Totally know what you mean! I commuted for years but I always had the option of the jump seat! All i can say is thank God for seniority! But if i had to do it all over again i would live in the city i was based out of! Your doing an awesome job at the videos! Keep up the great work!
Oh wow! Very informative and interesting at the sametime. There is alot to learn about the life of a pilot. Thanks for sharing. Bless up urself Garrett✌ 💖🇯🇲
Nice video man! You explained commuting and the lifestyle very well and you were quite articulate. I've been hunting for a video like this for some time now that I'm transitioning form mil to a major. Hope you catch on with a major soon if that is your goal (assume so) or get picked up via a flow program soon. Best of luck to you and congrats on the upgrade.
Wow...I didnt know you guys had to commute like that!! Interesting. All that commuting...and then flying..how and when do u guys get to sleep?? Isnt it mandatory to get at least 8 hours of sleep prior to flying??
Wow Garrett thank you for educating us. It was so interesting to know this, I honestly wasn’t aware this was a thing/issue. Really enjoyed ur vlog, really interesting content as always x
For commuting,do you have to pay your own airline ticket, and if u don't,then does it only cover it if u fly in your own airline for the commute? If it does cover it from your flight benefits as a pilot, does it take away from it?...meaning that do you have a maximum amount of times you can have a free ticket? Like for example if you worked at Disney and you only get 8 tickets every three months for you and your family to go.
well you dont HAVE to go to a regional. Guys at my company were picked up by UPS Fedex Frontier Southwest and Alaska none of them had 121 time some didnt even have jet time
love your videos. Continue the grind. Even though you might not see the results now, you will definitely see the results in the near future. You will reap what you sow.
Nice intro.! Love the video. How about mixing in some non-flying stuff about you personally? What are your tattoos of and what’s their meaning? Favorite clothing brands? Watches? Also, more day in the life and food related/workout videos would be great!
In your example, how would you not be absolutely exhausted by the end of the day’s flying, like illegally so. Surely if you had an incident on that day then the FAA would have a heart attack if they knew how long you’d been awake for 😬😬😬

Thank you. Do you get to choose where your base is or do they just assign you one?
I commuted for 5 years and it was a rush but not fun. There were good and bad days. But of course it's up to you to make it fun.

Great vlog Garrett it would make complete sense to fly with a company preferably close to where you live.
Your airline does not reserve a seat for you going to work ? What happens if they plane breaks down ?
