Great video man! I had an FR12 & 10 in to try. Really impressed with both. The EQ is very handy. I’m going to pick one up to keep as soon as I can get one (using a Headrush 108 at the moment).
I'm a home player and I have the headrush 108 mark ii. It sounds good but I'm considering getting the fr-10 or fr-12. Did you notice a big difference between them or is 1 preferable over the other for a home player?
Rosh, Just wanted to thank you for this video series! Had my FM 9 Turbo for just a few weeks now and this series is a Godsend! Also ordered a Fender FR-12 today to use with it to dial in tones. Great playing also my dude!
Sounds great. Just wondering, not using a modeler, can I plug my line out pedal board in to the FR-12 powered speaker cab? I have a couple of overdrive pedals, a comp and delay.
This video is very informative. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to buy the FR-12 today. I’m very exited to try it with my Quad Cortex. I’m still learning how to set ip the output and input levels.
If you're running an XLR from the FR12 to FOH...keep in mind that the FR12 has no protection against phantom power (if the soundman accidently turns it on) and the FR12 could get fried. I think I saw you on the forum about the FR12 fix, so you might know already that WKSmith built a preamp replacement that includes said protection.
The stage snake was by the drum kit, back of the stage. Easier to run a cable from there instead of all the way to the front of the stage. Less cabling to trip over.
Why David- why?? He just made a whole video about how and why he ran everything the way he did- And then straight off u ask why he did it the way he did it. 🤦🏻♀️🙅♀️. If he did it the other way you would be asking why he didn’t do it the way he did. 🤯
@@billyarsenault1970 well he was very gracious in answering my question anyway, so to you I say shut the F up and mind your own business and have a nice day!
As a home player I'm trying to choose between the fr-12 and fr-10. It would seem like maybe the 10 would be enough but have you tried both and have an opinion on the fr-10?
Hi great video, My question to you is i set up a Scene but t i still hear the clean tone on a OD and distortion scenes using amps what i did wrong please help thank you
Thanks Rosh!! ALWAYS appreciate the Fractal knowledge you share with us.
You're very welcome!

Thanks for this, just curious why did you go to front of house from the fr-12 instead of the fm9 directly?

Great video!! Any presets on axe change?
Thanks! I don't, I usually build custom presets for clients during 1:1 sessions.
I’ m a home player and i have got the QC modeler, is the fr-12 or the fr-10 too noisy to play at home? Where is the volume knob to play at home?
It's quiet. No hiss at all.
How is the feel/"amp in the room" feel of the fr 12?
Feels great

The FR10 would also be great for home use. The only real difference would be in the low end and the size.

I would have to take a look at the preset. Test using a factory preset and see if the problem persists,.
i can sent you the preset if you like@@RoshRoslin
how is the feel amp in the room thanx
Feels great. Lots of bass and low end. Use the cut knob to roll off the top end to get more of the amp-like tonality in your presets.
@@RoshRoslin thanx nate cheers
