)

Thank you for watching & the kind words Brother Mojo;) I always enjoy the opportunity to get "up close and personal" with folks & share a "Musical Moment" that I hope they enjoy as much as I am;) The 1st couple I walked up to in the video (with the woman videoing on her phone) happen to be the folks who "requested" this song (the woman did) and they are folks I've known for quite some time...and frequent "live" performances of mine.
What you won't see...when I sit down on the stool and play...is the couple I am playing for as the video does not show them. They were from Argentina...could barely speak English...and yet...you would have thought they were "Locals"...enjoying themselves amoungst other beautiful folks in Paradise...with "Classic Music" being the "Bond" that holds the night together for everyone;) Fun...

Dan, you are such a modest virtuoso. You give your all to your everyday, people audiences. You clearly make people happy and uplifted as they listen to your music. sounds great Dan. Are you running XLR out to FOH PA? EDIT: I see someone else asked a similar question below so all good
Brother Toz...a really "cool and interesting" feature regarding the XLR Output on the FR-12 (of which I am using in this video) is that when it is being used for FOH, the "Volume" knob of the cabinet has ABSOLUTELY ZERO AFFECT on the VOLUME of the XLR.
You plug in the XLR...and there is a PREDETERMINED SIGNAL that comes from it...allowing a "FOH" sound check to be enjoyed without "stage volume" being heard from the cabinet...something I personally have never experienced as most amps with an XLR Output "adjust" to the Volume Knob of the amp.
A great feature that is not mentioned...and I am thankful for the question as I forgot to mention this feature too;)

Brother Bob...thank you for the very kind words and for watching along with your question.
Yes...you are hearing (recorded off an iPhone) a mix between the "Front of House" mains along with a projection of the cabinet coming from the stage itself.
And here's a REALLY INCREDIBLE FEATURE regarding the FR-12:
It has a XLR OUT that allows you to SEND the signal to the console (like most amps/cabinets) BUT that SIGNAL is NOT AFFECTED by the VOLUME CONTROL of the CABINET...you actually can SOUND CHECK your "FOH" level thru the mains WHILE the VOLUME of the FR-12 is SHUT OFF a.k.a. on ZERO.
I personally have never had an amp/cabinet that wasn't AFFECTED by turning the volume control up or down...but this feature allows the FOH MIX to be UNAFFECTED as you turn the FR-12 CABINET up or down with it's VOLUME CONTROL.
The FR-12 is proving to be the CLEANEST, HI-HEADROOM cabinet that I have ever experienced from a 12" speaker source...amp or cabinet.
Incredibly clean, loud with beautiful definition revealed within the EFFECT PEDALS I am using...crystal clean reverbs and delays...I am "hearing" these like I have never heard them before..."Live".
But the KEY is the LINE LEVEL INPUT from the IR you are using & for me...the BOSS IR-200 is the PERFECT IR for my applications...so much so...I now own 3 of them in addition to an additional FR-12 cabinet.

Great info! Thank you again. I don’t really gig all that much anymore. Maybe a half a handful of times a year. But as I age I find it quite difficult to hump a heavy combo amp and 12x24 pedalboard loaded with pedals. I’m in the process of putting together a lighter weight solution for the few times that I DO get out to play, and the FR12 was something I was looking at for that purpose.
Brother Bob...if I were picking one "cabinet" to play...this is it. Just be sure to hit the "Input" with a "Line Level" signal as opposed to an "Instrument Level" signal...if you get one;)
