Me and my partner got the Vitamix 3500i two weeks ago and fair to say my only regret is not buying it sooner. It comes at a price, but it’s worth every penny! We’ve used it literally everyday, sometimes for every meal, and it has encouraged us to eat more whole foods. Win win win 😍
Wireless technology also a killer. I stopped buying new cars too. In future, we will NOT have that much options available, everything will be ''smart'', SUPER POLLUTED tech.
To make a real ice cream adding coconut cream is the way to go.
Use 2 bananas
1 12 ounces can of coconut cream
Add your favorite flavors and fruit.
Also you might start by placing 1 cup of juice in the blender or try ice cubes either water or frozen juice.
Make enough to place in your favorite ice cream freezer.
In a Cuisinart one and a half quart you need about one and a half quarts of ingredients.
Is coconut cream different from coconut milk?

The Ascent is still my favorite blender, but I do think for it's price range the ONE was impressive for sure!

I LOVE my Vitamix. I bought mine around 2000 & it still works. I dont use it often but I should.
I have a bullet blender... and its nice but I notice that its harder to make certain recipes that Kristina has soo this new Vitamix blender is something that I definitely need to invest in!!
I started watching you quite awhile ago and am pleasantly surprised that you are still at it. I am waiting to see my doctor as it feels like something is attacking my muscles and joints. I remembered watching you a long time ago and looked you up, I’m so glad you’re making new videos and you give me inspiration to try at it again for better health. Instead of juicing because I dislike having to clean the juicer, I am going to do blended fresh ingredients instead. I love the plants wall behind you, and I love having plants around me as well too. Smaller banana pieces blend easier. I use a very low quality blender /sadly/, but even it works when the frozen chunks are small :)
In some channels they even freeze the fruit and vegetables chopped into really small pieces, for the blenders to be able to handle thing like beetroot, carrot, etc, that become like a rock when frozen.
I agree with you! My Vitamix is the one kitchen appliance I would grab if I could only take one!

I love the blender you have I just wish they had different size options instead of the 64 oz cup.
I would do smaller recipes in the vitamix one then it should be fine. Like 3-4 frozen bananas instead of 6 and I would not pile it to the top with ingredients. I'm the opposite I make small recipes. I agree they are both great blenders!

I love Vitamix and believe it's the best blender out there!!! I am glad I watched this video because I thought I had the top of the line and didn't realize there was an Ascend model. Both recipes were amazing and I can't wait to try them!!!!!! Question, since I live in Texas which I thought you did to, which banana would be similar to what you used to day?

That’s is also my question. I’m looking for a glass blender instead of plastic given all the problems with plastic. I also think it wouldn’t be good to blend anything hot in plastic.

The reconditioned Vitamix doesn't have a dial control. this is the one thing I'm always looking for.. interesting they don't have it.. being it's only reconditioned and should have it ..?
The ONE clearly has MUCH less power than the 3500. I'm thinking really low, like maybe 500 watts. It actually stopped and started humming during the ice cream making.

What is your opinion of plastic vs glass containers in blenders? Plastics slowly erode with each use, blending their endocrine disruptive chemicals into the food being blended.
U wash it well and send cleansing vibrations into the food u consume and u wont have an issue

What happened with the Nama blender?
The Nama is a juicer, not a blender. That machine is the best JUICER in my opinion. Blenders and juicers are very different.
I love my Nama and my Vitamix.

The Vita-Mix one is simply a bar blender-used by bartenders to mix drinks. But you can be surprised what can be done with simple blenders. Early blenders we’re simple like theV1. Read their recipe books about what ou could do with them. Remember theskill is in the operator-NOT the tool.
Vacuum blending is way better nutritionally. I would not blend in a non-vacuum blender.

@@casper6532 I think I replied to him in a different post. As to your post, I’m not sure what you mean. There are clear chemical reasons for why it’s better. Oxidation. This is a chemical reaction. There’s also proof from other videos where you can just see the difference. I’ll post one shortly. There’s also a study about it, but I don’t have time to find it. Why would you respond like that so emptily?
@@blueraven0075 oxidation takes time to take effect. You take a smoothie outside of the vacuum it’s going to start oxidizing too.
@@casper6532 watch the video, even immediately after blending, you can see the difference. The research performed says either more than 30 or 60 percent retained of polyphenols when vacuum blending. Furthermore, oxidation does not take time exactly. When blending in a traditional blender, the chemical reaction with oxygen immediately happens. When blending it in a vacuum blender, where there will be a little oxygen but it will be a limiting reactant, there is barely any. Then and only then does it take time to oxidize, once outside it. Not in it.
Is Blendtec good? Much worse than Vitamix?
Vitamix is the best in my opinion.
Blendtec has a vacuum attachment. I would say it has the upper hand.
