    Nice review, I own the A3500 and I'm alone had the Kitchenaid K400 & Nutribullet before (and still have them). But to be honest if I buy a Vitamix I want it to do everything I think this is the point of investing into one. I bought the 20 oz and the 8 oz containers so if I can make small amounts too .I'm a student and saved up a long time to get one ( I live in Germany and the Vitamix is so much more expensive here it's 900€ for the A3500 and they don't sell the scale, dry container, aer container, food processor attachment which is actually very sad) I think it will take forever until they start selling the One over here if they actually ever do and if so it will probably be way more expensive

    The fact that Vitamix does not list motor specs, HP or Wattage, on their website speaks volumes. Add a much reduced warranty, and it tells me Vitamix is not too confident in this blender. Probably a good unit, but I think it will probably damage their brand, and will be discontinued in due time.

    • @LINY
      @LINY  3 роки тому

      Seems like Vitamix doesn’t want to participate in the horsepower / watts comparison game. Perhaps they’d rather let the ONE’s engineering and results be the differentiator?

    I have a Vitamix that I love. My sister and BIL even decided to buy their own after using mine but my full-size one was a headache sometimes. I live alone so sometimes, its just be too big for me, esp when I want to make sauces and dips. I bought a Nutrabullet just to make smoothies and dips but it's nowhere near as good as my Vitamix. But the One is EXACTLY what I was looking for from Vitamix. Thanks for the review! I'm going to purchase it.

    Thanks for sharing this. Your videos are super helpful. I think I’d LOVE one of these, but I already have an Ascent series Vitamix that I love. Question: what do you recommend for single serve smoothie bowls with the Ascent? The 64 oz makes a huge bowl. I bought the blending cup and bowl set which works for lots of stuff but doesn’t cut it for smoothie bowls without a lot of effort. Is it with it to invest in a 48oz container? Do they work for single serve size smoothie bowls? Thank you!!!

    A refurbed Explorian 320 blows the One away and is literally $20 more. They are both equally loud, and both have a nearly identical footprint and height. I have noticed on both the Explorian and One, couplings (connection to the base) is loose and seems to be causing noise that wouldn’t be there with better fitting parts. Is this a problem for all Vitamixes? My old blendtec home and this other BioChef brushless blender I am “auditioning” next to the Explorian, they both had more precise connections. That being said, the Blendtec was the loudest of all the blenders I’ve used (jet engine loud).

    Thanks for your review! Loads of perks for me with the Vitamix ONE. Question: I understand that you can't put the blender "pitcher" in the dishwasher which doesn't bother me whatsoever, but can I blend hot coffee such as hot "bulletproof" coffee? I make this every day and would need this to be possible. I have a full size Vitamix, but want an additional blender for my smaller smoothies and blending hot coffee for one person. Thanks!!

    I appreciate the company trying to engage different consumers. The Vitamix was a way for me to get a high quality kitchen tool, I have made smoothies a handful of times but usually prefer to eat fruit and veggies whole. The features that I like in my current Vitamix aren't available in the Vitamix One. As a single person what worked best for me was waiting for a sale and getting multiple containers (Recon V1200 came with 64oz low profile and 20oz cup, then bought 2 - 8 oz cups). With old blender that broke I had experimented with oat and lentil flour, but couldn't do more than that due to power of the previous blender. With the upcoming sale I am thinking of purchasing a dry grains container for different foods. The idea of making my own flour for appam or injera appeals to me. But unlike a grain mill I can use it for other things, (e.g. pounded yam); it will also be nice to have the dry grains container as an in between size when making things like toum or smaller batches of soup.
    I'm not a minimalist 😜

    1st of all it's it's a very handsome some unit and is that a glass pitcher? If so that's awesome! Also I have the explorian as well as AA Kenmore pro is Kenmore pro ( With a vitamix 5200 motor) Which I use on A regular basis and I think I made peanut butter is it butter in the explorian glorian once once? I guess it's nice to have that option but it shouldn't be a deal breaker because most everyone else has a food processor or a jar of Jiff Is in their pantry.

    Sooooo did they give up on fixing the "Food Processor" (tons of issues on the Amazon reviews), and just off to make another SKU. OR, are they going to actually fix it?
    I mean... instead of trying to jump into the "Blender" market, perhaps they could truly resolve their current issues so that we can have fewer devices and a streamlined kitchen.

    That's incorrect what was stated about the Vitamix blades being not sharp, Vitamix blades are engineered to be both sharp and dull, most blenders have blades that are either sharp or dull but not both. Vitamix blades are both, the sharp edge cuts and breaks down food and the flat edge works like a hammermill to smash and pulverize. That's what makes Vitamix blades so unique and why the Vitamix blenders produce such amazing results is because of both actions.

    Thanks for this information.
    Is it dangerous that there's only one dial and it turns blender off/ on AND starts it right away???
    I was all excited to buy this after your video but then I read a review mentioning the one dial, and now hmmm.
    www.cnet.com/home/vitamix-one-review-a-lower-cost-blender-with-a-potentially-dangerous-design-flaw/
    Also I'm learning from yet another review that this is super loud, and that's one thing I don't like about the Explorian. I am looking for vitamix blender in the Explorian and One price range.
