Descend into the mysterious depths of hidden tunnels, echoing with the ghosts of a bygone era when unsuspecting souls were forced into a life of maritime servitude. Step inside the haunting halls of a former mental institution, where the tortured spirits of patients past are rumored to linger.
Finally, venture to the enchanting Chateau nestled in the caves, where tales of ghostly encounters and unexplained phenomena have become an integral part of its rich history. Join us as we unravel the enigmatic stories that surround these haunted Oregon locales. Are you ready for the supernatural secrets that lie within? Watch on, if you dare!

I worked facility Maintenance at the Oregon state hospital for 5 years, can confirm it is 100% haunted. They filled in the tunnels a while back, but they were very eerie. I've heard footsteps and every coworker who's ever worked night shift has heard and seen things.

These are pretty stereotypical answers to any Oregon native. You want some real ominous haunted eerie feeling shit? Go to the ghost towns out in the central Oregon high desert. I’m talking places like antelope and shaniko. I’m telling you you just feel uneasy driving through those places.. Antelope is where the Rajneesh sex cult set up shop back in the 80’s but I think shaniko is freakier.. it’s a small, small town (if you can call it that) that used to be a booming railroad stop and the wool making capitol of the world in the early 1900’s. Now there’s nothing but a gas station, ice cream shop, post office, cafe, and a hotel. I stopped in here driving by just looking for a bathroom. Gas station was closed but said there’s a bathroom at the hotel. So I walk to the hotel passed the closed ice cream shop and closed post office.. Both of these buildings by the way have mannequins staring at you through a window by the way. I make it to the hotel which says open so I go to open the door and boom it’s open! I go inside… No one. I ring the little bell at the desk, no one. I walk around through the lobby over to the little dining area, no one. I walked through this hotel for 30 minutes and did not encounter a single living soul. IM SORRY HAS ANYONE EVER WALKED THROUGH AN EMPTY HOTEL THATS OPEN FOR BUSINESS YOU FOUND IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EMPTY TOWN FULL OF MANNEQUINS IN THE DESERT???

Thanks for checking out this video @chuckyd7366. As native Oregonians ourselves we know there are SO many haunted places in our state, especially in Central Oregon, and will be releasing more videos with some of these locations in the future. Have you had a chance to visit any of these other spooky spots before?

I actually stayed at the compound that cult set up shop at for my 'senior skip day' thing back in '08, it was surprisingly nice. I have no idea what the school officials were thinking booking that place for a bunch of 18 year olds to go hang out, or if they were being completely honest with us about where we stayed.

I checked into the lighthouse and found nothing about the missing girl (The story tells you it's not true), but there was death's. A keeper was found dead inside the morning after he had a heart attack, the article said he was fully dedicated to his job (maybe he's still doing his job). A man doing repairs fell from the lighthouse dying soon after (could be the man people say they see falling). Another man was doing work near the lighthouse and falling. The closest I found to a female dying connected to the lighthouse, was a 33yr old woman who's father worked at the lighthouse when she was a child (She passed away suddenly at her home). I am co-founder of a paranormal group, and I don't chase down made of ghost stories. But like this location, stories get mixed up "But that don't mean there's not a incident which could cause a haunting". If I go to a haunted location I don't want to be rude calling a spirit by the wrong name, or getting the reason surrounding their death wrong. I love all lighthouses and hope to see this one, I don't need a ghost to be drawn to a lighthouse "The view is plenty enough reason".

I found out about a ghost town in the mountains just this summer, been to it twice now and it always leaves me feeling kinda spooked. It's near-ish to Cottage Grove. You can actually see the tailing piles from the mine on google with the satellite view, it's called Bohemia City/Bohemia Mines. The whole region is just littered with old mine adits. I've been trying to figure out what's out there around Crystal Lake and Elephant Lake and can't find any information.

I was raised in Ashland all my childhood & into my 30’s from the 60’s 70s 80s 90s … Moved back home in my 40s for awhile so it’s safe to say .. I’ve spent a lot of time at Lithia Park !! Was also there during the flood when we had to rebuild !! It was a community effort ! We thankfully got it back to its natural beauty as for haunting I’ve never yeasts of any but us kids did have spread stories about the Witches that would come out on the road around the a full moon although, none of those kids in town ever seen them, and it was more like urban legend than anything!!
The real haunting and scary places around Jackson County is Jacksonville, Oregon and Table Rock !!
I was surprised they were not mentioned at all??
Been to the lighthouse many times during my 20s, my friends during the day and night & have to say at night it has an eerie feel to it, but we’ve never encountered anything other than that I have heard others that have think there was a couple of murders out there somewhere ??

I’m curious if Muriel trevenard was even real? I’m sure we would have had very old articles about her father asking for help..? It’s just a story made up unfortunately. Sad to say but it would have been awesome if it was real.

It's weird... the other times I've heard Muriel's story was in connection with the Yaquina BAY Lighthouse... the one actually in Newport.
As a child, we used to drive up to Yaquina Head Light not infrequently. This was back in the 1970's before any improvements were made.
I don't know about it being haunted, but the drive there used to terrify me... steep drop off into the ocean on one side... a cliff going up on the other... very narrow and possibly gravel at parts. And if you came upon another vehicle coming the opposite direction... I'd cower on the side of the car furthest from the ocean drop. lol
I really need to go up there one of these days. I'm sure the road has been much improved since the "good old days"! lol

The ducks at Lithia park are evil, they’ll harass you and bite your toes when you’re laying in the grass 😂 I’ve never encountered the hauntings, but I’ve always heard about them. Also love the cello guy!

Portland.. i lived in Gresham for a few years. And ive got some info to add to this .. out of place city that isnt talked about.
The waterfront. Y'all.. that wasn't always there. It used to be old world buildings. But, mid-late 1800's that all changed when the suits showed up and took over, corrupted, included themselves and their "police" in all the gambling and "lottery" (that's rigged. Still. But i digress) love shacks.., liquor trade, underground everything.. even in the Chinatown district.
So the waterfront. All the buildings were taken apart brick by brick and sold elsewhere as an "origin wonder/work of art" that coincidentally burned within 2 years of competition. And coincidentally, in the areas that held historical documents/relics/artifacts..
When the waterfront was completed, in the early 1900's, it flooded that entire area. Covering up more old world stuff. They didn't "take into account of the extra rain fall".. which is just bs. Because why wouldn't that ever be a factor for building these type of things. The residents of the area were forced out. Couldn't return to salvage anything. Sounds familiar.

When I was little my family took a walk through Lithia park. My little brother who was maybe 3 at the time was walking directly behind me. We were talking, then he stopped responding. I looked back and he was suddenly drowning in the nearby water, without a sound or splash. I yelled for my mom who dove in and rescued him and he was fine. But that situation never sat well with me and always seemed very strange. I am not surprised to hear legends of potentially vengeful spirits there.
