  • I've been very successful flipping chairs for profit. In this video I will talk about how much money I've made reselling chairs in the past two months. I also give you a full walkthrough of how I find the chairs, prep the chairs, and list the chairs on Facebook Marketplace and Offer Up. This is a very thorough tutorial on how to flip furniture.

You should also consider cleaning the chairs due to those who have allergies to cats because without the cleaning an allergy attack can happen as soon as the furniture is in their home. Plus the chairs will look even better. Happy Flipping.

Just watched your vid for the first time, along with 'Furniture Flipping Teacher', and thought you both were very impressive,
but i have to say. I really liked the way FFT CLEANED-UP her chairs in just a very few more minutes, along with her SET-UP,
it made the chairs look much more appealing. - TYSM for sharing YOUR talents.

Mid century modern is approximately 1947-1970. These chairs are 1980's. The skirts are to prevent dust from accumulating under the chairs. The dingy dirty discoloration could be helped with cleaning them.

I just subscribed. I love flipping furniture. I’ve been doing it for about 2 years and I recently decided to create my own UA-cam and teach people how to flip for profit. I’m still learning how to edit lol but I’m just showing some support for another furniture flipper. I have yet to find a chair like this but I’ve been looking. You did a great job.

You could always make some Thin trim out of the fabric you remove and glue it back onto the chair where it is discolored Amazing how much better they all look without the skirts

I actually live in the Denver area & saw your listing of those mid Century mod blue chairs when I was browsing FB the other day!! I got excited since I watch your UA-cam channel (: I started flipping about a month ago & you were a big inspiration as far as trying to sell all types of furniture pieces, which I’ve found great success in. I started with chairs and now will sell anything that’s not too big/heavy to carry up to my second story townhome. I’m always on the look out for a new video from you💓

Great video! Fellow Coloradan here 😊 What do you do if people ask a lot of questions about the history of the furniture and the brand or store it’s from? I want to start flipping but remember how many detailed questions I received from people when I sold my own dresser and nightstand on FB Marketplace. Just wondering if you have any tips on researching pieces that you bought from thrift stores or do you just honestly tell potential customers that you bought it from a thrift store?

I love flipping many things!! The thing with me and chairs/sofas is not only the skirts etc but many times the fabric/colors. I realize that would be very costly to change but that's usually what keeps me from buying chairs. An emerald green is really trending but hard to find..

When you get a pair of.chairs list it as 1 chair if you get calls just say its available till you sell both
The peacock chairs if you split them up you couldve sold for 250 each easily.
Those velvet chairs go for 195 each all over the place. Try pricing higher than your high price then go down if you have to. Great video.ike your spirit. Ive been wanting to do this for years wish I had a truck. I have the room and the hands. Lol

Consider buying some fabric trim and tacking it on with upholstery tacks or hot glue for fabric. Mid century modern are structured pieces and generally have tapered legs, sometimes angled (the legs are under $4 each if you order from home depot. You can also get angled cleats so the legs angle.)

You can get some needlenose vise grip pliers for around $15 at Home Depot that make this way easier since it grips the staples and lets you use your strength pulling instead of squeezing. There's an Irwin brand pair on Amazon for under $10.

Just as a comment, clean them up more affectively for people who have allergies & in addition cover up the spot of the skirts with some Notions & accessories them. I understand the reasoning behind ripping off the skirts, I saw another channel doing the same thing, but I don’t understand who’s buying these. Just like the other channel when the skirt came off I thought wait.. you’re just going to leave it like that? It looks like ass leaving discoloured hole-ridden fabric at the bottom of a chair in my opinion. 🤷‍♀️ I guess the lesson here is that people will buy anything.

  • @kerrymadgett9852

Ok first stop using that screw driver and stabbing and making holes in a chair that someone until you got ahold of them looked perfect. Separate a small space carefully and insert a scissors and cut the skirt. Pull the skirt away from the chair. Secondly use a pliers to remove staples winding the staple around the pliers to remove. Using a wire cutter will cause a possible cut to the wire.
You need to clean the chairs with a carpet furniture cleaner. Ugh who wants yeas of dead skin of a stranger in their new chair.
