    A real power adder as well as mpg improver is to switch to Amsoil, engine lube oil, transmission, Tcase and rear axle.
    Try it, you'll like it. 10X greater film strength than other oils, reduced friction, increased mpg.
    Professional diesel & heavy equipment mechanic for 40 + years.
    Used Amsoil in every kind of vehicle/ equipment you can imagine starting in 1978.
    By switching all your lube oils to their full synthetic oils you will see 4 mpg or better increase.

Looks amazing man! now i look at my engine bay an start think now i need to clean it and paint it but its going about a inch of oil and gunk so I might go through a few toothbrushes and about a case of brake clean 😂

      Take it from me, I just did the HPOP lines swap/added crossover oil line so I know the frustration of working on that side of the fuel bowl where the copper fuel lines/HPOP outfittings are all crammed together.
      Here's what I did that I was absolutely KICKING myself for not doing earlier, for all the hours of swearing and sweating and struggling when I didn't need to.
      The answer? CROWS FEET WRENCHS. They are a gift from heaven! They keep the skin on your knuckles, the sanity in your brain and the swear jar empty! Not only that, but they aren't just a "use them once then never again" either... you'll find yourself going to those puppies all the time!

    I recommend ordering 4 banjo bolts from RiffRaff diesel or driven diesel as a upgrade.

    • @FixItNick
      @FixItNick  4 роки тому +1

      Only 2 is needed, I talked to RiffRaff they said stock ones are fine on the other sides won’t make any difference since you are actually feeding in fuel into the heads on driver front and pass rear.

    • @williamprentice8165
      @williamprentice8165 4 роки тому

      I personally have installed all 4 on mine. It seems the power delivery is a little smother. The banjo bolts holes are pretty small. Even though the passenger and driver is being feed by 2 of them.The other 2 can help with the return flow. That’s how I thought of it.

    • @FixItNick
      @FixItNick  4 роки тому

      william prentice yea maybe a tiny bit might help, RiffRaff told me unless going bigger injectors and bigger pump then it won’t matter much

      Ok. I understand my truck is 99 f250 stock except for HPX,EBPS relocation, and the 4 banjo bolts.It’s also pretty quiet with 4 of them on the highway compared to stock. This is just my opinion. I really enjoy watching your videos but figured I would recommend 4 instead of the normal two.

      @FixItNick  4 роки тому

  • @frankvacanti5277
    @frankvacanti5277 2 роки тому

    Two things. Why didn't you seal the bottom plug with check ball behind the IPR? I know Ford says it's non serviceable But if that leaks you got to pull that hpop all over again. International does have a kit that includes that longer thread and check ball. Is it true that the state of California has outlawed 7.3 powerstrokes ?

    • @rigoffear
      @rigoffear Рік тому

      CA has not outlawed the 7.3l
      They have made it so shipping parts to CA that alter the truck in any way is illegal due to emissions.
      If your 7.3l came off the line with a CAT then it must be there for visual inspection to smog. If it didn't come off the line with one then you can smog without it.
      Or just don't register your truck in CA and avoid all the bullshit.

    So the orange boots on my truck (which I am assuming are OEM) are absolutely COVERED in fiberglass particles, making working just in their vicinity an extremely painful process, even while wearing gloves/sleeves.
    Since I'm starting to believe this is not a normal issue and just my truck, does anyone have any ideas how to remove some of the fiberglass from them? Cause every time I make adjustments in that area it looks like I have hives from all the particles in my skin and is pretty painful.
