Some advice for you, I’m learning as I go with my first taco, get the clam shell bushing installed on the front diff and then look into some decent upper uca. I got freedom off road for mine . Puts the upper ball joint in a better angle and you can dial in the camber and castor a lot better on your alignment. Sharp looking truck. You’re correct on everything you say. I still gotta get cmc possibly for mine though. Slight rub on the deep turns only
Guys, don't cut up your tocoma. If you want 285 go with a zero offset rim and 2inch front and 1 inch rear and your good to go ..it's that easy. And if you want to sell your tacoma . It's still in factory shape 🎉🎉🎉🎉....
Only downside is you're going to have less down travel if you're going to be off roading. Your UCAs will hot your coilovers. If you're running 35s with stock gears 1) your mpg is going down 2) your tranny is going to be putting to much strain on the diff.. also if you have toyota warranty and do the "cut" near the cab mount your warranty is void.. This is just for those folks that might just wanna jump the gun.. If you're ok with it then more power to ya
@@willyota Guess my local dealerships lied to me lol. Looked it up & you are correct. Also I read "285s" and immediately thought 35s for some reason. You should be good with ur setup. If you start to hear a whistle check your needling bearings . Keep on making the vids & love the color
Every angle of that truck looked awesome except for the end of the video where it sat different , love the color of your truck also ! I just got my black taco and can’t wait to get my 1.5 inch spacers !!

I ran 285/70/17's on mine with absolutely no trimming or anything needed. Had 0 offset wheel no rub at all. Depends on the wheels.

These are 33s and I agree with most of what you’re saying. CMC doesn’t void warranty however

The offset makes your wheels look like 35s. Not my taste but if that’s what you’re going for it does the trick
What suspension are you running?
sweet rig bro🤙🏼
