- I wanted to try out a new way to make money. So I tried flipping furniture on Facebook Marketplace. I found a free dining set and sold it for $350! That money was all profit because I paid nothing for this dining set. This was such an easy way to make extra money! If you're looking for a new side hustle you have to try this!

Yes! Love this!!! Keep up the hustle!!
Thanks a bunch!
I buy and flip also...been doing it for years and rent a space in a store. I started flipping on marketplace a few months back and often wonder if the people I buy from see my posts, lol
I really like it also! Great find!
Nice! You got more than I thought you would.
Haha... it’s definitely not for everyone.
I love this! This is one of my main sources of income. I resell for a living. When I flip furniture, I usually revamp it in some way. Paint, stain, whatever it needs. I watched the video that you did after this one. The fact that you found furniture that you had to do minimal work is amazing!! I would think that you could get around $300
I can respect the revamp! I'm not the best at diy's so I've been sticking with items that require minimal work. I'm all for a little spray paint or cleaning it up, but I don't think I have the skills to do much more than that. I'm currently attempting to refinish a desk for myself. It's so much work and it's time consuming! I feel like it would be difficult to charge appropriately for something like that.
@@StephOnThePedal Charging for the work that you put into a piece is definitely a challenge! Many people are not willing to pay for what the piece is actually worth after all of the labor. Every piece has a buyer. The trick is finding that buyer in a little time as possible. Otherwise you have a "showroom" of furniture. As I saw on your video. There is definitely a market for what you are doing though. Finding good pieces with minimal wear and selling them to people who have no desire to go out and search the thrift stores. Good luck! You seem to be off to a great start!
Thanks so much! Good luck to you as well!
I started flipping furniture and made a UA-cam video all about my first month on the biz lol thanks so much for the inspiration!
Fantastic!
I love your boldness
Most people giving stuff away for free just want to get rid of it
I found your channel because of instacart, I hope you make more of those videos soon because I’m obsessed. No offense, but has anyone ever told you that you look like Kaley Cuoco?
Understandable! I think most people found me bc of Instacart. However, I always intended for gig work to be a temporary thing for me. You’ll probably see less of those videos but I do have one planned for the end of the month. Also, everyone says I look like Kaley Cuoco. Haha... not offended.
Hey Ang... Ey...s, long time, this is so funny, I've also been reselling stuff on eBay and researching how to also flip furniture and stuff, I live close to some rich neighborhoods and they throw away some good stuff, I've been picking what fits in car while doordashing 😂😂, soo later on I could sell
It’s so addicting! This is my intro into the reselling world but I suspect I’ll move into online reselling soon enough. Have you sold any furniture yet or are you holding out?
@@StephOnThePedal I've sold video games and vintage toys on eBay recently, but haven't tried to sell furniture yet, but I have sold some of my personal furniture in the past and they have sold quickly on marketplace and offer up. It is addicting, soon I'll be going to flea markets, yard sales, thrift stores to find stuff
@@StephOnThePedal from my understanding shoes sell well also
You mean shoes for eBay? I’ve also heard shoes do well.
@@StephOnThePedal actually, I've sold 2 pairs of shoes in good condition on marketplace and offer up, at the price I set, as you well know, you could find some good info on ..... You guessed it UA-cam 😂😂😂, There's a couple from here that a killing selling mainly shoes and clothes. I'll send you there channel
What do I think about the set?
Why -- You had me at *FREE*!! 😉
Have you ever watched the show Storage Wars? That one girl does remarkable things with old furniture she gets from her winning bids.
Great artistic outlet.
Haha nice! I’m not so good at DIYs so I’ll probably stick to items in good condition.
I feel like people in Denver are the type that don't want to pay a good amount for furniture second hand. IDK if that's just me tho.
I feel like I’ve received pretty good rates for my furniture. However, I’m not sure I would be able to get an appropriate amount for something that I put more work into.
I think you live in my neighborhood 😂
Weird!
Did you see my listing? Lol
@@StephOnThePedal I am in SE Aurora too. Your Townhouse (?) Layout looks like mine. By the reservoir
Oh no, I’m not by the reservoir. It doesn’t surprise me that they would look similar.
