I live in seattle washington and i went to Kubota gardens about 3 years ago at night with a friend, I had the feeling of something following me and hearing girl screams without even knowing the place was actually haunted. Thank you for sharing these other locations i will check them out in the future and will work on getting real ghost hunting gear like an emf reader and uv light

I lived less than a quarter mile from Kubota for about 5 years and am a night owl. I'm surprised you didn't hear the gunshots that almost always preceded people screaming late at night in that area. Kubota is on the fringe of one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city. I wouldn't go there at night unless I wanted to get mugged and/or shot. The gardens are absolutely beautiful in the daytime, though.
OTOH, the house I lived in back then was legitimately haunted. I have a story or two, that's for sure. There was a darkness in that place.

I like the history you present us with. I've stayed at Thornewood Castle 3 times and didn't know the entire story about the castle's construction. It's definitely not haunted but is an aboslutely incredible place to stay and I highly recommend everyone goes and enjoys 1 night. It's like $250 but is worth every penny. Late spring through early fall is the best time so you can experience the gardens.

I used to be a tour guide at the Maritime Museum in Westport, Washington. We heard footsteps, banging, voices, and other things there. We were touched. We heard a growly voice on video say "get out!" Equipment malfunctioned there. It is scary. The museum sits empty now because they haven't been able to find anyone to man it.

Thornewood Castle is sadly very inhospitable to visitors, if you'd like to tour the grounds and see the beautiful castle, so DON'T TRY. It's not open to the public, the gates are locked and unless you pay thru the nose, you don't get in. So sad...

She will hitch hike and ask for a ride home... When you get to where she wants to go the house isn't there.... They had to knock the house down due to people trespassing and throwing party's a few years ago... She's know as our own lavender lilly the buffalo county ghost... About the knocking back after throwing stones at a vacant building… not going to comment about the social issues in either direction.. it’s a loaded topic.
Fact time though: If there is a vacant building in Rainier Beach, it is inhabited by homeless people. Stop disturbing them by throwing rocks and they won’t have to knock back.
