Your recent video about fitting large tires is like the bookend/opposite version of this video! Yours gives a detailed explanation about how to fit large tires. I just throw them on and show how it doesn't work. 🤣
Fun video. You should do a comparison on how much work a Tacoma needs for 35s vs Colorado with 35s. Feel like Tacoma might be less work. Colorado owner here
Much appreciated. One high quality video a week is the goal. Life and the day job make it a challenge but I have high asperations for this cheesy channel.

Hey there! We did test fit 33's off camera. I'm guessing (not confirmed yet) I'd need to do the body mount chop... but not the entire relocation 35's would require. Also... upper control arms would help. I also have new front wheel well liners I need to install that should help. Check the video linked in the description from Tinkerer's Adventure. He explains it really well. I'll be releasing the video about my suspension soon. We just installed the new leaf springs and I'm very pleased. In a nutshell... I have Bilstein 6112's with 650 lb Eibach springs (to support the weight of the winch and bumper) along with SumoSprings Bump Stops in the front. In the rear I have OME Dakar Medium Duty leaf springs, SumoSprings Bump Stops and Bilstein 5100's.
But mine fits 40s stock... Weird, haha
😂 I don't know man. I seem to remember watching 30 videos about your Taco not being stock!
@Jason Explains Things It's still basically stock though 🤣 That series was mostly bolt on stuff like raptor lights, and stickers.
@@DirtGarage Well.... I guess stock Ford axles.
You need to look in to 74weld portal axles. It lifts about 4" and no regearing and 37" and up tires. No Christmas lights on the dash. Unbelievable
Lol so much fun! This is such a good video topic!

I heard that tone when you saw those sexy tires on Sarge! 😂

Great idea!
Do it Jason! For science.
Love the videos man, keep them coming. I see a new video, I like instantly

Do it Jason get 35s on your Tacoma. Do a little bit bigger lift and what ever cutting you need to do.😊
Oh jeez. I’m guessing 33s very well could happen. We’ll see. 😅
Lift doesn’t fit tires. Stop talking about lift and big tires in the same sentence
@@alexs825 every person I see that has bigger tires has a lift on the truck or Jeep

So it begins!
🙃
I timmed my body mount and fenders with some caster to clear 35s
Do you have the alignment sheet with what caster you got?
@jnancelvr1140 I might lemme look for it
The MGS alert sounds are the icing on the cake!
Next stop on my Taco......35s!
Maybe just 33’s. :-)

Lets go 35’s!!
33’s are more likely… but man they look good.
@@JasonExplainsThings they sure look good in the Sand dunes:)
Mine fit 35s with a 6inch lift like nothing no cutting at all on top of 2" bolt on wheel spacers thinking about running 37s in the future.
It's fine, it's ALL fine. 😂😂😂
Would 33 12.5's fit then? Interested in your suspension setup. Just getting started with my 23 TRD Off Road!

@@JasonExplainsThings Thank you so much!
"Rubbin's racin'!!" You know, you coulda got another 3° turning if you had just removed the inner fender liners and flares, c'mon! lolol
A whole 3?! Back to Nate’s! I need to borrow those tires again! 🤘
@@JasonExplainsThings 🤣
Lol, this is awesome…..
So your able to fit 35s on with a 2inch lift ? But you’ll have to relocate your cab mount correct?
I’d imagine you’ll also need new upper control arms, body mount relocation and other clearancing too.
Can we add a poll if Jason should do 35s?
Looks great! What offset and width are rims?
Thanks! Here's the wheel details:
PRO COMP 69 Series
Size: 17 x 9
Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5
Finish: Flat Black
Offset: -6
Backspace: 4.75
Ok thanks. Great content by the way.
If I could suggest a 8 inch wide rim and 0 offset . You may find results surprising.
Pizza cutters maybe ? 35x10.50x17 on steelies.
How does your suspension do compared to stock?
It’s fantastic. The new leaf springs fixed all the issues I was still having with the lift blocks. The video will be out in the coming month or so.
@@JasonExplainsThings
Right on!!
Thanks
But DAMN those meaty tires look good!
I know! 🥹
I think u need a 2 inch lift lmao
That’s what I have pretty much.
It's all shits and giggles till you ruin Jo's tires
I think we were all more worried about the truck.🤣
We were pretty cautious. Fun times Nate!
