Nina Legath is the Global Head of Communications for BHGE’s Turbomachinery business. She is a former journalist with 18 years in international media and communications roles. Her broad experience is with agencies and the corporate world across internal and external communications, marketing and branding. Communication is the most powerful aspect in our daily lives. Communication is about meaning and connection and especially it is one of the human daily needs. It is important on how to convey information than just getting information. Always remember that when communicating, it's not about you. It's about others. If you want to have a good communication, you need to focus on other rather than yourself to boost the entire level of communication. With this, for sure, it will definitely help your daily lives and will help you communicate with people easily and to decide efficiently.
I agree as to what the speaker said about communication being one of the most fundamental skill every person needs to learn. "No man is an island." An individual cannot live with just himself, without someone to communicate to. We share information everyday either verbal, non-verbal, or with the use of social media. It helps build relationships. It helps connect people and let one another learn and understand. It gives meaning to life. With superior communication skills, we won't find it difficult in applying jobs, even when having the career itself. If we'll foresee the future communication will be really of much need since almost everything will be automatic. Human roles would be decision making, connecting, conveying, and relationship building. We should learn how to communicate efficiently to survive in this constantly changing world. With good communication skills, it will prevent people from misunderstanding. You can inform, persuade, and entertain people. In this way you can inspire others and the chains goes on.

This video emphasize that communication is a significant impact about meaning and connection that human needs whatever technology changes are. If we concentrate on the aim of our communication and begin to think about others rather than ourselves, then the power of our communications will carry us through life.
The speaker explained communication as an important skill a person can have, and how powerful it is. In this modern world, technology can also communicate but humans are more genuine. The way we communicate is more impactful since we have feelings. When we communicate, we desire to establish in our senses that it is all about how people will comprehend our message. Since it is not about us. Thus, we need to be mindful to avoid miscommunication as communication is fundamental for people to understand another.
Words that comes from our mouth have also power and have a big impact. It can influence the human mind through emotional and mental. words are used to make communication to other people and I agree to the speaker that communication skill is one of the important skills that people can have because without communication there will be a huge problem between people. It will might cause some misunderstanding and that misunderstanding will definitely lead to a major problem. I really understand the concept of why communication is very important in todays generation in the speaker's example. Today's world are full of technology and it can be seen anywhere. It might be in your office, Hospitals, houses, Malls and etc. Even we are surrounded by technologies, communication is still have a big impact to the world. The purpose of communication is to convey messages to other people as we have heard in the speaker's example. Based on the video, one of the things to do to boost your communication skills is to remember that communication is not all about you. To boost your communication skills is to think what people want to hear about that topic your discussing, what are their emotion connected to the topic and etc. it is mostly about them and not just yourself. Communication is about meaning and connection and I will say this again without communication there will be problems.
Communication is indeed of great importance. Though I'm still struggling to enhance my communication skills. When I was still young, I was always shy and not good with others. I'm going to observe that person first until I feel safe around him. But then, a part in my life when my stage fright awakened and made me struggle sm with my communication skills. The feeling of seeing all people's reactions as I embarrassed myself felt so traumatic. Adding how my mother felt disappointed in me as I stuttered with my speech, left me broken and down. So it's been long years since fighting this fear and weakness in me. And I observed that the vision of my communication skill is just to deliver that message to others. I think that what I lack is knowledge so that I can establish a connection between whom I am talking with.
I agree that. Communication is very important according to this important world. You must remember the communication is not about you its the concern the others.

Communication is one of the most important things that we can and lucky to have. It may be used and expressed in a verbal and non verbal way. This helps us to express our feelings, sharing thoughts, opinions & etc. We cannot deny the fact that we can't live a day without communicating. This is something that we always do everyday. It may be with our families, friends, classmates/schoolmates, workmates, loved ones and others. But in today's generation, technologies also evolved. It now helps us to communicate with each other easily with just one click. With that, we can build stronger relationship towards our families, relatives, friends, loved ones & others. But if we are going to use technology in a negative way, communication is also powerful that it can make or break someone. We have to be mindful of what to say and of what the reader/receiver might feel. This is to avoid any conflicts and miscommunication towards others. Because of this mind set and practice, we can make communication more meaningful and more powerful. Always bear in mind that communicating with sincerity, full of emotions, and empathy is something that makes us unique and cannot be copied with any technology.

Communication does a lot of impacts whatever technology changes are. If one does not reflect on the words he/she say to the people they're talking to, their purpose of communication would be irrelevant to the listener. That is why when we are talking to someone, it is important to remember that communication isn't about you. We should also consider what would people feel about what we say.

The speaker in the video wants to tell us how effective communication is and its importance. Technology and many other new things may be developed as time pass by communication will always be on top of it. We humans create those innovation and we humans always need communication that's why communication is something we really need.
My insights about the video is about how the speaker emphasizes that it is more important to convey information than to learn information in communications. The speaker also sighted how powerful the impact of communication in the field of medicine, because the human doctor will take in the information and form a vision, a story. He or She will then communicate or share the story with the patient, right and discussing options about next steps so that the patient can take good decisions and feel good about it. As a conclusion, the way we communicate can be very effective in different ways.
The speaker emphasizes that technology would be useless if not used properly because of miscommunication. Knowing how to communicate with empathy is what makes people unique and can't be copied by technology. Moreover, communication is highly significant because it leads to understanding and harmony.
