Can we just acknowledge the one teen in the cowboy hat who knew every word in every song and had the time of his life
He made it especially great. Video of fans losing it that way is the greatest n adds so much to the video. Letting it all go n jamming to it
He has been acknowledged
And he has been appreciated
Yup
The kid in the hat seems to be the only Rocker in the house🤟
He is probably their Roadie
I really lost it when he says "HOW YOU DOIN' STANFORD??" He is so confident! I mean, I can't even sing in front of my class
I can't even sing Infront of my family or mum XD
I cant even sing!!! HA 1-0
It's a switch you need to turn in your head. Also, look just above the crowd, that keeps the nerves in check. Confidence comes later after you get used to it. ;-)
Candy Ninja i would say your class is harder although ive done it because you know the people and they can critizise you
I cant even sing in front of myself
Anybody else get emotionally happy for these kids while imagining how good that felt to have all those people enjoying their sound? Not to mention how proud their parents are of them!
Well said! I was happy for all the old geezers my age enjoying young kids that appreciate good music.
That was great.
I got the tingles for them. I bet they were so excited - and they did an awesome job!!! Keep rock alive boys ❤️
Yes I felt the same
I was totally impressed
Absolutely. Brilliant. Hope for the future ❤
They were awesome done love, not even messed with in a studio
Better than a couple of the Super Bowl half time shows during the last decade or so 😎🎸 ✌️🙂
The drummer didn't get enough love in these comments. He kept them on point.
He made it look effortless!
couldn't hear the drummer at all.
Sure did
Yeah, the little dude tore it up!!!
I noticed. Hes very good.
The bass kid is an insane singer
Yea he is .
Kyle Munger that is William Lipton
Ryan DeFrees I don’t know what you’re talking about, in a live performance, if there’s pitch corrections you can hear little fluctuations in his voice on the high notes, as pitch corrections aren’t perfect live. I don’t hear any of it. This is 100% raw. But his dad is probably rich. How else do you land a gig at standford.
Ryan DeFrees Also you can look up videos of him today and those are 100% raw.
@@DaFreezeey Nah dude. Me and my daughter were listening to Motorhead laughing while coming up with harsh burns to roast you. Lol.
Whatever became of these dudes? This was 8 years ago, would love an update. Very impressed!

Yeah…
Rumor has it ,their balls dropped changing the vocals....
Heard they are knockin' em down...
They now run a meth lab in Alabama.
I was born in '67 and in my day there was a divide between parents and children over music. "Turn that sh$# down!". I'm just proud that my generations music is so timeless. It feels good seeing kids wearing AC/DC stuff and rocking to our classics and being able to share my knowledge of some relatively forgotten bands with my kids.
They are following our music because three quarters of what’s out there today is not that great…. At some point music can only evolve so far and I think we are there now….
By the way I’m not a prude, I love Opera, Rock, R&B , Pop, country and Spirituals…. So when I say much of music today is not great I mean it as an all round connoisseur. 😎
@@TheLocoUnion music today is amazing, better than any generation due to the accesibility of smaller artists, most radio music is today is bad tho u got a point.
@@pimpmasterfuture9400 The young artists today are really talented. I just feel like they aren’t given good writing or good songs to work with. I listen to some kids out there , who I never knew could really put out, for one reason or another, finally do so, with gusto.
I’m in awe at their capabilities.
For instance the Hit musical Hamilton is amazing. I wish more people would do work of this nature today. Well thought out… well delivered… interesting sounds and some throwback to the 60’s.
This is something I can get into.
My dad was ww2 marine vet.. When i played AC/DC he told me "it sounds like a bunch of damn Japs". What ever that meant.. He grew up dancing the jitterbug and listening to Glen Miller
Yeah around the same age; both my parents thought their opinion on AC/DC counted for something, lol.
Well guess what - turns out I had an ear for a band that is now legendary, and they clearly didn't know sh!t 😆
And those boys never had trouble with girls in the rest of their school days
Trust me when I say we all have trouble with girls.
Girl Problems: _I am inevitable..._
Nah as as a 6th grade metalhead that goes to school with slipknot shirts the only artist girls like now is Billie eilish
RylanSkates aheM I’m a girl and I don’t only like Billie Eilish..there’s some girls out there who are also into different types of music like me-

Their parents were awesome to bring them up on great music
I commented bc why not lol
Well this is like the first song everyone learns on guitar so that’s probably how they know it
@@connoroballe6100 that’s not at all true
Seriously shout out to those kids!! And their parents!! Damn that rocked my socks off!!
@@NJxG1ANT I Would love to see them as the focus band for their high schools proms, and grad. ceremonies! Sure would make transition to j.r. high less akward! Great job youngin;s keep the spirit!!!
Damn they nailed that last song! And they killed the solo! All three of them have a bright future in music!! 😲
Pulling off a medley on time in tempo is hard enough when your in your 30s, these kids are awesome!!!
This needs to add the backstage clips where they're doing lines of pixy stix to get amped for the show.
Bruh holy crap that’s genius
And injecting caprisun into their bloodstreams
Very Clever Comment!! Wow, do we still have pixie sticks? Thanks for the 50+ yr old memory! After enjoying the tasty sugar, we sucked on the paper, and then rolled it into pellets, to throw at each other. Innocent fun.
@@reginaschellhaas1395, speaking of sucking on paper, those of us who are old enough remember the candy cigarettes. Made with just enough powdered sugar rolled into the paper that you could actually puff on them and they'd blow smoke!
If you do an image search on [Carter Helm Margo Nahas] you'll find a photo of the little kid who rose to fame as the smoking angel on the cover of Van Halen's 1984. Here on UA-cam you can find Margo tell the story. Little cherub Carter was actually given packs of "cigs". Chocolate. With the "smoke".
It was hilarious back in the day. But not so funny as of one week ago.
So maybe I should be more careful with my Pixie Stix jokes.
But if I ever do find them again, I will be sure to buy some just for old tyme's sake.
And yeah, mainlining Capri Sun might be a little extreme too. You might want to work up on that by starting with a slow IV cs-drip.
Jesus. That is so clever!
They need these boys to play the next Superbowl halftime show. At least it would be worth watching.
Actually, complete silence, or some kind of repeating, blaring alarm sound would be better then what they have planned for the 2021 Superbowl.
agreed!
super bowl halftime shows totally SUCK

Would be good, fun, AND DECENT for a change! *not that I watch the NFL anymore... These kids are too good for it!

I'm a 72 year old rocker and so glad to see that rock will never die. Rock on!
Two thumbs up
I've realized that it can't die. Humans are building a palace that will never be finished. Each generation will take the contributions of the previous and build on them. So the project will never be completed as long as there are humans to continue building the structure.
Now, will the music in a couple generations time impress us? Or will it be akin to sheer noise to our delicate ears? Who knows....
Hope to be still rockin when I reach your age!......and I'm 58!

Yeah, they can play, no doubt, but do you know how hard it is to put together a medley? To come up with the transitions between songs? Let alone make it work live? This is art.
Odds are one or more of their parents is in a band and taught them how to play, the medley and in general as a band. I give them full credit and respect for their talent too! 👍
Are you jealous? They are young kids and did a great performance!
@@windowdancercymbals8246 the person said nothing wrong
Yeah it's called practice.
Play in a punk band
These kids are blood talented.. Drew and Dave are talking about how special their bassist, it's hard to play bass and try and sing at the same time, he mastered it perfectly! The Rest of the Band also keeps up with the changes! the backing vocals provided by the drummer and guitarist are incredible! very talented kids!
They're so good! I don't even know these kiddos and I'm so proud of them!! Well done, boys!!!

Can't get over how polished they are at that age? Incredible. Parents raised them right.

Great performance guys!!!
Man the singer is like 12 and sounds awesome he has a great future ahead
The guitarist, especially near the end, looked so natural n cool demeanor...and jammed like it was old hats. I'm 48 and grew up around my uncle's and this music fortunately. That guitarist acted and WAS just like the old school best. It's like he was reincarnated n just continuing where he left off in the last life. Jamming. Just looked so natural, like it had been many years
Nah, He's like 11
When you're in puberty you can't sing like that or you're gonna sound like you're doing vocal fry
That was honestly a better performance than these past few Superbowl performances.
jsvkia1 Maybe these kids should perform at this years Superbowl lol
jsvkia1 can't argue on that point. Hope their schedule is open!

I can't believe their timing is so good . They can groove . All musicians know how difficult that is .
on my side me and my band have a hard time to get the timing at least good timing its hard even with a lot of experience they are really good
even for seasoned musicians...the timing is the hardest to nail. they did great.
They got rhythm
Actually they had several speed ups and slow downs. But that all good , true timing only comes with many years of performance , and practice.
And they still have many years to go ...
Wow,
Nice gig boys. Don't mind the haters, their totally lost and confused. Never stop playing. I'm 63yrs old and totally enjoyed that. Rock on.

Someone commented “looks like a retirement home field trip” and “too bad they played for a retirement home”. If so, then then these talented young musicians are playing to the original audience, by performing covers of the great music that these “old retired people” listened to in their youth!! We might be old/retired, but “our” music is also many decades old, and still fabulous. TNT by AC/DC was released in 1976. The next song was written by Neil Young, who was born in 1945 = 69 yrs old in 2014. If you respect this music, and the “old” musicians, then please respect their equally “old” fans, who supported their work, back in the day. The last song, by Led Zeppelin, was released in 1971, nearly half a century ago....and it is still great. My total respect to these talented young men.
You nailed it bro!! These kids are great!! Us “old folk!” We’re so lucky to have grown up in the times when Led Zep, Black Sabbath, AC/DC just to name a few, were still in the recording studios!! I hope these kids are still jammin somewhere!! 🤘😎💨
yes! you nailed it. On a side note, I love it when newer artists perform with older artists. In the 90's, Neil Young performed Rockin' in the Free World with Pearl Jam on the MTV music awards. Still Rockin!

Absolutely fantastic young lads. Your arrangement sure impressed me and not much can do that.
I love the arrangement of some of my favorite rock songs ever! I grew up during the 70's and 80's and so these songs are part of the soundtrack of my life. These cats (I'm a jazz musician, couldn't help it 😀) are the real deal. The phrasing of each song through their interpretation still rang very true to the original but they definently made it their own as well. I wish I would have come across this video when it was recorded and not 7 years later. These young musician are men now. I have to find out if they're still in this most magnificent creative process called music. I remember when I was a teen, a DJ in San Jose, CA on a show called Sunday Morning Jazz would say this as he was signing off. "Remember! Music is cool, but live music is way cooler!" Very cool indeed!
Love the voice of the frontman. These kids were born to rock.
