I'm not sure if the UA-camr you're talking about that doesn't stay in the hotels is one I'm subbed to, as the one I'm thinking of goes to hotels mostly in Blackpool and doesn't stay in nearly all of them just reviews them and leaves, but has stayed in the odd, but they're normally ones he takes his missus and kid to. that step is dangerous and the bodged lino in bathroom reminds of lino in my old house in Blackpool the cowboy maintenance bloke landlord employed done (He also happened to maintenance for Avano Hotel no joke lol, used to bang on about it like its paradise) Showers a death trap. Never been Bridlington, but looks totally dead no joke looks a total ghost town and deffo not a patch on Blackpool not just being biased, but never seen a place so dead and was surprised to see all those lights upstairs in hotel as it seemed dead there as well.

I’m not a spark but that shower is extremely dangerous it would be marked as a c1 on a eicr rectify immediately or isolate it normally shower covers are held on with screws also old school cable colours so installation is over 20 years old

I'm sure you could have clipped the shower cover back on and it would be OK, or tell reception and they could have swapped rooms or let you use shower in an unoccupied room. Don't think you were in danger, UK electrics are the safest in the world (see some of the American UA-cam channels, they're in awe of our plugs 😂), but it's still a shock (sorry!), cover fell off the extractor fan in the bathroom of my new flat, I jumped a mile 😊
This was a cool video, Adam. That 🚿 was a massive fire hazard, and you should've reported it. It was a nice surprise to see a room so clean, aside from the dust on the 🖥, picture and 🪞 frames. But other than that, it was a decent room.
Hi Adam , Childhood memories for us both in Brid , As for the Hotel , Well what can I say , I can almost smell the Damp myself , and as for the Shower😮, That would be fum mid shower , and the cover comes off ! 😶🌫😶🌫😶🌫, Inststant Firefowks , Good to see the Bedding was ok , But the Springs have had a good workout 😂 , The Hotel could do with tidying up the Paint work , and treating all the Damp issues , But the Shower ! NO , that needs all the electrics checking , due to the Damp , If not Well , It was Tidy and Clean , Just some serious issues with the Damp . I used to go to Bridlington as a kid for a week with the football team I used to play for …. We absolutely loved it as kids it was brilliant , we used to play the local school football teams as a little pre season getaway …. It was a lovely place back then 25yrs or so ago

Heart went out of it then , played abit of semi pro football in Scotland at 18-19 and gave up before I was 20 sadly ☹️

I used to go to Bridlington as a kid for a week with the football team I used to play for …. We absolutely loved it as kids it was brilliant , we used to play the local school football teams as a little pre season getaway …. It was a lovely place back then 25yrs or so ago
Can I ask what team you played for ? As a junior my team (colton juniors) did the Skegness tournaments. Fantastic memories
@@AdamsRottenRooms : when I went to Bridlington it was with bulkhaul juniors , also played for Cleveland juniors and tontine juniors before going to Leeds United academy , got released because of an ACL injury (year or so later) tried 1 last shot with my career and went to Darlington academy but same injury came back to haunt me …. Heart went out of it then , played abit of semi pro football in Scotland at 18-19 and gave up before I was 20 sadly ☹️
