Express Yourself is my favorite Madonna song EVER since it was released in 1989 and I was in 8th grade. I learned all the choreography and then had to learn Vogue in 1990. The vocals of this performance are my favorite. I hope we see this again in Celebration Tour!
God I love Madonna. Watching this performance has completely changed what was a depressed and horrible mood into feeling great. Watching the stuff she's doing now makes you forget what an incredible performer and artist she was. The original best. If it weren't for Madonnna so much of what is being done today would be different.

I don't think The Girlie Show was one of her better tours but vocally, she hit her peak 1992/93 - she sounds amazing here.

bustergoldenrod for me "The Girlie Show World Tour (1993)" is her best tour, I only wished her Frankfurt, Germany date wasn't cancelled due to technical problems, and she included "This Used To Be My Playground", and "Rescue Me" to her set-list in this tour, these would be far more brilliant, amazing.
As with every era of her career, there are so many bright spots about this. She's fresh and feisty here, probably one of her best live vocals (certainly of this song at least). Nikki and Donna's vocals framed her so well. The production values are high but not overblown; the performance relies on their talent. And the arrangement of the song is just so damn fun.
She always take us to a place where we're never been before!👌🏻
you can't blame her, it's hard to sing while dancing at the same time, it's just like you're talking under the water. she's giving her best in every performance she's doing. (to make her fans be entertained very well.) ofcourse the only QUEEN of queens. :)
Now THAT is why Madonna is and will ALWAYS hold the title : QUEEN OF POP!

You don't have to MrHsauvageau. This version is utterly brilliant as is Deeper and Deeper which follows on from it. The Blonde Ambition performance is a fabulously aggressive, take no prisoners version which I also love and it is arguably more iconic. Still, this one moves me in ways I barely understand.
Props to Nicky & Donna. They had to be tight as ever and did it magnificently! Madonna at her very best.
I've watched this tour in Rio de Janiero in 1993 and I heard her saying that she was singing to the biggest public in her life so for! We had on that day in Maracã Stadium 120,000 thousand people, it was just amazing! For those who may not know Maracã is the biggest stadium in the world! I'm crazy about this tour where we can hear the vocals and instruments playing during the show!

It’s too bad media and critics were so harsh during this era because she of Erotica videos , Sex Book . I mean she shook American culture to the core. So much so this tour was highly overlooked and it was phenomenal.

Nikki's last tour was Drowned World Tour in 2001, By the Confessions Tour only Donna was with Madonna and that was her last tour so far. unfortunately both Nikki and Donna dancing wise have gotten too old to keep up with Madonna, plus Nikki had injuries with broken legs and all. but the old times were indeed fun. they had a personality that none of the back up vocalist have with Madonna now
